Sage Sankara says:~ If you give up the external world in your inquiry, you cannot get the whole truth.+

There is only the mind that is present in the form of the universe. Thus we have to investigate the world that confronts us.

You cannot understand Sage Sankara instantly because your understanding is dualistic. It is not possible to realize the non-dualistic truth with dualistic understanding unless you inquire into the nature of the universe.
That is why Sage Sankara says you must first know what is before you. If you cannot know that, what else can you know or understand? If you give up the external world in your inquiry, you cannot get the whole truth.
Sage Sankara says the transparent Truth of the Self, which is hidden by the illusion, is to be attained through the instructions of a knower of Brahman, (Gnani).
First, know ‘what is the truth’ and ‘what is untruth’ for sure. Without realizing what untruth truth is, it is difficult to know what truth is.
Sage Sankara: ~VC 63-"Without knowing and examining the universe, one can’t know the Truth, as the idea that the external world exists, won't go. It can go only by an inquiry into the nature of the external world.
Sage Sankara says: ~ “What is accepted without a proper inquiry will not lead a person to the final goal. On the contrary, such acceptance will result only in evil, in something detrimental to our spiritual progress.

The universe hides consciousness. The universe is like a cloud and consciousness is like water hidden by the cloud. The cloud has no existence without water. The same way the universe ceases to exist without consciousness.:
The very purpose of analyzing the world that confronts you is to realize the fact that, the form, time, and space are merely an illusion created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. Thus, to enable you to judge the ‘what is what’ from the highest viewpoint.
People fail to make this analysis, as with so many religious, yogic, and intellectual-minded seekers fail to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman because their judgment is based on the dualistic perspective.
On the non-dualistic perspective, the world that confronts you is merely an illusion created out of consciousness.

One must be receptive and sharp enough to grasp the truth, which is beyond the form, time, and space.

Remember:~

After verifying through deeper inquiry if one finds the world is the reality within the illusion then he cannot again say the world is not an illusion.

If one is frightened to accept the world is an illusion (waking) then he is unfit to acquire ‘Self’-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

Those who are stuck with the reality of the world are stuck with the reality of the individual experiences of birth, life, and death, which take place within the unreal world.

Thus the pursuit of truth is for those who have the courage to accept the reality as it is, that is the reality without the illusory form, time, and space.

All is consciousness. The whole universe is consciousness. From consciousness, the universe comes. When the universe disappears consciousness still remains without the illusory form, time, and space.

Sage Sankara: ~ VC~ All this universe which through ignorance appears as of diverse forms, is nothing else but Brahman (Consciousness) which is absolutely free from all the limitations of Maya.

When you finally realize the ‘‘Self’ ‘is not you but the ‘‘Self’’ is the Soul then you will realize the world in which you exist is merely an illusion created out of the Soul. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness.

Sage Sankara says:~VC-47 All the effects of ignorance, root, and branch, are burnt down by the fire of knowledge, which arises from discrimination between these two—the Self and the non-Self.

Till you think you are an individual separate from the world and the world that existed prior to you and you are born in it afterward the ignorance will prevail as a reality. Till ignorance is there the universe prevails as reality.

The Soul is the ‘Self’. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness. Consciousness is that which knows everything, that which sees. Consciousness alone remains after one gets rid of all thoughts and ideas by identification with ‘Self’. Consciousness is only the seer; it is not Brahman that is an error. It becomes Brahman only after a deeper inquiry and Soulcentric reasoning. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

The truth, which is based on the Athma it is Adyathma.+

You are being conditioned by the religious myth which has made you a non-thinker. Come out of the religious myth by realizing God in truth.

It is time to free oneself from the prison of orthodoxy and strive to acquire the Advaitic wisdom of Sage Sankara.

Adyatma is nothing to do with religious sect or creed and religious belief. Adyatma is pure spirituality. Knowledge of Atma is Adyatma. Advaita is Adyatma.

Adyatma is the knowledge of the truth beyond the form, time, and space. Bifurcate religion, yoga, and theoretical philosophy. The truth, which is based on the Athma it is Adyathma.

Adyatma is based on the ultimate truth which is based on the Atman or Spirit, which is the Self.

Sage Sankara's Advaitic wisdom is pure spirituality or Adyathma.

If people have believed religious propagated myth thing over thousands of years, the length of time does not prove it true.

Sage Sankara’s  Brahman or God in truth is impersonal. Worshipping personal Gods is meant for the orthodox people who are ignorant and refuse to accept the truth.

Nagarjuna:~ All the philosophies are a mental fabrication. There has never been a single doctrine by which one could enter the true essence of things.

Sage Sankara clearly says:~ Neither studying philosophy nor by worship as many gods nor observe ceremonies nor by singing devotional hymns nor by uttering mantra nor by mastering the scriptures liberation comes without realizing the Oneness.

Remember:~

To argue with a person who has renounced the use of reason is like injecting medicine into a corpse.

You are an individual but the ‘Self’ is not an individual with form and name.

Remember, the Self is not you but the Self is the Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness. Until you hold ‘Self’ as you will remain in ignorance. You are the false self within the dualistic illusion (Maya).

The Soul, the ‘Self’ is hidden by the dualistic illusion (I). It is hidden by the dualistic illusion because the dualistic illusion is created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

You and your experience of the world is nothing but an illusion created out of the Soul, the Self, which is present in the form of consciousness. The nature of the Soul is awareness.

The seeker of truth read not to contradict and confute, nor to believe and take for granted, but to weigh and discover and realize the ‘Self’ hidden by the ‘I’ by using the Soulcentric reason

The seeker has is to discover the ‘Self’ hidden by the ‘I’ and drop old prejudices and accumulated ‘I-centric’ knowledge.

To understand and assimilate one needs to read words of wisdom. The seeker must mentally observe the worldview from the standpoint of the Soul. The seeker must have humility, an intense urge to read the blogs and posting, and without being judgmental arguing based on some theoretical authority or some famous Guru‘s point of view.

The seeker has to make sure his views and judgment based on the ego will not yield truth hidden by the ‘I’, which is the dualistic illusion. The seeker has to learn to view and judge the worldview on the standpoint of the Soul, the ‘Self’ then only he will be able to unfold the mystery hidden by the dualistic illusion (universe)

What is there to discuss and argue and exchange opinions? If one is seeking truth there is no need to discuss no need to argue but read and think and reason deeply the truth will start revealing on its own. Be an independent thinker. Do not accept anything without verification the seeker should not argue and waste his time. The argument will not yield the truth.

Atmic path is not a question and answers session. Atmic path is not the path exchange views and opinion. I have bifurcated what is not needed to realize the truth, which is hidden by the illusory form, time, and space.

Some people expect me to comment on their individual views and opinion and experiences. I do not want to mix others' views opinions and experiences, which is of no use in the Atmic path. I share only what reveals to me from the inner core.

Self-knowledge will not arise from the exchange of views and opinions and arguments. The accumulated knowledge is not a yardstick, to realize the truth beyond the form, time, and space.

Only the intellectuals argue to exhibit their intellectual wealth. The intellectual argument is based on ego. The egocentric intellectuality is limited to form, time, and space. The truth you are seeking is based on the Soul. The Soul is beyond the form, time, and space. Thus, what is the use of egocentric argument in the Soulcentric discussion?

That is why Bhagavan Buddha said: ~ ‘Believe nothing because a wise man said it, Believe nothing because it is generally held. Believe nothing because it is written. Believe nothing because it is said to be divine. Believe nothing because someone else said it. But believe only what you yourself judge to be true

Advaitic Wisdom consists of knowing the truth, that everything (mind or physical existence) is consciousness. The freedom (ultimate truth) is always there yet one does not know it. But to those whose reason is turned away from physicality and who have attained the serenity of the Soul or consciousness, the Self, are quite near to realizing the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.

Ashtavakra: ~ Diamonds are not many; only pebbles and rocks are so common. A single diamond is enough.

Intellectuals argue, if everything is consciousness, how can one give up anything? Can you give up anything? These types of questions are speculation based on the waking entity (ego), which is the false self within the false experience. Without knowing the Self is not the form but the ‘Self’ is formless it is impossible to realize the truth, which is hidden by the illusory form, time, and space.

All their speculation is limited to the domain of the form, time, and space whereas the truth is beyond the form, time, and space. They are incapable of understanding and assimilating truth, which is the ever formless, timeless, and spaceless existence. they refuse to verify and they want the truth on their own terms. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Knowledge of God in truth makes us free from religion, religious propagated Gods, heaven, hell, rituals, karma theory, prayers and worship, and Gurus.+

Knowledge of God in truth makes free us from religion, religious propagated Gods, heaven, hell, rituals, karma theory, prayers and worship, and Gurus.

Rig Veda: ~ 'Prajnanam Brahma'- Consciousness is the ultimate reality or Brahman or God in truth.

Do not accept any other God other than the Soul. The Soul is God in truth,  Nothing is real but the Soul, which present in the form of consciousness. Nothing Matters but realize  God in truth. God in truth is everywhere and in everything. Let these words be inscribed in your subconscious.

God in truth is hidden by the illusory universe. God in truth alone is real and eternal and all else is an illusion.

Brahman is merely a word to indicate the ultimate truth or God in truth.  The ultimate truth itself is God in truth.

Remember:~

All the religious scriptures and holy books are irrelevant -- God's greatest book is just in front of you. God is hidden by the universe.
Only when you open the book of the universe the God hidden in the book will be revealed.  When you finish reading the book of the universe then the universe will become an illusion and God alone prevails as the ultimate reality.
That is why Sage Sri, Sankara says you must first know what is before you. If you cannot know that, what else can you know or understand? If you give up the external world in your inquiry, you cannot get the whole truth.
You have to study the book of the universe carefully and find and realize God hidden in it.   All religions claim that their books are not man-made? Hindus claim that the Vedas are Aporsheya: not made by man but revealed by God himself; and Sanskrit is the divine language, not human. All religions have the same type of claim. Muslims say the Koran has descended from God, and so with Jews and Christians. Everybody is trying to claim that their book is the sacred book and nobody bothers to look at the real divine book.
This is what the real Veda, the real Koran, the real Bible is. This is the book, and all other books are man-made. Only this universe is the book that is authored by God, because, God is hidden by the universe.
The universe is real Veda, the real Koran, the real Bible is.  The universe is the book, and all other books are man-made.
Only when you open the book of the universe the God hidden in the book will be revealed.  When you finish reading the book of the universe then the universe will become an illusion and God alone prevails as the ultimate reality.

Sage Sri, Sankara: ~ VC~.63: "Without knowing and examining the universe, one can’t know the Truth, as the idea that the external world exists, won't go. It can go only by an inquiry into the nature of the external world.

Sage Sri, Sankara says: ~What is accepted without a proper inquiry will not lead a person to the final goal. On the contrary, such acceptance will result only in evil, in something which is detrimental to our spiritual progress.  You are also part of the divine book of the universe! And whatever you have seen, known, believed, and experienced as an individual is part of it.

Remember:~

The Upanishads clearly indicate, studying scriptures is not necessary.

Katha Upanishad:~ This Atman cannot be attained by the study of the Vedas, or by intelligence, or by much hearing of sacred books. It is attained by him alone whom It chooses. To such a one Atman reveals Its own form. (Ch-II -23-P-20)

The Upanishads clearly indicate, studying scriptures is not necessary.
Mundaka Upanishad:~This Atman cannot be attained through study of the Vedas, nor through intelligence, nor through much learning. He who chooses Atman—by him alone is Atman attained. It is Atman that reveals to the seeker Its true nature. (3 –page-70 Mundaka Upanishad (Upanishads by Nikilanada)

Is it not necessary to study the Vedas or at least Prastnatraya (Bhagavad Gita, Dasoponishad, and Brahma Sutra all with commentaries) to ensure firm realization. attain realization, all that is not necessary. You want words of wisdom, but you do not require all the scriptures to quench your quest.
Bhagavan Buddha said:~
Do not believe spiritual teaching just because: ~
1. It is repeatedly recited,
2. It is written in scripture,
3. It was handed from Guru to the disciple,
4. Everyone around you believes it,
5. It has supernatural qualities,
6. It fits my beliefs anyway,
7. It sounds rational to me,
8. It is taught by a respectable person,
9. It was said to be the truth by the teacher,
10. One must defend it or fight for it.
However, only when it agrees with your experience and reason, and when it is conducive to the good and gain of oneself and all others, then one should accept the teachings, and live up to them." ....Buddha.

Remember:~
Philosophers have made philosophy very complicated with their excessive analysis. Fortunate are the seekers who do not lose themselves in the labyrinths of philosophy.
Fortunate is the seeker who does not lose himSelf in the labyrinths of philosophy but by a perfect understanding of 'what is what' discovers the truth.
Self-Knowledge cannot be attained by the study of the Vedas and intellectual understanding or by bookish knowledge. Therefore, there is no use in studying the Vedas and other scriptures in order to acquire non-dual wisdom. That is why Buddha rejected the scriptures, and even Sage Sankara indicated that the ultimate truth lies beyond religion, the concept of God, and scriptures.: ~ Santthosh Kumaar

The ‘I’ is the mind. and the mind is the universe.+

Know what this mind in actuality. People mistake the ego for the mind. Without knowing what is mind? and what is the substance of the mind? and what is the source of the mind? it is impossible to unfold the mystery of the universe.

Without inquiring into the nature of the universe there can be no such thing as Advaitic Gnana.

The ‘I’ is the mind.

Make sure "what is this ‘I’, supposed to be in actuality.
The Self is not ‘I’.
The ‘I’ is not the Soul, the Self.
The ‘I’ is the mind.
The mind is the universe.
The universe appears as waking or dream (duality).
The waking is a parallel dream
The dream is parallel waking.
The ‘I’ appears and disappears.
Remember:~
When ‘I’ appears then only the mind appears.
When ‘I’ disappears then the mind disappears.
When the mind appears then the universe appears.
When the mind disappears then the universe disappears.
When the universe appears then the waking appears
When the universe disappears then the waking disappears.
Whatever prevails without the ‘I’ is the Soul, which is the cause of the ‘I’ and it itself is uncaused. The ‘I’ is merely an illusion created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
Bhagavad Gita: ~ “You must first see the ‘I’ as illusory before you see others as illusory. ~ CH.2 v.16
That is why Bhagavad Gita: ~ The permanent (consciousness) is always there, only the transient ‘I’ comes and goes. (2.18)
The ‘I’ hides the truth of the whole.

Remember:~

The mind is the whole universe. The universe appears as waking or dream (duality and disappears as deep sleep (nonduality).
The one that appears as waking or dream (duality) and disappears as deep sleep (nonduality), is the Soul, the ‘Self’.
The Soul is present in the form of consciousness. The consciousness pervades everything and everywhere in all three states.
Without knowing what the mind is in actuality, it is impossible to realize the truth, which is beyond the form, time, and space.
People think the mind is within the body but deeper Self-search reveals the fact that the world in which you exist itself is the mind.
When the ‘I’ is there then only the mind is there. If the mind is there then only the universe is there. If the universe is there then only the waking is there.

Thus, it is very much necessary to realize the ‘what ‘I’ is in actuality. Without knowing what is this ‘I’ it is impossible to realize the ‘I-less’ truth, which is beyond the form, time, and space.

Remember:~

First, know what is this mind supposed to be. The mind is present only waking or dream. The mind is absent in deep sleep.

The mind is present only when the form, time, and space are present and the mind is absent when the form, time, and space are absent.
The mind is present only when the universe is present and the mind is absent when the universe is absent.
The mind is present only when the ‘I’ is present and the mind is absent when ‘I’ is absent.
The mind is an object to the Soul is the subject.
Till you hold the mind is within the body you are unfit to acquire Self-knowledge. Your ‘I’ know attitude keeps you in the prison of ignorance and blocks you from realizing the Self.
Perfect understanding of ‘what is what’ leads to Self-awareness. People who refuse to hold their accumulated knowledge as a yardstick and refuse to drop their accumulated knowledge end up with perverted thinking. They want the truth on their own terms.
Katha Upanishad says ~ Fools dwelling in darkness, but thinking themselves wise and erudite, go round and round, by various tortuous paths, like the blind led by the blind. (Ch~ II-5 P-14)
Those who indulge in the perverted argument from their own standpoint and opinion are not seeking the truth, which is beyond form, time, and space. They just want to exhibit their accumulated knowledge accumulated from here and there. They think what they know is the ultimate truth.
They think whatever they propagate is the ultimate truth. The question never occurs to them, “Is what I know is really the truth: ~

Bhagavad Gita says: ~ Among thousands of men, scarcely one strives for perfection; and of those who strive and succeed, scarcely one knows the ‘Self’ in truth.
The path of wisdom attracts only those who are in search of truth and they appreciate it greatly. The ignorant are not spiritually matured the receive Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. The ignorant indulge in argument and provocation and personal attack, which hinder their own realization of the ultimate truth or Brahman.
That is why Jesus said:~ Do not throw your pearls before pigs, lest they trample them underfoot and turn to attack you. (Matthew -7:6)
~ Jesus meant Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.
Bhagavad Gita says ~ “Don't unsettle the minds of ignorant by revealing the esoteric truth." : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

The seeker has to mentally chew to get the nectar of the Advaitic wisdom of Sage Sankara.+

The seeker has to mentally chew to get the nectar of the Advaitic wisdom of Sage Sankara.
It takes time for the seeker to gain the perfect understanding of "what is the truth" and ‘’what is untruth".
It takes time for the Soul, the innermost Self to wake up from the sleep of ignorance, and it takes time for one realizes the 'Self"(truth), hidden by the ignorance (I).
Slowly but surely you must imbibe the truth, which is beyond the form, time, and space by realizing the form, time and space are one in essence.
When you enthrone the Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness in your subconscious, you will realize the world in which you exist is merely an illusory play of the consciousness.
Consciousness is ‘One’, and all divisions of the form, time, and space are illusory. Be established in this Advaitic Truth, which is eternal.
Perfect understanding and realization of "what is what"’ lead to Self-awareness. By holding onto some Gurus and their teaching one remains in the realm of duality.
You have to mentally go on dropping what is not the truth through deeper Self-search. Finally when you become aware of the fact that, your ego, your body, and the world are one in essence then there is Self-awareness in the midst of duality.
Sage Sankara says:~ VC-47- All the effects of ignorance, root, and branch, are burnt down by the fire of knowledge, which arises from discrimination between these two—the Self and the non-Self.
Until you think you are an individual separate from the world and the world that existed prior to you and you are born in it afterward the ignorance will prevail as a reality. Till ignorance is there the universe prevails as reality.
Sage Sankara says: ~ “The exercise in discrimination between real and unreal and renunciation of the false is real meditation, then why you are indulging in other types of meditation.
If the inquiry does not include the universe then it is incomplete. The universe itself is what God is all about. The totality of the universe is what God is all about. You just study the nature of the universe with all the seriousness and sincerity to unfold the mystery of the universe. That is all you have to do. The universe is the seeker's school.
Sage Sankara: ~ VC-63- "Without knowing and examining the universe, one can’t know the Truth, as the idea that the external world exists, won't go. It can go only by an inquiry into the nature of the external world.
All the religious scriptures and holy books are irrelevant -- God's greatest book is just in front of you.
That is why Sage Sankara says you must first know what is before you. If you cannot know that, what else can you know or understand? If you give up the external world in your inquiry, you cannot get the whole truth.
Remember:~
The Soul, the inner Guru reveals ‘what is real’ and ‘what is unreal” when the seeker is receptive and ready.
Come ye slow, or come ye fast; it is but the Soul, the Advaita that reveals itself at last.
The guidance comes from any form when the seeker is ready and receptive to take the mental (inner) journey.
People who are stuck accepting the ‘Self’ as the ‘I’ or ‘I AM’ are eaten only the half-cooked food and they are satisfied with half-baked knowledge. And they will not be able to grasp digest the fullness of consciousness because their conviction about it is deep-rooted.

Thus, they remain in ignorance thinking they know everything without fully knowing what is what’.

Remember:~

Start your mental (inner) journey even you may find it difficult in the first as you go on reading the post your subconscious will start dropping the dualistic egocentric knowledge and start accepting the Soul-centric Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

As you cross the ‘I’ and get to the other side and once you are on the other side of the ‘I’ is the reality, which beyond the form, time and space. You will realize that the ‘I’ is an illusion.

Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is nothing to do with the ‘I-centric' teaching.

Remember:~

The ‘I’ is not an individual because the ‘I’ is the whole universe. Limiting the ‘I’ to individuality is the cause of experiencing the dualistic illusion as a reality?

The nature of the ‘I’ is the nature of the mind.

The nature of the mind is the nature of the universe.

The nature of the universe is the nature of the waking.

The nature of the waking is the nature of the illusion.

Thus, it is necessary to study the nature of the ‘I’ to unfold the mystery of the universe.

All the teachings limit the ‘I’ to an individual and glorify the ‘I’ without knowing what this ‘I’ supposed to be in actuality. All ‘I’ based teachings are inadequate and useless for the serious seeker of truth.

If you are seeking truth nothing but the truth must discard without mercy such teaching in order to progress in your spiritual quest.

The seeker must know the ‘I’ is not limited to individuality. The seeker has to see the ‘I’ as the universe, in order to overcome the ignorance. When the Advaitic wisdom dawns, then the ignorance vanishes.

When ignorance vanishes and the dualistic illusion (world) you used to think as reality becomes unreal. : ~Santthosh Kumaar
