The seeker has to mentally chew to get the nectar of the Advaitic wisdom of Sage Sankara.
It takes time for the seeker to gain the perfect understanding of "what is the truth" and ‘’what is untruth".
It takes time for the Soul, the innermost Self to wake up from the sleep of ignorance, and it takes time for one realizes the 'Self"(truth), hidden by the ignorance (I).
Slowly but surely you must imbibe the truth, which is beyond the form, time, and space by realizing the form, time and space are one in essence.
When you enthrone the Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness in your subconscious, you will realize the world in which you exist is merely an illusory play of the consciousness.
Consciousness is ‘One’, and all divisions of the form, time, and space are illusory. Be established in this Advaitic Truth, which is eternal.
Perfect understanding and realization of "what is what"’ lead to Self-awareness. By holding onto some Gurus and their teaching one remains in the realm of duality.
You have to mentally go on dropping what is not the truth through deeper Self-search. Finally when you become aware of the fact that, your ego, your body, and the world are one in essence then there is Self-awareness in the midst of duality.
Sage Sankara says:~ VC-47- All the effects of ignorance, root, and branch, are burnt down by the fire of knowledge, which arises from discrimination between these two—the Self and the non-Self.
Until you think you are an individual separate from the world and the world that existed prior to you and you are born in it afterward the ignorance will prevail as a reality. Till ignorance is there the universe prevails as reality.
Sage Sankara says: ~ “The exercise in discrimination between real and unreal and renunciation of the false is real meditation, then why you are indulging in other types of meditation.
If the inquiry does not include the universe then it is incomplete. The universe itself is what God is all about. The totality of the universe is what God is all about. You just study the nature of the universe with all the seriousness and sincerity to unfold the mystery of the universe. That is all you have to do. The universe is the seeker's school.
Sage Sankara: ~ VC-63- "Without knowing and examining the universe, one can’t know the Truth, as the idea that the external world exists, won't go. It can go only by an inquiry into the nature of the external world.
All the religious scriptures and holy books are irrelevant -- God's greatest book is just in front of you.
That is why Sage Sankara says you must first know what is before you. If you cannot know that, what else can you know or understand? If you give up the external world in your inquiry, you cannot get the whole truth.
The Soul, the inner Guru reveals ‘what is real’ and ‘what is unreal” when the seeker is receptive and ready.
Come ye slow, or come ye fast; it is but the Soul, the Advaita that reveals itself at last.
The guidance comes from any form when the seeker is ready and receptive to take the mental (inner) journey.
People who are stuck accepting the ‘Self’ as the ‘I’ or ‘I AM’ are eaten only the half-cooked food and they are satisfied with half-baked knowledge. And they will not be able to grasp digest the fullness of consciousness because their conviction about it is deep-rooted.
Thus, they remain in ignorance thinking they know everything without fully knowing what is what’.
Remember:~
Start your mental (inner) journey even you may find it difficult in the first as you go on reading the post your subconscious will start dropping the dualistic egocentric knowledge and start accepting the Soul-centric Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.
As you cross the ‘I’ and get to the other side and once you are on the other side of the ‘I’ is the reality, which beyond the form, time and space. You will realize that the ‘I’ is an illusion.
Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is nothing to do with the ‘I-centric' teaching.
Remember:~
The ‘I’ is not an individual because the ‘I’ is the whole universe. Limiting the ‘I’ to individuality is the cause of experiencing the dualistic illusion as a reality?
The nature of the ‘I’ is the nature of the mind.
The nature of the mind is the nature of the universe.
The nature of the universe is the nature of the waking.
The nature of the waking is the nature of the illusion.
Thus, it is necessary to study the nature of the ‘I’ to unfold the mystery of the universe.
All the teachings limit the ‘I’ to an individual and glorify the ‘I’ without knowing what this ‘I’ supposed to be in actuality. All ‘I’ based teachings are inadequate and useless for the serious seeker of truth.
If you are seeking truth nothing but the truth must discard without mercy such teaching in order to progress in your spiritual quest.
The seeker must know the ‘I’ is not limited to individuality. The seeker has to see the ‘I’ as the universe, in order to overcome the ignorance. When the Advaitic wisdom dawns, then the ignorance vanishes.
When ignorance vanishes and the dualistic illusion (world) you used to think as reality becomes unreal. : ~Santthosh Kumaar
