What the Self is in actuality you alone must grasp it. Others cannot do it for you.+

Adyatma is nothing to do with religious sect or creed and religious belief. Adyatma is pure spirituality. Knowledge of Atma is Adyatma. Advaita is Adyatma.

Adyatma is the knowledge of the truth beyond the form, time, and space. Bifurcate religion, yoga, and theoretical philosophy and based the truth on the Athma it is Adyatma.

Adyatma is based on the ultimate truth which is based on the Atma or Spirit, which is the Self.

Sage Sankara's Advaitic wisdom is pure spirituality or Adyathma.:~Santthosh Kumaar

To argue with a person who has renounced the use of reason is like injecting medicine into a corpse.

By finding out who you are nothing is gained but by discovering the source of the universe, the Self hidden by the universe can be discovered.

Remember:~

What the Self is in actuality you alone must grasp it. Others cannot do it for you. When you realize what the Soul, the 'Self' hidden by the ‘I’ as it is, then it is possible to transcend the dualistic illusion or Maya into Advaitic reality.

Sage Sankara: ~ ‘Reality can be realized only with the eye of understanding, not just by a scholar. What the moon is like must be seen with one's own eyes. How can others do it for you?"~Vivekachoodamani

Without knowing the truth of the Self, without realizing the truth of the world in which you exist it is impossible to realize the truth hidden by the 'I'.

The nature of the Soul is formless, timeless, and spaceless existence. All the efforts and choices belong to the domain of form, time, and space. From the standpoint of the Soul, the Self the form, time, and space are a dualistic illusion or Maya.

The truth you are seeking is the ‘Self’, which is hidden by the dualistic illusion or Maya. The dualistic illusion is present in the form of the ‘I’. The ‘I’ is present in the form of the universe. The universe appears as waking or dream (duality) and disappears as deep sleep (nonduality).

You cannot think beyond the form, time, and space without a perfect understanding of what is what.

Without knowing what is real?’ and ‘what is unreal’ ?it is impossible to realize the truth which is hidden by the ‘I’.

The seeker must realize how this ‘I’ an illusion and on what standpoint the ‘I’ is an illusion.

Your nature is dualistic and the nature of the Soul, the Self is nondualistic. Holding the ‘Self as ‘you’ is a great error. All the Gurus of the past hold the ‘Self’ as ‘I’ or you and spin their imagination, which leads to hallucination. Thus, the ‘I-centric’ or ‘you-centric gurus and their teaching is nothing to do with the Advaitic wisdom of Sage Sankara.

The Soul is the Self. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness. Consciousness pervades everywhere and in everything in the universe because the universe is nothing but an illusion created out of consciousness.

Advaitic wisdom is not a result of having understood this Truth on a dualistic perspective, but it is the actual realization of the Soul, the ‘Self’ hidden by the dualistic illusion or Maya.

Self-realization is the height of all other realization. Self-awareness cannot be understood with the help of dualistic intelligence.

If you cannot accept the Soul, the Self as God then you will not be able to realize God in truth. The Soul, the Self is God in truth undoubtedly. But it is difficult for the ignorant populace to accept God in actuality.

The religions never accept God in truth because it projects its belief as God even though the scriptures indicate what god supposed to be in actuality it hides God in truth.

Without knowing - what is real?’ and ‘what is unreal’ ?it is impossible to realize the truth which is hidden by the ‘I’.f form, time, and space. From the standpoint of the Soul, the Self the form, time, and space are a dualistic illusion or Maya.:~Santthosh Kumaar

God in truth is hidden by the illusory universe. God in truth alone is real and eternal and all else is an illusion.+

Rig Veda: ~ 'Prajnanam Brahma'- Consciousness is the ultimate reality or Brahman or God in truth.

Do not accept any other God other than the Soul. The Soul is God in truth,  Nothing is real but the Soul, which present in the form of consciousness. Nothing Matters but realize  God in truth. God in truth is everywhere and in everything. Let these words be inscribed in your subconscious.

God in truth is hidden by the illusory universe. God in truth alone is real and eternal and all else is an illusion.

Brahman is merely a word to indicate the ultimate truth or God in truth.  The ultimate truth itself is God in truth.

Remember:~

God is not what you religiously believe and worship. He who worships God as an entity entirely separate from the Self does not know the God in truth.

Bhagavad Gita: ~ “All those whose intelligence has been stolen by material desires, they worship many gods. (7- Verse)
God is in everything and everywhere in the universe because the universe is an illusion created out of God.
Sage Sankara: ~"That which permeates all, which nothing transcends and which, like the universal space around us, fills everything completely from within and without, that Supreme non-dual Brahman (God)."
Bhagavad Gita: ~ Brahmano hi pratisthaham ~ Brahman (God) is considered the all-pervading consciousness (Spirit), which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27).
When Bhagavad Gita says, God is considered the all-pervading consciousness (Spirit) which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material then nothing has to be accepted as God other than consciousness.
The God you worship and pray is not God in truth. Rituals, ceremonies, and prayers in churches and mosques, and worship in temples will not bring any result without knowing God in truth.
Lord Krishna Says Ch ~V: ~ “Those who know the ‘Self’ in truth.". The last two words (tattvataha) are usually ignored by pundits, but they make all the difference between the ordinary concept of God and the truth about God.
The dualistic worship of "God” is only for the ignorant populace. The God in truth is only Atman, the innermost Self. In reality, there is no duality and no differentiation. Only Atman exists.
When you realize God in truth then you will realize the falsity of your inherited blind belief based on religion.
Upanishads confirm God is Atma:~
Brihad Upanishad: ~ “If you think there is another entity, whether man or God there is no truth."
Brihadaranyaka Upanishad: ~ Brahman (God) is present in the form of the Athma, and it is indeed Athma itself.

Remember: ~

Rig Veda: ~ The Atman (Soul or Spirit) is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman the innermost self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)
Vedas say not to worship anything, which belongs to the illusion, in place of the Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness, which is the real God.
Rig-Veda 1-164-46 and Y.V 32-1 clearly mention that God is “One”.
Rig Veda says God is ‘ONE’ and God is Atman, then why believe and worship anything else as God in place of real God.
Worshipping whatever belongs to the illusion keeps us in ignorance. Till ignorance is there we will not be able to realize the truth, which is hidden within the form, time, and space but it is beyond the form, time, and space.
No amount of prayer or meditation can do what help you to realize God in truth. Self-realization is truth-realization, truth realization is God-realization. Self-realization itself is real worship.
Vedas, Upanishad, and Bhagvad Gita Bible confirm the Soul, the Self, which is present in the form of the Spirit or the consciousness is God.
When you realize God in truth then you will realize the falsity of your inherited blind belief based on religion. In reality, there are no dualities and no differentiation. Only Atman exists. :~Santthosh Kumaar

It takes time for the seeker to gain the perfect understanding of ‘what is the truth’ and ‘what is untruth’.+

The seeker of truth has to do his duty in practical life within the practical world. The seeker should not remain idlers like yogis who are no better than a wooden log.

Amid difficulties and busy life of practical life within the practical world, the seeker has to live and yet get on with the inner quest.

There is no alleviation of ignorance except the realization of the ultimate Truth or Brahman. Yoga may alleviate one's mental and physical stress.

The seeker of truth has to live in the world and he must know the ‘‘Self’’ is not of this world because the ‘‘Self’’ is formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.

The advaitic wisdom will not dawn by renouncing the worldly life and shutting yourself in a cave or Ashram or monastery. Too much yoga leads to insanity and fixed ideas or delusions.

The main purpose of analyzing the world that confronts is to discover that it is to realize it is nothing but the illusion created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

People fail to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman because they have stuck with the reality of the world.

Too much religion and false belief drugs the power of reason. To effect this discrimination, we need intelligence much sharper than the average. Weak minds cannot take a comprehensive view and so decry what they cannot understand.

When you realize you and your experience of the world are made of the single stuff and that single stuff is the consciousness with full and firm conviction then there unity in diversity in your understanding. There is no second thing exists other than consciousness.

It is the ignorance that creates illusion and it is the ‘Soul, the innermost ‘Self’’ that gets free of it. Words may aggravate ignorance; words may also help dispel it. There is a need to repeat the same truth again and again until it becomes a reality.

The seeker has to reflect on the nature of the Soul constantly day after day until the conviction of the truth, which is beyond the form, time, and space, becomes firm and he gets the firm conviction.

The seeker needs to hear the words of wisdom until he realizes the form, time and space are one in essence.

It takes time for the seeker to gain the perfect understanding of ‘what is the truth’ and ‘’what is untruth’. It takes time for the Soul, the innermost ‘Self’ to wake up from the sleep of ignorance, and it takes time for one realizes the truth, which is beyond the form, time, and space.

The Soul has to wake up from the sleep of ignorance, and then only it is possible to realize the form, time and space are one in essence. That essence is the Soul or consciousness.

If the form time and space are one in essence, then there is no division in consciousness.

If there is no division in consciousness, then there no duality, if there is no duality when there is unity in diversity.

Ignorance is the cause of experiencing duality as reality. By realizing Soul as the ‘Self’’, leads to Advaitic Self -awareness. The Soul, the ’Self’ is Absolute Knowledge, which cannot be negated. The nature of the Soul is Advaitic awareness. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

When the conviction about consciousness becomes firm then everything falls into the right slot.+

‘Yourself’ is the ego. The ego is nothing but you. Love and hate belong to you. Pain and pleasure belong to you. The world in which you exist belongs to you. Holding the Self as yourself keeps you permanently in ignorance.

Remember:~
Till you think the ‘Soul, the Self’ is within you, you will never be able to realize God in truth. God in truth is not limited to you but it pervades in everything and everywhere in the world in which you exist.

You are with the body. You are born in this world. You are living in this world and you are going to die in this world. The world itself is an illusion.
When the ‘Self’ is not you but the ‘Self is the Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness then what is the use of discussing about the birth, life, death, and the world because the one which is born, lives and dies is not the Self. The Soul is birthless and deathless because it is a formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.
You are the birth entity. Your existence is limited to form, time and space. Your religion, your religious Gods your beliefs, your religious rituals and prayers, your race, your nationality are nothing to do with the Soul, the ‘Self’ because the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness itself is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.
It is not you have to establish in consciousness but by realizing you, and your experience of the world is nothing but an illusion created out of the consciousness the Self-awareness raise in the midst of the dualistic illusion.
Mentally reduce the world in which you exist into consciousness by realizing the world in which you exist is nothing but consciousness. If everything is consciousness then how can anything exist which is not consciousness?
When the conviction about consciousness becomes firm then everything falls into the right slot.
Self-realization is very much necessary to realize the world is an illusion. Until and unless you realize the Self is not you but the Self is the Soul Self-realization is an impossibility. :~Santthosh Kumaar

The truth- realization is very simple. We make it complicated by mixing diverse theories, different ideologies, religions, and yoga.+

Blindly believing in some path, following some guru, practicing some so-called spiritual practice without verification will not help you to get rid of the ignorance. The truth- realization is very simple. We make it complicated by mixing diverse theories, different ideologies, religions, and yoga.

Sage Sankara says: - VC-47 All the effects of ignorance, root, and branch, are burnt down by the fire of knowledge, which arises from discrimination between these two—the Self and the not-Self.

Sage Sankara says - VC-162- There is no liberation for a person of mere book-knowledge, howsoever well-read in the philosophy of Vedanta, so long as one does not give up the false identification with the body, sense-organs, etc., which are unreal.

All our accumulated knowledge is the greatest hindrance in pursuit of truth. To realize the truth beyond the form, time, and space, one must have the courage of Buddha. Buddha got enlightenment only after dropping the religion, Vedas, and the concept of God. To realize the simple truth three is no need to go from one mountain to another, one Ashram to another or worship the Godmen or Guru as a God, or converting from one faith to another.

The truth is universal. Anyone can realize it if has an intense urge. There is no second thing that exists other than consciousness. In the world in which we exist, all our thoughts, words, beliefs, experiences are nothing but consciousness. Realizing the consciousness is everything, is truth realization or Self-realization or God-realization. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Your fortune and misfortune, your success and failure, your happiness and suffering are nothing to do with the Soul, the Self.+

Whatever is happening to you is happening within the illusory universe or Maya. Whatever is not happening is also happening is happening within the illusory universe or Maya.

Your fortune and misfortune, your success and failure, your happiness and suffering are nothing to do with the Soul, the Self.

You belong to the domain of the illusory form, time, and space, whereas the Soul, the Self is the formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.

The ‘Self ‘ is not you, therefore, your fortune and misfortune, your success and failure, your happiness and suffering, and the world are non-existent as a reality in the domain of the Soul, the Self.
The Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, is the only Reality. All else that seems real is an illusion. The Soul is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth. There is nothing besides the Soul. Therefore, think only of the Soul and constantly reflect on its nature.
You need not renounce worldly life or to leave anything ~ your wife, children, job, responsibilities in order to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

Renouncing worldly life is not a qualification to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. You do not have to renounce anything! The only thing you have to get rid of ignorance in order to realize the truth hidden by the ignorance. : ~
Santthosh Kumaar

‘I’, me and mine belong to you, not to the Soul, the Self which is ever formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.+

If you emotionally stick to the ‘I’-centric Gurus and their teaching you will never reach anywhere.

Bhagvan Buddha said: ~ “Believe nothing just because a so-called wise person said it. Believe nothing just because a belief is generally held. Believe nothing just because it is said in ancient books. Believe nothing just because it is said to be of divine origin. Believe nothing just because someone else believes it. Believe only what you yourself test and judge to be true.

Bhagvan Buddha: - There are only two mistakes one can make along the road to truth: not going all the way... and not starting

If you are seriously seeking truth you must complete your journey. Your emotions and sentiments towards the physical Guru keep you permanently in the mental asylum of the prison of ignorance.

Jesus said: ~ “Those who seek should not stop seeking until they find. When they find it, they will be disturbed. When they are disturbed, they will marvel and will reign over all. [And after they have reigned they will rest.]"

Meher Baba: ~ “When the reality appears this ignorance which one thinks as reality becomes unreal.

Swami Vivekananda says: ~ Advaita encompasses everything. Advaita requires heavy-duty intellectualism. From 'The Complete Works of Swami Vivekananda'...

‘I’, me and mine belong to you, not to the Soul, the Self which is ever formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.

‘I’, me and mine are a reality within the domain of the illusory universe or Maya.

Remember the ‘Self’ is not ‘I’ but the ‘Self’ is the Soul, the witness of the ‘I’.

Without the Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness, there is no ‘I’

There is no truth in ‘I’, me, and mine because ‘I’, me,  and mine belong to the dualistic illusion.

‘I’, me and mine are nothing to do with the Soul, the Self because the Soul is the fullness of the consciousness without the illusory division of the form, time, and space.

The ‘I’ is present in the form of the mind. The mind arises from the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

The ‘I’ rises as the mind.

The mind is in the form of the universe.

Thus, ‘I’ is the mind or universe.

The seeker has to divert his attention to the source from where the mind (universe) rises and subsides.

The universe appears as waking or dream (duality) and disappears as deep sleep (nonduality).

Ashtavakra Gita: ~ “The universe raises from the Soul, the innermost ‘Self’ like bubbles from the sea. Thus, know the Self to be one and in this way enter into the state of dissolution."

First, find out how this world, in which you exist, has come into existence. If you know the answer then all your doubts will vanish.

Taittiriya Upanishad: ~ “The Self in man and in the sun is one. Those who understand this see through the world and go beyond the various sheaths of being to realize the unity of life.

The truth is very simple. It is only to realize the world in which we exist is created out of single stuff. Knowledge of single stuff is Self-knowledge. Self-knowledge frees us all from ignorance.

Swami Vivekananda “The wicked are always looking for defects. Flies come and seek for the ulcer, and bees come only for the honey in the flower. Do not follow the way of the fly but that of the bee.

The seeker has to discard all accumulated knowledge accumulated from different Gurus and teachers.

Sage Sankara says: ~ VC-162- There is no liberation for a person of mere book knowledge, howsoever well-read in the philosophy of Vedanta, so long as one does not give up the false identification with the body, sense organs, etc., which are unreal.

People dwelling in the ignorance, but thinking themselves wise and erudite, go round and round by various blind beliefs and tortuous paths and practices, like the blind led by the blind.

Arise! Awake!

Swami Vivekananda said: ~ “You have to grow from the inside out. None can teach you, none can make you spiritual. There is no other teacher, but your own Soul.”

The Soul is the ultimate truth or Brahman. The Soul is only held in the illusory bondage of matter; perfection will be reached when this bond will burst, and the word they use for it is, therefore, Mukthi - freedom, freedom from the bonds of imperfection, freedom from ignorance."

That is why Sage Sankara says:~ VC-65- As a treasure hidden underground requires (for its extraction) competent instruction, excavation, the removal of stones and other such things lying above it and (finally) grasping, but never comes out by being (merely) called out by name, so the transparent Truth of the Self, which is hidden by Maya and its effects, is to be attained through the instructions of a knower of Brahman, followed by reflection, meditation and so forth, but not through perverted arguments.

In reality, three is no scope for two. Advaita means one without the second. Advaita means the Soul. The Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness, is one without the second.

The consciousness is one without the second because the world in which you exist is created out of the consciousness. Thus, everything is consciousness. No second thing exists other than consciousness. The consciousness alone is real and eternal.

Advaitic truth has to be grasped mentally by realizing the form, time and space are nothing but an illusion created out of the single clay, and that single clay is the Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness. Knowledge of the single clay is Advaita, the one without the second. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Advaitic orthodox parampara was introduced in the 8th century and Dvaita, and Vishista Advaita were introduced in the 12th century are noting to do with Sanatana Dharam which existed 2500 years prior to Hinduism.+

History speaks  The Religious paramparas like Advaita, Dvaita, and Vishista Advaita is orthodox paths.

Advaitic orthodox parampara was introduced in the 8th century and  Dvaita, and Vishista Advaita  were introduced in the 12th century by the founders of the caste-oriented founders are noting to do with Sanatana Dharam which existed 2500 years prior to Hindusim.

All these paramparas are based on myth meant for the ignorant people who incapable of grasping the Advaitic truth hidden by the illusory universe.

Vedas are in the Vedic language which was a high-class language. Rig Veda (excluding chapters II and X) were written before the Christian An era in the Vedic language. Vedic language is not Sanskrit. It is the same language in which the Zoroastrian Scripture Zend Avesta is written – a form of Persian language. All the other scriptures of India are written in Sanskrit.

These include Rig Veda Chapter II and X and the Upanishads, Brahmanas, Puranas, and the Vedanta. These were written during the Christian Era after the Thomas ministry. As the use of this language diminished, it became a tough language for the commoners. The priests, who were supposed to be an expert of this language, translated it into Sanskrit language and manipulated the meanings in time and gradually, all the practices changed.

The DaVita, Vedanta borrows the concept from Abrahamic religions, such as Eternal Damnation [of certain Souls destined to hell forever] which goes against the belief of most Vedanta schools, which states that Soul attains liberation.

It looks like the creator creation theory is also borrowed from Abrahamic religion and on the base new belief system has been introduced giving it a Vedic outlook and propagated all non-Vedic rituals and worships by someone in the past.

Remember this:~

St. Thomas is said to have come to India to spread Christianity in the first century AD. It first spread among the people of the Malabar coast and in areas near present-day Madras.

There is a total discontinuity in the concept of God before and after the entry of St, Thomas. As one goes in deeper into annals of religious history then we become aware of the fact that the Vedic Gods were personifications of Nature and their worship essentially sacrifices to these Natural Forces to appease them. All of a sudden by the first century, we encounter Vedanta. Vedanta literally means “End of the Vedas,” though it is today interpreted as "the essence of Vedas."

Vedanta, which appeared as theological discourses, presents a supreme Godhead, “Para Brahman’. Such an idea was not even remotely conceivable in the Vedic context.

New Gods like Maheshwar and Vishnu appeared. The concept of Maheshwar. Vishnu means Sky or Heavens. Vishnu simply means God of Heaven lies or one who pervades everything. Then we have the concept of incarnation – God taking flesh in human form to save humanity. All these suddenly appeared after the entry of St, Thomas.

This was also the time when most of the Vedic Gods passed into oblivion. Their place was taken by the trinity of Gods, with Brahma as the creator, Vishnu the preserver, and Shiva the destroyer. It is believed that when evil is rampant, various incarnations of Vishnu enter the world of men to save them. Krishna is one such 'avatar'.

There are many contradictions, Brahma Vishnu and Maheshwar are the three main Gods but they are one. Brahma is the creator of this universe (Generator), Vishnu is responsible for the smooth conduct of the same (sustainer), & Maheshwar is Destroyer! But if you go and read Vishnu Purana, he is characterized as the supreme power.

Further, due to many castes and sub-caste prevailing in the society, some more rules and principles were added for the benefit of these priests. Can you imagine how would you get rid of the sin you committed by killing a cat? You will have to make a golden cat weighing equal to the dead cat and hand over this golden cat to the priest chanting for the purification of the individual Soul! Hinduism is different from the Vedic religion.

Vedic religion was modified and reintroduced with new add-ons by the great Sage  Sankara to uplift the Vedic culture and Santana Dharma, which were in ruins in the clutches of Buddhism. 18 Puranas are introduced in the name of Veda Vyasa.

As one goes deeper in the annals of history, it indicates the fact that somewhere someone has added the Puranas in the name of Sage Veda Vyasa the grandmaster of Vedas. It is impossible to accept and believe that Sage Veda Vyasa authored and introduced Puranas which has all conceptual Gods because: ~

Veda Vyasa was an ancient Vedic  Sage who might have lived thousands of years but all these non-Vedic Gods of Hinduism did not exist in the Vedic era.  It was introduced after the 2nd century.

Vedas reveals ONE GOD but Hinduism filled with 33crores of Gods Vedas reveals God as Spirit (Atman or Brahman) and no form whereas Hinduism worships God in the form of various non-Vedic idols of Gods and Goddesses are barred by Vedas.

Puranas are mythological stories. Mythological God and Goddesses are based on belief. The belief is no God. The belief implies duality. From the ultimate standpoint, the duality is merely an illusion. Thus, whatever one sees, knows, believes, and experiences within the dualistic illusion are bound to be an illusion.

Mythological stories are myths. Whatever is based on myth is merely superstition. Mythology was introduced in the past for the ignorant masses.

All the mythological Gods are worshiped in the form of idols. The belief system which propagated ideas of many Gods and Goddesses Bhakti is the only way to God is simply tries to lead the people to darkness with its dogma and idea of many Gods, which apart from the Soul, the  God in truth.

Mythology breeds superstition, blind belief, and senseless rituals, and most irrational and gives them a divine outlook. Mythological stories are a myth. Whatever is based on myth is merely superstition. Mythology was introduced in the past for the ignorant masses. It has to be discarded if one has to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman or real God.

The Religious paramparas like Advaita, Dvaita, and Vishista Advaita are orthodox paths meant for the ignorant populace. Orthodox Advaita, Dvaita, and Vishista Advaita are nothing to do with the Advaitic wisdom of Sage Sankara.  Mixing orthodoxy with the path of wisdom is like mixing oil with water.  Advaitic wisdom is pure Spirituality based on the Soul, the Spirit.

Sage  Sankara says:  The orthodoxy is meant for ignorant people.

Sag Sankara says the scriptures dealing with rituals are addressed to an ignorant person.

Upanishad aspiration is best expressed in the following sutra:~

OM Asato ma sad gaMaya, tamaso ma jyotir gaMaya, mrityor ma aamritaam gaMaya. Shanti, Shanti, Shanti

"OM Lead me from ignorance to truth, from darkness to light, from death to immortality. Peace, Peace, Peace" (Brhadaranyaka Upanishad (1/3/28)).

According to Advaita Vedanta, the Veda addresses itself to two kinds of audiences - the ordinary ones who desire the transitory heaven and other pleasures obtained as a result of ritual sacrifices, and the more advanced seeker who seeks to know Brahman. Thus, the purva mimam. sa, with its emphasis on the Karma kanda of the Vedas is meant for the first audience, to help lead its followers along the way. However, the Vedanta, with its emphasis on the jnana kanda, is meant for those who wish to go beyond such transient pleasures.

Those who lack the intelligence to discriminate between formless witness (subject) and three states (object) will not be able to grasp what is real and what is unreal. Both subject and object are consciousness, not subject alone.

Ish Upanishad declares: - Those people who have neglected the attainment of ‘Self’-knowledge and have thus committed suicide ~10/11/12

Those people who have neglected the attainment of  Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana and have thus committed suicide, as it were, are doomed to enter those worlds after death.

This is a condemnation of people who do not try to attain Self-knowledge. They are, in a real sense, committing suicide, for what can be worse than being a slave to sense enjoyment, completely oblivious of the real purpose of life, which is to be one's, own master?

The Brahma Sutras together with Sage Sankara's commentary thereon do not contain higher Vedanta. They are intended for duffers.

Sage Sankara's commentary on Brahma Sutras is not on the philosophical basis, but on a religio-mystic one, with an appeal to Vedas as a final authority.

In Brahma Sutra Sage Sankara takes the position that there is another entity outside us, i.e. the wall really exists separately from the mind. This was because, Sage Sankara explains in Mandukya that those who study the Sutras are religious minds, intellectual children, hence his popular viewpoint to assist them. These people are afraid to go deeper because it means being heroic enough to refuse to accept Sruti, and God's authority, in case they mean punishment by God.

Sage Sankara says: Keep the scriptures for children but throw them on the fire for wise seekers.

In Brahma Sutras Sage Sankara takes for granted, assumes that the world was created: He there mixes dogmatic theology with philosophy.

That God created the world is an absolute lie; nevertheless, you will find Sage  Sankara (in his commentary on Vedanta Sutras) clearly says this! He has to adapt his teachings to his audience, reserving the highest for philosophical minds.

The text of Brahma Sutras is based on religion, dogmatism, but in the commentary Sankara cleverly introduced some philosophy. If it is objected that many Upanishads are equally dogmatic because they also begin by assuming Brahman, but a few Upanishads do not but prove Brahman at the end of a train of proof.

The causality and creation, but are for religious people only.  Religion is only for those who are unable to understand truth beyond the form, time, and space. Religion is not final. It only gives satisfaction to the populace. Self-knowledge is for the whole of humanity to free them from experiencing the birth, life, death, and world as reality.

People of small intelligence follow religion and believe that the world was created by God. But how do they know that He did so? When a pot is created, one can see both pot and its maker, but not in the case of the world.

This is the following prescription prescribed by orthodoxy in the name of Sage  Sankara.  The orthodoxy has listed down in 5 verses, 40 steps of Sadhanas (discipline) to be followed to achieve the (only meaningful) goal of human life Moksha, liberation.  Use it every day as contemplative prayer.

Rituals and sacrifices are orthodox prescriptions to ignorant people who are incapable of grasping Advaita:~

Sage Sankara clearly says:~ Neither studying philosophy nor by worship as many gods nor observe ceremonies nor by singing devotional hymns nor by uttering mantra nor by mastering the scriptures liberation comes without realizing the Oneness.

Sage Sankara pointed out those rituals could in no way bring about wisdom, much less moksha.

But remember:~

If people have believed religious propagated myth thing over thousands of years, the length of time does not prove it true.

You are being conditioned by the religious myth which has made you a non-thinker. Come out of the religious myth by realizing God in truth.

First Mundaka - Chapter 2 (10) - Ignorant fools, regarding sacrifices and humanitarian works as the highest, do not know any higher good. Having enjoyed their reward on the heights of heaven, gained by good works, they still remain in ignorance of the Atman the real God.

People who perform rituals throughout their life.  People who perform rituals and aspire for rewards will view the world in which they exist as a reality. However, the Soul, the Self unborn eternal hidden by the world in which they exist.  From the standpoint of the Soul, the world in which he exists is merely an illusion.

The scriptures dealing with rituals, rewards, etc. are therefore addressed to an ignorant person.

First Mundaka - Chapter 2 (9) - Children, immersed in ignorance in various ways, flatter themselves, saying: We have accomplished life's purpose. Because these performers of karma do not know the Truth owing to their attachment, they fall from heaven, misery-stricken, when the fruit of their work is exhausted.

Sage  Sankara says,   that, the orthodoxy is meant for ignorant people.

Sage Sankara: ~ "Though I wear these robes of a Sanyasin, it is only for the sake of bread."

~ This shows he was wearing the religious robe only for the sake of bread."

All the rituals based on the false belief of God will not yield any fruits and they are meant for the ignorant populace who are unable to grasp God beyond the form, time, and space.

One of Sage Sankara’s missions was to wean people away from a ritualistic approach advocated by Mimamsakas and to project wisdom (jnana) as the means of liberation in the light of Upanishad teachings.

Sage Sankara criticized severely the ritualistic attitude and those who advocated such practices. However, the Orthodox texts that combined rituals with wisdom (jnana_karma_samucchaya) more in favor of the Mimamsaka the position came into vogue, projecting Sage Sankara as the rallying force of the doctrine.

That is why Sage Sankara:~ (11) As regards the rituals, Sage Sankara says, the person who performs rituals and aspires for rewards will view himself’ in terms of the caste into which he is born, his age, the stage of his life, his standing in society, etc. Also, he is required to perform rituals all through his life. However, the ‘Self’ has none of those attributes or tags. Hence, the person who superimposes all those attributes on the changeless, eternal Self’ and identifies the ‘Self’ with the body is a confusing one for the other; and is, therefore, an ignorant person. The scriptures dealing with rituals, rewards, etc. are therefore addressed to an ignorant person. -Adhyasa Bhashya

Sage Sankara:~ (11.1) This ignorance (mistaking the body for ‘Self’) brings in its wake a desire for the well-being of the body, aversion for its disease or discomfort, fear of its destruction, and thus a host of miseries(anartha). This anartha is caused by projecting karthvya(“doer” sense) and bhokthavya (object) on the Atman. Sankara calls this adhyasa. The scriptures dealing with rituals, rewards, etc. are,  therefore, he says, addressed to an ignorant person.-Adhyasa Bhashya

Sage Sankara:~ (11.2) In short, the person who engages in rituals with the notion “I am an agent, doer, thinker”, according to Sage Sankara, is ignorant, as his behavior implies a distinct, separate doer/agent/knower; and an object that is to be done/achieved/known. That duality is Avidya, an error that can be removed by Vidya. -Adhyasa Bhashya

Adhyasa Bhashya of Sage Sankara: ~ (12) Sage Sankara affirming his belief in one eternal unchanging reality (Brahman) and the illusion of plurality, drives home the point that Upanishads deal not with rituals but with the knowledge of the Absolute (Brahma Vidya) and the Upanishads give us an insight into the essential nature of the ‘Self’ which is identical with the Absolute, the Brahman.-Adhyasa Bhashya

No conceptual God can exist, apart from consciousness.  People are not aware of the fact that there is no individual God can exist, apart from the Soul, which is in the form of consciousness. Thus the Soul or   Consciousness is the true Self’.   If there is no consciousness, then there is no physical body, no ego, no universe, no religion, and no conceptual God. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar
