The Soul is the subjective reality. The universe is the objective reality.+

Ish Upanishad declares ~ “Those people who have neglected the attainment of ‘Self’-knowledge and have thus committed suicide.

Those people who have neglected the attainment of ‘Self’-knowledge and have thus committed suicide, as it were, are doomed to enter those worlds after death. This is a condemnation of people who do not try to attain Self-knowledge.

We think that our practical life within the practical world as a reality but it is not so, because the world in which we exist is an illusion created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. The Soul is the subjective reality. The universe is the objective reality. The universe is an object to the Soul, which is the formless subject.

That subjective experience need not be proved or disproved. However, all the confusion it created because of the ignorance of the subject hidden by the object. This ignorance can be removed by Advaitic wisdom.

The world in which we exist is both real and unreal. It is real because it is a manifestation of Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness, but is unreal, in the sense, that it is not absolute and eternal like consciousness itself.

The Soul is present in the form of the consciousness, cannot be negated, and that which is beyond contradiction.

The dualistic reality is limited to form, time, and space. On the Standpoint of the Soul, the form, time and space are one in essence. Until ignorance is there the form, time and space prevail as a reality. Ignorance will prevail till you hold the “‘Self’’ as the ‘I’. if there is no ‘I’ then there is only the Soul, the witness of the coming and going of the ‘I’.

You have got stuck up with the Gurus and their ‘I’ based teaching. You will never be able to cross the prison of the ‘I’ because you are immersed in worshipping the Gurus instead of completing your journey. Such worship, devotion, and reverence to Gurus will never allow you to realize the truth, which is beyond the form, time, and space.

‘I’ is the cause of all contradiction whereas the truth you are seeking is beyond all contradictions. The Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, is infinite.

There are two dimensions of reality. The dualistic and nondualistic reality, it does not mean they are two orders of reality. They are only two perspectives. Whatever that is there is real and is unaffected by our views.

The dualistic reality is merely an illusion created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness is the nondualistic reality.

The Soul, the Self is caught up in ignorance; it encounters the dualistic illusion (form, time, and space). However, the Soul, in reality, is a formless, timeless, and spaceless existence. The Soul is infinite. The infinite ‘Self’, perceived as limited to form, time, and space.

The illusory form, time, and space are superimposed on the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. In reality, the form, time, and space are made of the same clay, which the consciousness. Thus the consciousness alone is real and eternal and the form, time, and space are merely an illusion.

You are being an individual-in-the-world you are unaware of the fact that the ‘Self’ is the not you but the ‘‘Self’ is the Soul, which is the cause of the world in which you exist. Thus, the ‘Self’ is not an individual because it is formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.

The Soul is originally a pure, transcendental consciousness is taken it is due to ignorance which hides the Soul, the innermost ‘Self’ that the individual fails to see the nexus between the Soul and the world in which he exists.

That nexus indicates the oneness underlying the subject-object, inner-outer distinctions. All that is required is to remove the error and the Soul will shine on its own accord.

Water in the pond is clear and undisturbed. One can see the bottom of the pond through its still water. When, however, pebbles are thrown into the pond, the water in it is disturbed and the bottom of the pond becomes no longer visible. That bottom, however, is there all the time and it remains unchanged, no matter whether the surface water is disturbed or not. The water in the pond is the transactional world. The bottom of the pond is the transcendental reality. The disturbance created is ignorance.

The seeker has to mentally recognize subjective and objective reality. The objective reality is merely an illusion on the subjective reality. The objective reality never exists on the standpoint of subjective reality. The subjective reality is the fullness of consciousness. Objective reality is merely an illusory division of form, time, and space created on subjective reality.

The objective reality is superimposition over the subjective reality. The objective reality (world) seems real but it actually is unreal.

The superimposition of the illusory form, time, and space on the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, is the cause of ignorance. When the ignorance is removed through Advaitic wisdom then the illusory division form, time, and space never again prevail as a reality the same way as the dream never becomes a reality when waking takes place.

The superimposition of the illusory form, time, and space becomes one with the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

By constantly repeating ‘I THAT” ‘I AM THIS Who AM ‘I, without realizing what is this ‘I’ supposed to be in actuality, the ignorance becomes more and more deep-rooted, Then it becomes impossible to come out of the prison the intoxication of the ‘I’.

The Soul is not ‘I’ but the Soul is the witness of the ‘I’. The ‘I’, which appears and disappears is not permanent. The Soul is eternal. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

If one is seeking truth there is no need to discuss no need to argue but read and think and reason deeply the truth will start revealing on its own.+

To argue with a person who has renounced the use of reason is like injecting medicine into a corpse. If one is seeking truth there is no need to discuss no need to argue but read and think and reason deeply the truth will start revealing on its own.

In reality, there is no scope for two. Advaita means one without the second. Advaita means the Soul. The Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness, is one without the second.

Consciousness is one without the second because the world in which you exist is created out of consciousness. Thus, everything is consciousness. No second thing exists other than consciousness. The consciousness alone is real and eternal.

Advaitic truth has to be grasped mentally by realizing the form, time and space are one in essence.

Advaitic wisdom will not dawn by questioning. The questions, answers, questioner and answerer, and the world in which they exist are created out of single stuff. Knowledge of this single stuff is Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

To acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana perfect understanding of ‘what is what’ is needed. One will not be able to Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana by accumulating dualistic knowledge.

There is nothing to discuss or argue in the Atmic path. Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is knowledge of one without the second. Where there is no second thing then what is there to argue and discuss.

Remember:~

Many are interested in arguing on the basis of accumulated knowledge, but they do not understand the fact that neither by arguing nor by provoking the wisdom will not dawn.
The path of wisdom does not need any support from any scriptures, philosophy, and words of great people of the past because the path of wisdom is the path of verification not the path of argument.
The seeker has to get all his doubts and confusion cleared by discussing. The seeker should not hold his accumulated knowledge as a yardstick.
The ultimate truth or Brahman cannot be compared with any other knowledge because it is not based on form, time, and space
The Atmic path is not for the religious and yogic minded people. Religious and yogic people must move on their chosen path.
The Atmic path is for only seekers of truth who are seriously searching for the truth of their own existence.
Sages of truth restrained themselves parting the ‘Self’-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana to the mass and only a selected few. It was hidden from the people who were not qualified and receptive to it.
Self’- knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana was not written down but was imparted orally to the chosen few. Thus, religion was given to the mass, and knowledge of the spirit is given to only a selected few. Thus we find traces of the knowledge of the Spirit in the religious books in the form of parables.

Advaitic wisdom rises gradually by the weakening of ignorance as understanding and realization of ‘what is what’ matures.

Remember:~

A Gnani is a rational thinker. A Gnani will not be so foolish as to argue with an irrational man; the latter will put great warmth of feeling into his words, whereas the other will remain cool and calm headed, not wasting his time in attempting to reason with someone who is incapable of reasoning calmly, but can only rationalize his emotions.

What is there to discuss and argue and exchange opinions? If one is seeking truth there is no need to discuss no need to argue but read and think and reason deeply the truth will start revealing on its own. Be an independent thinker. Do not accept anything without verification the seeker should not argue and waste his time. The argument will not yield the truth.

Only the intellectuals argue to exhibit their intellectual wealth. The intellectual argument is based on ego. The egocentric intellectuality is limited to the form, time, and space. The truth you are seeking is based on the Soul. The Soul is beyond the form, time, and space. Thus, what is the use of egocentric argument in the soulcentric discussion?

That is why Bhagavan Buddha said: ~ Believe nothing because a wise man said it, Believe nothing because it is generally held. Believe nothing because it is written. Believe nothing because it is said to be divine. Believe nothing because someone else said it. But believe only what you yourself judge to be true

The wisdom consists in knowing the truth, that everything (mind or physical existence) is the consciousness. The freedom (ultimate truth) is always there yet one does not know it. But to those whose reason is turned away from physicality and who have attained the serenity of the Soul or the consciousness, the innermost Self, is quite near to realizing the ultimate truth or Brahman.

Ashtavakra: ~ Diamonds are not many; only pebbles and rocks are so common. A single diamond is enough.

Intellectuals argue, if everything is consciousness, how can one give up anything? Can you give up anything? These types of questions are speculation based on the waking entity (ego), which is the false self within the false experience. Without knowing the ‘Self is not the form but the ‘Self’ is formless it is impossible to realize the truth, which is beyond the form, time, and space.

All their speculation is limited to the domain of the form, time, and space whereas the truth is beyond the form, time, and space. They are incapable of understanding and assimilating truth, which is the ever formless, timeless, and spaceless existence. they refuse to verify and they want the truth on their own terms. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Gnanis have ignored the opinions of whole peoples in their independent search for truth and questioned all beliefs, all scriptures, all authorities until they could be proved to be true.+

Gnanis have ignored the opinions of whole peoples in their independent search for truth and questioned all beliefs, all scriptures, all authorities until they could be proved to be true.

Even the arguments that religions have been followed since time immemorial makes no difference to them because if people have believed a false thing over thousands of years, the length of time does not prove it true.
The ultimate truth does not belong to the religion because the religion and its blind belief based God and its scriptures are a reality within the scope of form, time, and space whereas the ultimate truth is beyond form, time, and space.
The Gnani will follow whatever occupation he wishes according to circumstances. There are no prohibitions for him. He may be a peasant or a billionaire.
Gnanis do not perform miracles to attract attention to the truth. If anyone performed Miracles in a dream the dream, becomes unreal when the waking takes place. Similarly, the waking becomes unreal when wisdom dawns.
Advaitic Wisdom dawns when the waking entity (you) realizes it itself is not the Self, but the Self is the Soul, which witnesses the coming and going of the three states. The witness of the three states and the three states are one in essence. That essence is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
Gnanis accepts the sameness in pleasure and pain because he is fully aware of the fact that pleasure, pain, and the world are made of the same stuff and that stuff is the Soul or the consciousness. Without consciousness, there is no pleasure, pain, and the world.
Gnani’s position is that if enjoyment comes, he accepts it; if it does not, he keeps quiet. Even when he is taking pleasures, however, they do not delude him and he regards them as a game he is playing for he knows their unreality: he does not take them seriously.
A Gnani is always there to remind us of the Truth and gives correct guidance.
The ultimate truth is that the seekers have to do their own homework and no God will come to do it. Sadly this is not acceptable to many.
A Gnani will never advertise. A Gnana is like a flower. People reach them following the fragrance.
People can only lecture for giving out falsehood, but it is a waste of time that delivers a public lecture giving out the truth. The illusions that appeal to the taste of the audience because they are ignorant about the world in which they exist is merely an illusion, from the standpoint of the Soul, the Self.
For a crowd at a venue will contain men of varying capacities to understand, of whom only one or two might be receptive to receive Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.
If one wants to interview a Gnani then he must be ripe enough to understand what a Gnani is pointing at. A Gnani will be withholding the truth because he is aware of the fact that, the unready people will not understand what he is saying. The path of wisdom is not the path of argument. The argument is possible only from the standpoint of the ego, which is the false self within the false experience.
That is why Bhagavad Gita says: ~ "Don't unsettle the minds of the ignorant by revealing the esoteric truth.”
A Gnani may travel provided he actively engaged therein helping the serious seekers.
For the benefit of those who think from the lower standpoint of the world of duality, the Gnani tells them to follow their chosen path and when they are convinced that their chosen paths are inadequate and useless in quenching their inner thirst then only they take the path of wisdom.
Gnani will not talk about practical life within the practical world. A Gnani will open up the knowledge treasure to a genuine seeker.:~Santthosh Kumaar

If people have believed a false thing over millions of years, the length of time does not prove it true.+

Even the arguments that religions have been followed since time immemorial makes no difference to them because if people have believed a false thing over millions of years, the length of time does not prove it true. All the million years are within the dualistic illusion because from the ultimate standpoint, the form, time, and space.

Religion is nothing to do with the ultimate truth of Brahman. If one is seeking truth, then he has to be free from all the religious beliefs and dogmas. Religion is based on the ego (you), whereas, the ultimate truth is based on the Soul, the Self. Whatever is based on the ego is an illusion and whatever is based on the Soul is ultimate reality or Brahman. Thus, the religion has to be bifurcated from spirituality to realize the truth hidden by the illusory form, the time and space.
The Advaitic orthodoxy is nothing to do with the ultimate truth or Brahman. The Advaitic orthodoxy considers, the birth, life, death, rebirth, heaven, hell, sin, karma, and the world as a reality, whereas Sage, Sri, Sankara declares the world in which we exist is merely an illusion. If the world is an illusion, then the birth, life, death, rebirth, heaven, hell, sin, karma, and the world, is bound to be an illusion.
Without Sage Sankara, there is no Advaita (non-duality). Since it was mixed up with orthodoxy there is a lot of confusion. Sage Sankara’s quotes (selected verified) are quoted in my blogs and postings to show what Sage Sankara meant and ‘what is blocking the seekers from realizing the ultimate truth or Brahman.

There are so many non-dualistic masters of the east and also from the west who expound Advaitic or non-dualistic knowledge, but none of them are helpful to reach the ultimate end.
According to Advaita Vedanta, the Veda addresses itSelf to two kinds of audiences - the ordinary ones who desire the transitory heaven and other pleasures obtained as a result of ritual sacrifices, and the most advanced seeker who seeks to know Brahman. Thus, the purva mimam.sa, with its emphasis on the karma kanda of the Vedas, is meant for the first audience, to help lead its followers along the way. However, the Vedanta, with its emphasis on the jnana kanda, is meant for those who wish to go beyond such transient pleasures.
Sage Sankara's commentary to Brahma Sutras (Chap.3.4.50) shows that the Gnani "should pass through life", not run away from life and should take a middle course between seeking worldly honor and worldly abasement.
Sage Sankara varied his practical advice and doctrinal teaching according to the people he was amongst. He never advised them to give up their particular religion or beliefs or metaphysics completely; he only told them to give up the worst features of abuse: at the same time, he showed just one step forward towards the truth. Sage Sankara was extremely precise and careful in his choice of words.
Sage Sankara' gave religious, ritual, or dogmatic instruction to the mass, but pure philosophy only to the few who could rise to it. Hence the interpretation of his writings by commentators is often confusing because they mix up the two viewpoints. Thus, they may assert that ritual is a means of realizing Brahman, which is absurd.
Sage Sankara says in the commentary in Vedanta, sutra that what is accepted without a proper inquiry will not lead a person to the final goal. On the contrary, such acceptance will result only in evil, in something detrimental to our spiritual progress.
**
Seekers of truth should not believe blindly in traditional Advaitic orthodoxy without verifying all the facts from every angle. The orthodoxy has nothing to with spirituality, which is based on the Soul or spirit. One has to reflect through reasoning over and over again without getting tired of the process. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

The DaVita, Vedanta borrows the concept from Abrahamic religions.+

The DaVita, Vedanta borrows the concept from Abrahamic religions, such as Eternal Damanation (of certain souls destined to hell forever) which goes against the belief of most Vedanta schools, which sate that soul attains liberation.

It looks like the creator-creation theory is also borrowed from Abrahamic religion and on the base new belief system has been introduced giving it a Vedic outlook and propagated all non-Vedic rituals and worships by someone in the past.

St. Thomas is said to have come to India to spread Christianity in the first century AD. It first spread among the people of the Malabar Coast and in areas near present-day Madras.

There is a total discontinuity in the concept of God before and after the entry of St, Thomas. As one goes in deeper into the annals of religious history then we become aware of the fact that the Vedic Gods were personifications of Nature and their worship essentially sacrifices to these Natural Forces to appease them. All of a sudden by the first century, we encounter Vedanta. Vedanta literally means “End of the Vedas,” though it is today interpreted as "the essence of Vedas."

Vedanta, which appeared as theological discourses, presents a supreme Godhead, “Para Brahman’. Such an idea was not even remotely conceivable in the Vedic context.

New Gods like Maheshwar and Vishnu appeared. The concept of Maheshwar, Vishnu means Sky or Heavens. Vishnu simply means God of the Heaven lies or one who pervades everything. Then we have the concept of incarnation – God taking flesh in human form to save humanity. All these suddenly appeared after the entry of St, Thomas.

This was also the time when most of the Vedic Gods passed into oblivion. Their place was taken by the trinity of Gods, with Brahma as the creator, Vishnu the preserver, and Shiva the destroyer. It is believed that when evil is rampant, various incarnations of Vishnu enter the world of men to save them. Krishna is one such 'avatar'.

There are many contradictions, Brahma Vishnu and Maheshwar are the three main GODs but they are one. Brahma is the creator of this universe (Generator), Vishnu is responsible for the smooth conduct of the same (sustainer), & Maheshwar is Destroyer! But if you go and read Vishnu Purana, he is characterized as the supreme power.

Further, due to many castes and sub-caste prevailing in the society, some more rules and principles were added for the benefit of these priests. Can you imagine how would you get rid of the sin you committed by killing a cat? You will have to make a golden cat weighing equal to the dead cat and hand over this golden cat to the priest chanting for the purification of an individual soul! Hinduism is different from Santana Dharma Vedic religion.

Yajur Veda:~ "They are enveloped in darkness, in other words, are steeped in ignorance and sunk in the greatest depths of misery who worship the uncreated, eternal prakrti -- the material cause of the world -- in place of the All-pervading God, But those who worship visible things born of the prakrti, such as the earth, trees, bodies (human and the like) in place of God are enveloped in still greater darkness, in other words, they are extremely foolish, fall into an awful hell of pain and sorrow, and suffer terribly for a long time."~ (Yajur Veda 40:9.)

As indicated in ISH Upanishads: ~ “By worshipping Gods and Goddesses you will go after death to the world of Gods and Goddesses. But will that help you? The time you spend there is wasted because if you were not there you could have spent that time moving forward towards Self-knowledge, which is your goal. In the world of Gods and Goddesses, you cannot do that, and thus, you go deeper and deeper into darkness.

Brihadaranyaka Upanishad declares: "He who worships the deities as entities entirely separate from him does not know the truth. For the Gods, he is like a pasu (beast)". (1. 4. 10)

It clearly indicates that: -If the human goal is to acquire Self-Knowledge then why one has to indulge in rituals and glorifying the conceptual Gods, Goddesses, and Gurus to go into deeper darkness. Instead, spend that time moving forward towards Self-knowledge, which is one’s prime goal.

One must remember that for all periods the Vedas are the final goal and authority, and if the Puranas differ in any respect from the Vedas, the Puranas are to be rejected without mercy.

Self-realization is the Truth realization. Truth realization is God-realization. God-realization itself is real worship. : ~Santthosh Kumaar

The difference between a Gnani and a commoner.+

The difference between a Gnani and a commoner is a Gnani is fully aware of the truth, which is hidden by the ‘I’ whereas the commoner holds the ‘I’ as a reality.
For a Gnani, the world in which he exists is merely an illusion created out of the Soul, the Self. the commoner, the world in which he exists is a reality.
The look of an object will depend upon the medium through which the observer views it. In fact, our mental and intellectual conditions determine the world, observed, and experienced. The commoner viewing the world will see differently from a Gnani viewing the same world. Each one interprets the world that they see in terms of their existing knowledge. The commoner sees everything based on the ego, therefore, experiences the birth, life, death, and the world as a reality, whereas a Gnani sees everything as the consciousness and he is fully aware of the fact that, there is no second thing that exists other than the Soul or the consciousness. Thus, all the egocentric (religious) adulteration has to be bifurcated to realize the ultimate truth, which is beyond form, time, and space. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

God is an English word. The different language uses a different word for the same thing.+

GOD IS a mere word used by the religion who believed there is a higher power that is the cause of the creation. Different religions used different words for the same thing. The idea depends on the man’s imagination. God is an English word. The different language uses a different word for the same thing.
The words are there for only communication purposes.

The sages of truth called the ultimate truth as Brahman. For them, the ultimate truth is God.
The earliest uses of the word God in Germanic writing is often cited to be in the Gothic Bible or Wulfila Bible, which is the Christian Bible as translated by Wulfila (a.k.a. Bishop Ulfilas) into the Gothic language spoken by the Eastern Germanic, or Gothic Tribes. The oldest parts of the Gothic Bible, contained in the Codex Argenteus, is estimated to be from the fourth century. During the fourth century, the Goths were converted to Christianity, largely through the efforts of Bishop Ulfilas, who translated the Bible into the Gothic language in Nicopolis ad Istrum in today's northern Bulgaria. The words guide and guþ were used for God in the Gothic Bible.~wiki
All these experiences as the father, son, guru, pupil, and the world were one and the same consciousness appearing differently. All these distinctions disappear when one realizes the ultimate truth.

Remember:~

The religious Gods are personal Gods. In spirituality, the ultimate truth or Brahman is God. The religious God is personal whereas in spirituality God is impersonal because God is Spirit.

One must know the difference between the ordinary concept of God and the truth about God.
The existence is Brahman. The existence without the ‘I’ is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God.
The existence can remain as ‘I’ in waking or dream (duality). And it remains without the ‘I’ in deep sleep (nonduality. . or without the ‘I’. The existence
God exists as the ultimate truth. Hence, in the path of wisdom do not use the word, God. It will be misunderstood. Thus, Brahman, which means the ultimate truth, is the right word. Just for the communication to indicate the ultimate truth, the word God is used indicate the God in truth, which is Atman, the Brahman.
The ‘I’ is not limited to you and me because the ‘I’ is the whole universe. Without the ‘I’ the universe ceases to exist. The universe is present in the form, time, and space.
The word ‘I’ indicates form, time, and space. Without the ‘I’ the form, time and space cease to exist. The existence is hidden by the ‘I’. The Self is not the ‘I’ but the Self is the Soul hidden by the ‘I’.
The words are mere communication purposes. If you call it ‘Soul’, ‘Atman’, ‘Self’ ‘Brahman’ ‘God’ or the ‘ultimate truth’ it is one and the same thing.
We all exist within the dualistic illusion. The words are the only tool to indicate the truth, which is beyond the form, time, and space. It is impossible to use language without the words and expresses the formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.
Perfect understanding of ‘what is what leads to unfolding the mystery of the ‘I’. Sticking to the ‘I-centric’ gurus and their teaching keeps you in the cage of ignorance.
The ‘Self, the Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness is not limited to you because it pervades in everything and everywhere in the world in which you exist.
You are not God. The Soul the innermost ‘Self’ is God. It is not correct to say God or I am Brahman. But when Brahman is, how can "I" remain? Only Brahman or God remains, not the I.
From the standpoint of the Soul, the innermost Self, the ‘I’ is an illusion, which appears and disappears.
It is erroneous to use the word ‘I’ for the Self, because ‘I’ represents the form, time, and space whereas the Soul, the innermost Self is a formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.
Bhagavad Gita: ~ The permanent is always there, only the transient ‘I’ comes and goes. (2.18)
To understand the false nature of the ‘I’, the Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is necessary.
The Seeker must mentally grasp the truth hidden by the ‘I’ to unfold the existence without the form, time, and space (dualistic illusion or Maya).
The Self is not ‘I’, but the Self is the Soul which is the witness of the ‘I’. By holding the’ Self’ ‘I' leads to hallucination based on the imagination.
Those who are stuck with the ‘I’ based teaching never be able to cross the domain of the form, time, and space.
BRAHMAN -The English use of the word real as applied to the material world, whereas Indian Sages of truth use it as applied to unseen Brahman. Hence many errors have arisen in translations from the Sanskrit.
BRAHMAN- The word Brahman or Sat has no proper equivalent in English. The nearest is the ultimate reality or ultimate truth. The west, however, applies reality to individual objects or to the multiplicity of them all: whereas Advaitins apply it to the non-duality. Brahman is called "That" because it is something not known yet by the seeker. : ~Santthosh Kumaar

The Vedas bar polytheism thus, it proves that the Hinduism believes in polytheism is not Vedic Religion or Santana Dharma.+

The people in India believed in polytheism, believing all of their Gods to be separate individuals, which were introduced much later by the founders of Hinduism which contains diverse beliefs caste, and creed.

The Vedas bar polytheism thus, it proves that Hinduism believes in polytheism is not ancient Vedic Religion or Santana Dharma.

Bhagavad Gita Chapter: ~ “All those whose intelligence has been stolen by material desires, they worship many Gods. (7- Verse -20)

Rig Veda:~ 'Prajnanam Brahma': - Consciousness is the ultimate reality or Brahman or God in truth.

Rig-Veda 1.164-46 and Y.V 32-1 clearly mention that God is “One”.

Brihadaranyaka Upanishad: ~ Brahman (God) is the form of the Athma, and it is indeed Athma itself.

Rig Veda: 1.164.46: ~ Ekam Sat Vipra Bahudha Vadanti” -” The Reality (Truth or God) is One.

Rig Veda 1/164/46: ~ “They call him Indra, Mitra, Varuna, Agni or the heavenly sunbird Garutmat. The seers call in many ways that which is One; they speak of Agni, Yama, Matarishvan.

Rig Veda 8/58/2:~ Only One is the Fire, enkindled in numerous ways; only One is the Sun, pervading this whole universe; only One is the Dawn, illuminating all things. In very truth, the One has become the whole world.

The Upanishads say in effect that: ~ if you believe that you are one and God is another you cannot understand Truth.

Religious Gods are mere belief. Religious God cannot be considered as the center because, the Soul, the innermost ‘Self’ is the center of all that exists. Without the Soul the world in which you exist ceases to exist, it means the religious God is dependent on the Soul for his existence.

Brihad Upanishad: ~ “If you think there is another entity whether man or God there is no truth."

Rig Veda: ~ The Atman is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman the innermost self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)

Rig Veda declares God is ‘ONE’ and God is Atman, then why believe and worship in place of real God.

Maitreyi Upanishad 2:26 says: ~ All those who desire to have salvation without taking several births, should worship God in spirit and truth.

ISH Upanishads: - By Worshiping Gods and Goddesses you will go after death to the world of Gods and Goddesses. But will that help you? The time you spent there is wasted, because if you were not there you could have spent that time moving forward towards Self-knowledge, which is your goal. In the world of Gods and Goddesses you cannot do that, and thus you go deeper and deeper into darkness.

It clearly indicates that:-If the human goal is to acquire Self-Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Athma Gnana then why one has to indulge in rituals and glorifying the conceptual Gods, Goddesses, and gurus to go into deeper darkness. Instead spend that time moving forward towards Self-knowledge, which is one’s prime goal.

Upanishads: ~ They alone in this world are endowed with the highest wisdom who are firm in their conviction of the sameness and birthlessness of Atman. The ordinary man does not understand their way. (Chapter IV — Alatasanti Prakarana 95-P-188 in Upanishads by Nikilanada)

Sage Sankara’s Supreme Brahman (God) is impersonal, Nirguna (without Gunas or attributes), Nirakara (formless), Nirvisesha (without special characteristics), immutable, eternal, and Akarta (non-agent). It is above all needs and desires. It is always the Witnessing Subject. It can never become an object as It is beyond the reach of the senses. Brahman is non-dual, one without a second. It has no other beside it. It is destitute of difference, either external or internal.

Brahman cannot be described because description implies a distinction. Brahman cannot be distinguished from any other than It. In Brahman, there is not a distinction between substance and attribute. Sat-Chit-Ananda constitutes the very essence or Svarupa of Brahman and not just Its attributes. The Nirguna Brahman of Sage Sankara is impersonal.

Brihadaranyaka Upanishad says:~ "He who worships the deities as entities entirely separate from him does not know the truth. For the Gods, he is like a pasu (beast)”. (1.4.10)

That is why Sage Sankara:~ VC~.61- For one who has been bitten by the serpent of Ignorance, the only remedy is the knowledge of Brahman. Of what avail are the Vedas and (other) Scriptures, Mantras (sacred formulae) and medicines to such a one?

A sickness is not cured by saying the word “medicine.” You must take the medicine. Ignorance will not vanish does not come by merely saying the word “God nor by worshiping God of belief. First one must know what God supposed to be. God must be realized. One must know God in truth.

Perfect undemanding and assimilation of ‘what is what’ leads to truth realization, truth realization itself is Self-realization. Self-realization itself is God -realization. God- realization itself is real worship.: ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Devotion towards an inherited belief cannot transport the seeker towards the nondual destination.+

The devotional path is the religious path. Devotion towards an inherited belief cannot transport the seeker towards the nondual destination.

The devotion is between the person and his belief. The devotion is based on the belief system. The person, who has inherited some belief system, believes in the individualized God and indulges in the devotional path.

Devotional Gods are mythical Gods. Mythical Gods are not Vedic Gods. Vedic God is Athma, the Spirit. Devotional toward myth produces only myth. Thus, we must have the devotion to exploring God in truth.

The devotion makes one believe that he is a person and God has created this world. Therefore, he believes that he is born in this world and the world existed prior to him, this conviction makes him feel he is the doer.

Since he accepts himself as the doer; he will remain ignorant of the true self, which is the Soul. Ignorance makes him feel the illusion as a reality.

Bhagavad Gita: 7: 19:~ "Such a man who has attained true knowledge, the knowledge of Self, the knowledge of Atman, worships ‘Self’ as~ Atman (God) alone exists~ everything is Atman, there exists nothing except Atman. Such a man is extremely rare"

Bhagavad Gita:~ “All those whose intelligence has been stolen by material desires, they worship many gods. (7- Verse -20)

Brihadaranyaka Upanishad: ~ Brahman (God) is present in the form of the Athma, and it is indeed Athma itself’.

Thus, it refers to formless and attributeless God, which is the Atman (Soul), the ‘Self’ within the false experience.

Thus, it indicates clearly all the Gods with form and attributes are mere imagination based on the false ‘Self’. Thus Atman or Soul, the innermost ‘Self’ is God.

The Vedas do not talk about idol worship. In fact, till about 2000 years ago followers of Vedism never worshiped idols. Idol worship was started by the followers of Buddhism and Jains. There is logic to idol worship. Vedas speak of one God that is the supreme ‘Self’ in, i.e., Atman or Soul, but Hinduism indulges in worshiping 60 million Gods.

It indicates clearly all the Gods with form and attributes are mere imagination based on the false self.

The idea of religion and religious identity is based on the false self (waking). Belief in personal God will lead one to hallucination.

Without realizing the Soul, the Self, all types’ meditation keeps one in the grip of duality.

That is why Swami Vivekananda: ~ “The masses in India cry to sixty million Gods and still die like dogs. Where are these gods?

Brihadaranyaka Upanishad: ~ "He who worships the deities as entities entirely separate from him does not know the truth. For the Gods, he is like a pasu (beast)". (1. 4. 10)

In Yajur Veda – chapter- 32: ~God Supreme or Supreme Spirit has no ‘Pratima’ (idol) or material shape. He cannot be seen directly by anyone. He pervades all beings and all directions. Thus, Idolatry does not find any support from the Vedas.

Rig Veda:~ 'Prajnanam Brahma': - Consciousness is the ultimate reality or Brahman or God in truth.

Rig Veda: ~ The Atman (Soul or Spirit) is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman the ‘Self’. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)

Yajur Veda indicates that: ~

They sink deeper in darkness those who worship sambhuti. (Sambhuti means created things, for example, table, chair, idol, etc (Yajurveda 40:9)

Those who worship visible things born of the prakrti, such as the earth, trees, bodies (human and the like) in place of God are enveloped in still greater darkness, in other words, they are extremely foolish, fall into an awful hell of pain and sorrow, and suffer terribly for a long time." (Yajur Veda 40:9.)

Then why to worship and glorify the non-~Vedic Gods in place of Vedic God when Veda bars such activities and it also warns people who indulge in such activities are enveloped in still greater darkness, in other words, they are extremely foolish, fall into an awful hell of pain and sorrow, and suffer terribly for a long time. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar
