The three states are ~ waking, dream, and deep sleep. The ‘I’ is present only in waking or dream(duality) and ‘I’ is absent in deep sleep (nonduality).
The waking is as false as a dream. In all the three states consciousness pervades in everything and everywhere through and through.
The three states appear from the ignorance of the Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness and disappear with the Self- knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.
The mind appears from the non-cognition of consciousness and disappears with its recognition.
The moment you realize that the three states are created out of consciousness, there is no ignorance. One has to know consciousness is everything and everything is nothing but consciousness.
Recognize the ‘Self’ as the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness and realize the world in which you exist is nothing but consciousness. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar
