Grasping the Soul, the Self hidden by the illusory universe or Maya depends on the capacity of the seeker to grasp it.
You have to mentally draw your attention back every time it turns to the dualistic illusion (I) and fix it on the Soul the Self."
Remember this: ~
The ‘I’ is not the Self.
The ‘I’ is illusory.
The Self is the Soul, which witnesses the coming and going of the ‘I’.
The Soul is permanent and eternal only the ‘I’ appears and disappears.
The ‘I’ becomes Soul in deep sleep.
The Soul becomes ‘I’ in the waking experience.
The ‘I’ is not the witness.
The 'I' is an object to the Soul, the 'Self' which is the subject.
The Soul is the witness of the ‘I’, which comes and goes.
Holding the ‘I’ as the witness is a great error.
The Soul, the Self is hidden by the dualistic illusion never changes, but the changes take place within the dualistic illusion.
The dualistic illusion becomes the non-dualistic reality in deep sleep and deep sleep becomes the dualistic illusion in waking.
The one that becomes the dualistic illusion and one that becomes the non-dualistic reality, is the Soul, the Self, which is present in the form of consciousness.
Grasping the truth hidden by the dualistic illusion depends on the capacity of the seeker to grasp it. People are conditioned and programmed to grasp only the dualistic truth.: ~
