Advaita is God in truth. Advaita is the fullness of consciousness.+

The universe in which you exist itself is a myth.  You are seeking truth within the myth. Your experience of birth, life, death, and the world is within the myth.

Unless you realize what is a myth and what is the truth you will never able to realize the truth is hidden by the myth.

The Soul   appears as the universe and the universe disappears as the Soul.  The Soul is the universe and the universe is the Soul.  The universe is merely an illusion created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.  The illusion and the reality are nothing but consciousness. Thus, consciousness alone is real and eternal.

Till you realize the whole universe an illusion you will not be able to realize the ‘Self’ hidden by the universe.
In fact, Sage Sankara states a paradox- the universe is and is not. It is neither real nor unreal. It leads us to recognize the existence of Maya (illusion). He thinks that the world is illusory from one perspective and from the second it is nothing but Brahman(God), Itself in manifestation. This apparent world is Maya and has its basis in Brahman, the Eternal. It looks as real. It has names and forms and actually, it is not real In the light of true knowledge, it disappears and Self-alone shines as real. However, Sage Sri, Sankara's Mayavada has not been accepted by many preachers and philosophers.
When Sage Sankara says clearly, the universe is not real. He says that Brahman and Atman are one. The ultimate and the Absolute Truth is the Self, which is one though appearing as many in different individuals. The individual has no reality. Only the Soul, the innermost Self is Real; the rest, mental and physical are but passing appearances, then it indicates the form (waking or duality or mind) is unreal and the formless soul (consciousness or soul) is real. Therefore, only Atman is real because there is no second thing that exists other than Atman, which is in the form of consciousness.
Remember: ~
Ashtavakra Gita: ~ “The universe rises from the Soul, the innermost Self like bubbles from the sea. Thus know the ‘Self’ to be One and in this way enter into the state of dissolution."
Sage Sankara said: ~A.A~ 88. When the whole universe, movable and immovable, is known to be Atman (consciousness), and thus the existence of everything else is negated, where is then any room to say that the body is Atman?
That is why Sage Sankara says: ~ VC-63. Without causing the objective universe to vanish and without knowing the truth of the ‘Self’ how is one to achieve Liberation by the mere utterance of the word Brahman? — It would result merely in an effort of speech.
What is the use of saying ‘I AM THAT’ without knowing what the ‘Self’ is in actuality? Without knowing the truth of the Self, without realizing the truth of the world in which you exist it is impossible to realize the truth beyond the form, time, and space. By a mere utterance of the word ‘I AM THAT', the truth will not be revealed.
Sage Sankara: ~VC~ if the universe is true, let it then be perceived in the state of deep sleep also. As it is not at all perceived, it must be unreal and false like dreams.
That is why Sage Sankara declaration: ~ “Brahman is the truth The World is Unreal everything is Truly Brahman and nothing else has any value.
Sage Sankara says: ~ ‘What is accepted without a proper inquiry will not lead to the final Goal. (Commentary on Vedanta Sutra)
Sage Sankara says: ~ “The exercise in discrimination between real and unreal and renunciation of the false is real meditation, then why you are indulging in other types of meditation.
Those who tell you that Brahman is unity, that you can get it only by intuition, that you should not reason, you should not question or inquire, are deluding you. Verification must come by thought.

Second Mundaka - Chapter 2 (11) - That immortal Brahman alone is before, that Brahman is behind, that Brahman is to the right and left. Brahman alone pervades everything above and below; this universe is that Brahman alone.

Remember:~

Advaita means the Soul, the I Self, which is second to none. The Soul, which is present in the form of the Spirit or the consciousness, is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.

Advaita is the nature of God in truth, the Soul, the Self. Advaita is God in truth. Advaita is the fullness of consciousness.

Rig Veda:~ 'Prajnanam Brahma'- Consciousness is the ultimate reality or Brahman or God in truth.

Yajurveda – chapter- 32:~ God is Supreme Spirit.
Vedas and Upanishad confirm the Soul, the innermost Self, is present in the form of the Spirit or the consciousness.
Rig Veda: ~ The Atman (Soul or Spirit) is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman the innermost self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)
Bible says: ~ “God is a Spirit, and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth (John 4:24)”,
The Spirit is the root element of the universe. The Spirit is present in the form of the Soul, the Self. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness. From the Spirit, the universe comes into existence. In the Spirit, the universe resides. And into the Spirit, the universe is dissolved. The Spirit is the parent of all that is there is.
Even Bhagavad Gita says: ~ Brahmano hi pratisthaham- Brahman (God) is considered the all-pervading consciousness which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material (Gita 14.27)
If God is a formless Spirit, then how does the man know God created the world? There is no proof. If the man had seen God creating the world, he could admit it, but how could he have seen God before he came into existence? (i.e. were created).
Jesus said:~Do not throw your pearls before pigs, lest they trample them underfoot and turn to attack you. (Matthew -7:6)
Jesus meant -Knowledge of the Spirit or God Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana (pearls) should not be given to the ignorant populace (pigs).

Remember:~
Advaita is universal. Advaita is not for sale. Do not buy Advaita from the spiritual supermarket. Advaita is the nature of the Soul, the Self. The world in which you exist is created out of single stuff. That single stuff is consciousness. Knowledge of the single stuff is Advaitic wisdom. Advaitic truth is very simple, but it is very difficult to realize because you have accumulated mental garbage from different sources in the name of Advaita.
Until you discard all the accumulated knowledge you will never be able to realize the Advaitic truth, which is beyond the form, time, and space. The Advaita is the nature of the Soul, the 'Self' shines on its own awareness when wisdom dawns.
The Advaita is the Soul is the cause and the support of all that exists as the world in which we exist. The Advaita is present in the form of consciousness.
