When the ‘Self’ is not you but the birthless and deathless Soul then why you are thinking of your birth, life, and death. Self-realization is to realize the ‘Self’ is not you but the Self is birthless and deathless because the Self is the formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.
People think there is life after death. The one which is born lives and dies is not the Self. The one which born, lives, and dies in this world, is within the dualistic illusion therefore whatever happens within the dualistic illusion is bound to be an illusion.
What is the use of arguing on the base of the birth entity, which is not the Self?
What is the use of knowing what happens after death when the Self is birthless?
What is the use of thinking of heaven and hell when the ‘Self ‘is not an individual and it is never born and never dies?
Your individual experience of birth, life, death, and the world is nothing to do with the Soul because your individual experience of birth, life, death, and the world is merely an illusion created out of the Soul, the Self, which is present in the form of consciousness.
Until you hold the Self as ‘I’ or you, you will never be able to realize your existence as a person is a reality within the illusory universe or Maya. The dualistic illusion or Maya, which is present in the form of the ‘I', hides the Soul, the ‘Self’ because the illusory universe or Maya is created out of the Soul.
Since you stuck up with the ‘I-centric’ or ‘You-centric’ gurus and their teaching, your quest is misguided. Since you sentimentally and emotionally attached to the ‘I-centric’ and ‘You-centric’ Gurus and stubborn attitude to discard their teaching you will not be able to transcend from dualistic illusion to non-dualistic reality.
Until you stick to the emotional hell of the ‘I-centric knowledge, you will not be able to realize the paradise of Advaita. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar
