By giving up thoughts the ignorance will not vanish.+

By giving up thoughts the ignorance will not vanish. Without getting rid of the ignorance the ‘I’ will prevail as a reality.
The ‘I’ itself is ignorance. Get rid of ignorance instead of getting rid of thoughts. Perfect understanding of ‘what is what’ helps to get rid of ignorance.
The thoughts come to the dream entity (thinker) within the dream world and the dream becomes unreal when the waking takes place.
The thoughts that come to you (thinker) within the waking world become unreal when you realize the Self is not you but the Self is the Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness.
Remember, the thought, thinker, and the world in which the thinker exists are created out of a single clay and that single clay is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
Thoughts are nothing to do with the Soul, the ‘Self’, which is ever formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.
Without the form, time, and space the thought will not be formed. The thought rises only in the domain of form, time, and space.

Realizing the world in which you exist is nothing but an illusion created out of consciousness.

Remember:~

The thoughts come to you, not to the Soul, the ‘Self’. you are the thinker. The Soul is not the thinker because the Soul is an ever formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.

Some Gurus say simply ask yourself: ~

To whom do these thoughts come?

Find out the source of your thoughts?

All these thought-based teachings will not yield Advaitic wisdom because they are only knowledge based on form, time, and space.

The Advaitic truth is beyond the form, time, and space.

The thoughts arise only in the domain of form, time, and space. The thoughts come to you because you exist within the domain of form, time, and space. You are the thinker. You are the false self within the false experience. Without 'you' the thoughts will not arise.

In the dream, the thoughts come to the dream entity. The dream entity is a thinker within the dream. The dream becomes unreal when the waking takes place. Similarly, the waking becomes unreal when wisdom dawns. The wisdom dawns when you realize the ‘Self’ is not you, but the ‘Self’ is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

If the ‘Self’ is not you then what is the use of asking yourself:~

To whom do these thoughts come? Find out the source of your thoughts?.

The thoughts come to you, not to the Soul, the ‘Self’ because the Soul is the ever formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.

On the standpoint of the Soul, the Self, the form, time, and space are merely an illusion.

If the form, time, and space are merely an illusion then you, your thoughts, and the world in which you exist are merely an illusion.

Thus, what is the use of finding out about the thoughts which come to you, not to the Soul, the ‘Self’?

Thus, Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana, or Atma Gnana is necessary to realize the truth, which is beyond the form, time, and space. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

You cannot see God in truth through your physical eyes then why do you waste your time debating about your personal Gods.+

You cannot see God in truth through your physical eyes then why do you waste your time debating about your personal Gods with forms and names.

Yajurveda – chapter- 32:~God is Supreme Spirit has no ‘Pratima’ (idol) or material shape. God cannot be seen directly by anyone. God pervades all beings and all directions.

Sage Sankara’s wisdom is nothing to do with orthodox Advaita. Sage Sankara is the only sage who has final authority on the Advaitic truth. The Advaitic truth is rational truth and scientific truth without dogma.

Sage Sankara pointed out those rituals could in no way bring about wisdom, much less Moksha.

The Advaitic orthodoxy is not the means to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. Advaitic orthodoxy is meant for the ignorant populace that is unfit to grasp the highest truth. The Advaitic orthodoxy is nothing to do with the ultimate truth or Brahman.

All sect-based beliefs are dualistic and unphilosophical nothing to do with the ultimate truth or Brahman. In spirituality, the ultimate truth is God. Thus, the Advaitic orthodoxy is a sect is nothing to do with the Advaitic wisdom of the Sage Sankara. Advaitic orthodox sect is dualistic.

Sage Sankara says orthodoxy is meant for the ignorant populace.

All the personal Gods with form and names are based on blind faith or belief within the domain of the form, time, and space. Whatever belongs to form, time and space are the dualistic illusion. Thus, the Gods with forms and names are bound to be a falsehood.

Bhagavad Gita: ~ Brahmano hi pratisthaham ~ Brahman (God) is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27).

When Bhagavad Gita says, God is considered the all-pervading consciousness which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material then nothing has to be accepted as God other than consciousnes.

Religious Gods are based on blind faith or belief. One must realize God in truth.

Lord Krishna Says Ch ~V: ~ “Those who know the ‘Self’ in truth." The last two words (tattvataha) are usually ignored by pundits, but they make all the difference between the ordinary concept of God and the truth about God.

The dualistic worship of "God” is only for the ignorant populace. The God in truth is only Atman, the innermost ‘Self’. In reality, there is no duality, no differentiation. Only Atman exists.

Vedas and Upanishad confirm the Soul, the Self, is present in the form of the Spirit or the consciousness.

Rig Veda: ~ 'Prajnanam Brahma'- Consciousness is the ultimate reality or Brahman or God in truth.

Do not accept any other God other than the Soul. The Soul is God in truth,  Nothing is real but the Soul, which present in the form of consciousness. Nothing Matters but realize  God in truth. God in truth is everywhere and in everything. Let these words be inscribed in your subconscious.

God in truth is hidden by the illusory universe. God in truth alone is real and eternal and all else is an illusion.:

Brahman is merely a word to indicate the ultimate truth or God in truth.  The ultimate truth itself is God in truth.

Rig Veda: ~ The Atman (Soul or Spirit) is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman the innermost self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)

Bible says: ~ “God is a Spirit, and they that worship God must worship God in spirit and in truth (John 4:24)”,

The Spirit is the root element of the universe. The Spirit is present in the form of the Soul, the Self. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness. From the Spirit, the universe comes into existence. In the Spirit, the universe resides. And into the Spirit, the universe is dissolved. The Spirit is the parent of all that is there is.

Even Brihadaranyaka Upanishad: ~ Brahman (God) is present in the form of the Athma, and it is indeed Athma itself.

There is a clear-cut idea of God in the Vedas, Upanishads, and Bhagavad Gita. And also there is a clear-cut idea of what not to worship as God in place of God in truth. Thus, it proves on Vedic perspective the Puranic Gods are not Vedic Gods.

The Soul is God in truth, which is the cause of the dualistic illusion and it itself is uncaused.

The Soul is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth. The Soul is in the form of consciousness. The Soul is Self -evident. It is not established by extraneous proofs. It is not possible to deny the Soul because it is the very essence of the one who denies it. The Soul is the basis of all kinds of knowledge, presuppositions, and proofs. The Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness (Spirit), is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Yogi when he finds the yoga is inadequate and useless to realize the 'Self' he must drop yoga and take up the path of Gnana.+

Manduka Upanishad:~ Yoga is in the sphere of duality and is unnecessary to one who knows non-duality

Sage Sankara said:~ Neither by the practice of yoga nor philosophy, nor by good works nor by learning, does liberation come, but only through the realization that Atman and Brahman are one in no other way. (1) Vivekachoodamani v 56, pg. 25

Lord Krishna confesses that the oldest wisdom of India (our true Advaitic wisdom) has been lost: people misinterpret and falsify it today as they did then. It is not yoga but the philosophic truth. But nobody knows it. The teachers of philosophy and leaders of mysticism or religion do not want to inquire into truth and have no time for it. (Gita –Chap- IV-v.2)

In Gita Chap.IV where Lord Krishna says: ~ "This yoga has been lost for ages" the word yoga refers to Gnana yoga, not other yogas: the force of the word this is to point this out.

Lord Krishna describes some of the other yogas but devotes this chapter separately to Gnana Yoga. So one sees even in those ancient days people did not care for Advaita; they wanted religion; hence, Gnana got lost. That is why Krishna calls it "the supreme secret." Krishna points out that the yoga must-see "Brahman in action."

Gita Chap.IV: "He who achieves perfection in Yoga finds the Self in time." This means that after his yoga is finished, he begins the inquiry into ultimate truth, and in due course, this inquiry produces the realization of the universal Spirit as the result.

Thus, yogi when he finds the yoga is inadequate and useless to realize the 'Self' he must drop yoga and take up the path of Gnana.

Swami Vivekananda: ~ ‘Jñāna Yoga is divided into three parts. First: hearing the truth--that the Atman is the only reality and that everything else is Maya. Second: reasoning upon this philosophy from all points of view. Third: giving up all further argumentation and realizing the truth. This realization comes from being certain that Brahman is real and everything else is unreal.

Lord Krishna Says Ch. V:~ “Those who know the ‘Self’ in truth.". The last two words (tattvataha) are usually ignored by pundits, but they make all the difference between the ordinary concept of God and the truth about God.

Sage Sankara says:~  Yoga is not the means of liberation (page 132-133 - Commentary on Brhadaranyakopanishad.

In Sutra Bashya and Manduka: - The Samadhi and sleep are identical.

Brihad Upanishad: does not advocate Samadhi.

Sage Sankara in the commentary to "Brahma Sutras:- " "The highest beatitude is not to be attained by Yoga." (Sacred Books of East Series page 298 Vol.1.) And he also says Samadhi is the same as sleep (p.312) ---which indicates that yoga is not the means to Self-realization. And yogic Samadhi is not nondual Self-awareness.

Panchadasi: ~  the impossibility of yoga arrives at a successful end to its practices. (P.509 v, 109)

Bhagavan Buddha gave up his austerities of yoga as impossible and useless. (Page.70/71 "Buddhism in Translation” by Warren)

Bhagavan Buddha got enlightenment only after he gave up Yoga. Unless one exercises his reason--there is no chance of getting the truth.

There is no need for any practice to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman or God. Perfect understanding assimilation of ‘what is what’ is very much necessary to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman or  God in truth. : ~Santthosh Kumaar

The Soul, the Self cannot be seen directly by anyone. The Soul is hidden by the 'I', which the dualistic illusion or Maya.+

Bhagavad Gita: ~ Brahmano hi pratisthaham ~ Brahman (God in truth) is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27).

Rig Veda:~ 'Prajnanam Brahma' - Consciousness is the ultimate reality or Brahman or God in truth.

All is consciousness. The whole universe is consciousness. From consciousness, the universe comes. When the universe disappears, consciousness still remains without form, time, and space.

The Soul, the Self cannot be seen directly by anyone. The Soul is hidden by the 'I', which the dualistic illusion or Maya.

The Soul, the Self is prior to the appearance of the 'I' and the Soul is the cause of the 'I' and it itself is uncaused.
The Soul is present in the form of consciousness. The nature of consciousness is non-dualistic awareness.
People's approach is more practical, and they stuck with the reality of the world, they take it as real. That is why all the confusion.
The look of an object will depend upon the medium through which the observer views it. In fact, our mental and intellectual conditions determine the world, observed and experienced. The commoner viewing the world will see differently from a Gnani viewing the same world. Each one interprets the world that they see in terms of their existing knowledge. The commoner sees everything based on the ego, therefore, experiences the birth, life, death, and the world as a reality, whereas a Gnani sees everything as consciousness and he is fully aware of the fact that, there is no second thing that exists other than the Soul or consciousness. Thus, all the egocentric knowledge has to be bifurcated to realize the ultimate truth, which is beyond form, time, and space.
The world in which we exist is nothing but an illusion created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
The whole universe is nothing but the Soul. Therefore, there is no second thing that exists other than the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
It is not as if something that was not consciousness suddenly becomes consciousness. Rather, "knowing the truth” means the removal of the ignorance about one's own existence as consciousness. Thus, to "know the truth” is to "be consciousness."
Consciousness is ever-present. Without consciousness, the world, in which you exist ceases to exist. Consciousness is Self-evident. It is not established by extraneous proofs. It is not possible to deny consciousness, because it is the very essence of the one who denies it. Consciousness is the basis of all kinds of knowledge, presuppositions, and proofs. Consciousness is everything. Thus, consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

All the Gurus of the east and west misdirected your quest of truth by glorifying the Self as ‘I’ or ‘you’.+

All the Gurus of the east and west misdirected your quest of truth by glorifying the Self as ‘I’ or ‘you’.

First, realize the Self is not you and the ‘Self is not within you. You are bound by the experience of birth, life, death, and the world whereas the ‘Self are birthless and deathless because it is a formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.
The Soul is the Self. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness. The consciousness is the cause of the world in which you exist and it itself is uncaused. Consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.

On the standpoint of the Soul, the innermost Self the world in which you exist is merely an illusion. Thus, the world in which exists hides the Soul, which is God in truth.
Till you think the ‘Soul, the Self’ is within you, you will never be able to realize God. God is not limited to you but it pervades in everything and everywhere in the world in which you exist.

You are with the body. You are born in this world. You are living in this world and you are going to die in this world. The world itself is an illusion.
When the ‘Self’ is not you but the ‘Self is the Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness then what is the use of discussing about the birth, life, death,
and the world because the one which is born, lives, and dies is not the ‘Self'. The Soul is birthless and deathless because it is a formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.
You are the birth entity. Your existence is limited to form, time and space. Your religion, your religious Gods your beliefs, your religious rituals and prayers, your race, your nationality are nothing to do with the Soul, the ‘Self’ because the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness itself is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God.
It is not you have to establish in consciousness but by realizing you, and your experience of the world is nothing but an illusion created out of the consciousness the Self-awareness raise in the midst of the dualistic illusion.

Mentally reduce the world in which you exist into consciousness by realizing the world in which you exist is nothing but consciousness. If everything is consciousness then how can anything exist which is not consciousness?
When the conviction about consciousness becomes firm then everything falls into the right slot.
Self-realization is very much necessary to realize the world is an illusion. Until and unless you realize the Self is not you but the Self is the Soul Self-realization is an impossibility.

Remember:~

Those Gurus who pose themselves as Gnanis are not Gnanis. Many pretending they are Self-realized and commercialized spirituality are nothing but frauds.
All the Advaitic Gurus of the east and west and also past and present propagate Advaita on the dualistic perspective and orthodox standpoint.
A Gnani never identifies himself as a Guru or a Yogi or someone disciple. The one who accepts himself as a Guru or someone’s disciple is not a Gnani.
Sage Sankara: ~ "Though I wear these robes of a Sanyasin, it is only for the sake of bread."
All those who were the sanyasin robes are wearing it for the sake of bread belongs to the religion; they are nothing to do with the Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. There is no need to criticize and condemn the gurus, yogis, and swamis because they are needed for the welfare of ignorant masses in the dualistic world.
So, Sage Sankara wore a Guru's robe only for the sake of the ignorant. So he was identified as Guru with parampara by religious people. For the truth seekers, Sage Sankara is a Brahma Gnani.
Sage Sankara himself said: ~ A Gnani "bears no outward mark of a holy man.
A Gnani never identifies himself as a Guru or a Yogi or someone disciple. The one who accepts himself as a Guru or someone’s disciple is not a Gnani.
Ashtavakra Samhita: ~ "The man of knowledge (Gnani), though living like an ordinary man, is contrary to him and only those like him understand his state.
Advaitic wisdom or Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana will interest only a few people; the rest are interested in Religion, yoga other paths, and pleasure hunting. :~Santthosh Kumaar

Renouncing the 'I' means renouncing ignorance because 'I' itself is ignorance.+

Renouncing the 'I' means renouncing ignorance because 'I' itself is ignorance. 'I' is present in the form of the mind. The mind is present in the form of the illusory universe. The illusory universe appears as the waking or dream (duality).

If you renounce the ‘I’ then you are renouncing the ignorance. Some Gurus say do not be anything not even I AM, the ignorance will not vanish.

The ‘Self is neither you nor your body nor the world in which you exist. The Self is the Soul the cause of the universe. The Soul, the Self is hidden by the universe. It is hidden by the universe because the universe is a dualistic illusion or Maya created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
Those who base the Soul as ‘I’ or ‘IAM’ will never be able to cross the threshold of ignorance.
Remember:~
When the ‘Self’ is not ‘I’ or ‘you’ but the ‘Self is the Soul then what is the use of saying I am not the body, I am not the mind, I am not this or I am not that. What is the use of saying ‘I AM THAT’ -without knowing what the ‘Self’ is in actuality?
Without knowing the truth of the Self, without realizing the truth of the world in which you exist it is impossible to realize the truth hidden by the illusory form, time, and space. By a mere utterance of the word ‘I AM THAT'- the truth will not be revealed.
Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is nothing to do with the ‘I-centric' or You-centric’ Gurus and their teachings.
Remember, the ‘I’ is not an individual because the ‘I’ is the whole universe. Limiting the ‘I’ to individuality is the cause of experiencing the dualistic illusion as a reality?

The nature of the ‘I’ is the nature of the mind.
The nature of the mind is the nature of the universe.
The nature of the universe is the nature of the waking.
The nature of waking is the nature of the illusion.
Thus, it is necessary to study the nature of the ‘I’ to unfold the mystery of the universe.
All the teachings limit the ‘I’ to an individual and glorify the ‘I’ without knowing what this ‘I’ supposed to be in actuality. All ‘I’ based teachings are inadequate and useless for the serious seeker of truth.
If you are seeking truth nothing but the truth must discard without mercy such teaching in order to progress in your spiritual quest.
The seeker must know the ‘I’ is not limited to individuality. The seeker has to see the ‘I’ as the universe, in order to overcome ignorance. When the Advaitic wisdom dawns, then the ignorance vanishes.
When ignorance vanishes and the dualistic illusion (universe) you used to think as reality becomes unreal. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

The ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth is nondual and it is hidden by the dualistic illusion or Maya it can be realized perfect understanding of ‘what is what’.+

Advaita is the treasure hidden by the Dvaita. Advaita is the Soul, the Self, and Dvaita is the ‘I’. Advaita is present in the form of consciousness. Dvaita is present in the form of the universe.

The ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth is nondual and it is hidden by the dualistic illusion or Maya it can be realized perfect understanding of ‘what is what’.

Sage Sankara says: ~ You must follow the right directions, the truth of the Atman, the Self, which is buried under Maya can be reached by discrimination between the Soul, the Self, and the dualistic illusion or Maya (universe).
Sage Sankara: ~ “VC~ All this universe which through ignorance appears as of diverse forms, is nothing else but Brahman (Consciousness) which is absolutely free from all the limitations of Maya.
When you finally realize the ‘‘Self’ ‘is not you but the ‘‘Self’’ is the Soul then you will realize the world in which you exist is merely an illusion created out of the Soul. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness.
Sage Sankara: ~ VC-63- "Without knowing and examining the universe, one can’t know the Truth, as the idea that the external world exists, won't go. It can go only by an inquiry into the nature of the external world.
Sage Sankara says: ~ “What is accepted without a proper inquiry will not lead a person to the final goal. On the contrary, such acceptance will result only in evil, in something detrimental to our spiritual progress.
Sage Sankara says:~ VC-47- All the effects of ignorance, root, and branch, are burnt down by the fire of knowledge, which arises from discrimination between these two—the Self and the non-Self.
Until you think you are an individual separate from the world and the world that existed prior to you and you are born in it afterward the ignorance will prevail as a reality. Till ignorance is there the universe prevails as reality.
Sage Sankara says: ~ “The exercise in discrimination between real and unreal and renunciation of the false is real meditation, then why you are indulging in other types of meditation.

Sage Sankara says:~ A buried treasure is not uncovered by merely uttering the words: “Come forth.” You must follow the right directions, dig, remove the stones and earth from above it, and then make it your own. In the same way, the pure truth of the Atman, which is buried under Maya and the effects of Maya, can be reached by meditation, contemplation, and other spiritual disciplines but never by subtle arguments.

Perfect understanding and realization of 'what is what’ leads to Self-awareness. By holding onto theories one remains in the realm of duality. You have to mentally go on dropping what is not the truth through deeper Self-search.
Finally when you become aware of the fact that, your ego, your body, and the world are one in essence then there is Self-awareness in the midst of duality.

Remember: ~ All is consciousness. The whole universe is consciousness. From consciousness, the universe comes. When the universe disappears, consciousness still remains without form, time, and space. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Sage Sankara's Advaitic wisdom is pure spirituality or Adyathma.+

Adyatma is nothing to do with religious sect or creed and religious belief. Adyatma is pure spirituality. Knowledge of Atma is Adyatma. Advaita is Adyatma.

Adyatma is the knowledge of the truth beyond the form, time, and space. Bifurcate religion, yoga, and theoretical philosophy and based the truth on the Athma it is Adyathma.

Adyatma is based on the ultimate truth which is based on the Atman or Spirit, which is the Self.

Sage Sankara's Advaitic wisdom is pure spirituality or Adyathma.

Remember:~

A scholar is proud that he has accumulated so much knowledge. A Gnani is humble that he knows no more. A Gnani is neither anyone’s gurus nor anyone’s disciple.

All your accumulated knowledge is mental Garbage is no use in the quest for truth.
The seeker has to discard all the egocentric accumulated knowledge and start afresh to acquire the Advaitic wisdom of Sage Sankara.
A perfect understanding of ‘what is what’ through deeper thinking and reasoning helps to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.
The truth is very simple but it is very difficult to grasp because of ignorance. You have to only realize the world in which you exist is created out of single clay. And that single clay is the Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness. Knowledge of the single clay is Advaita.
Thus, you and your body and the world in which you exist are nothing but consciousness because they are merely an illusion created out of the consciousness. A perfect understanding of ‘what is what’ is needed.
A Gnani can point at the sky, but the seeing of the star is the seeker's own work.
It is necessary to reflect on the same truth again and again till it becomes reality. One needs to constantly reflect on the subject until he gets a firm conviction of what is what. Words are needed until one gets a firm conviction of ‘what is what’. People need reading and hearing the words think reason and reflect deeply and reach the ultimate end.
The truth-seeker seeks only the truth. The inner Sage will guide you with love. Your sincerity and seriousness lead you to your inner core.
Katha Upanishads: ~ This Atman is attained by him alone whom It chooses. To such a one Atman reveals Its own form. (II -23-P-20)
All the chosen ones will get freedom from experiencing the illusion (duality) as a reality. All the seekers of truth are chosen ones.
Millions are searching for truth, but one in million will realize it. If you are the truth seeker then you are one from that million.
It takes time for the seeker to gain the perfect understanding of ‘what is truth’ and ‘’what is untruth’.
Start your journey even you may find it difficult in the first. As you go on reading the post your subconscious will start dropping the dualistic egocentric knowledge and start accepting the Soul-centric Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.
Everyone’s inner work is on. The Soul, the inner Guru (Self) guides us all till we get the stillness of its non-dual true nature.

As you raft upon which you cross the swift river to get to the other side; once you are on the other side of the shore; there is no longer any need to carry the raft. The far shore is the reality, when you reach, you can see quite clearly that there was never any river at all.

Remember:~

A donkey with a load of holy books is still a donkey. A person who mastered scriptural knowledge is still a scholar, not a Gnani.

Some people pass their opinion based on their accumulated knowledge thinking their accumulated knowledge as the ultimate truth but their ‘I’ know attitude merely brings on a little personal enjoyment to them but it is no good for Self-realization.
Atmic path is not the path of exchange of views and opinion but the path of realization of the truth, which is beyond the form, time, and space.
Swami Vivekananda:~ The wicked are always looking for defects. Flies come and seek for the ulcer, and bees come only for the honey in the flower. Do not follow the way of the fly but that of the bee.
Some people just want to exhibit their accumulated knowledge accumulated from here and there. They think what they know is the ultimate truth.
They think whatever they propagate is the ultimate truth. The question never occurs to them, “Is what I know is really the truth?
Mundaka Upanishad 1:2:8:~ “Remaining in the fold of ignorance and thinking “we are extremely wise and learned,” the fools with boastful nature ramble about like the blind led by the blind alone.”
No one can teach anybody. The wisdom is hidden within the world in which you exist. A Gnani can only show the way that much is the work of a Gnani. A Gnani only guides the seekers to apply their own reason and realize the truth, which is beyond the form, time, and space. When the seeker learns to view and judge and reason the three states on the base of the Soul, the truth will start unfolding on its own.
First, the seeker may find it difficult to use soulcentric reason but gradually it will become easy.
Instead of finding fault first realize what the Self is in actuality. Honest introspection will reveal that all fault lies with “you” and “your "own perceptions and attitudes. If there is an error in understanding what 'Self' is in actuality it is in “you". Correcting this and changing to a Soulcentric attitude will change your perception and then the Soul; the 'Self' will reveal its formless, timeless, and spaceless true nature. If you are unable to grasp the truth hidden by the ‘I’ then you will never be able to grasp nonduality or Advaita. :~Santthosh Kumaar
