If you realize the Soul is the ultimate truth and the universe is an illusion created out of the Soul with firm conviction then you have acquired Advaitic Gnana.+

Sage Sankara: ~ “VC~ All this universe which through ignorance appears as of diverse forms, is nothing else but Brahman (Consciousness) which is absolutely free from all the limitations of Maya.

When you finally realize the ‘‘Self’ ‘is not you but the ‘‘Self’’ is the Soul then you will realize the world in which you exist is merely an illusion created out of the Soul. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness.

Sage Sankara says: ~VC-47- All the effects of ignorance, root, and branch, are burnt down by the fire of knowledge, which arises from discrimination between these two—the Self and the non-Self.

Sage Sankara says clearly, the universe is not real. He says that Brahman and Atman are one. The ultimate and the Absolute Truth is the Self, which is one though appearing as many in different individuals. The individual has no reality. Only the Soul, the Self is Real; the rest, mental and physical are but passing appearances, then it indicates the form (waking or duality or mind) is unreal and the formless Soul (consciousness or Soul) is real. Therefore, only Atman is real because there is no second thing that exists other than Atman, which is in the form of consciousness.

All is consciousness. The whole universe is consciousness. From consciousness, the universe comes. When the universe disappears, consciousness still remains without form, time, and space.

Until you think you are an individual separate from the world and the world that existed prior to you and you are born in it afterward the ignorance will prevail as a reality.

Until ignorance is there the universe prevails as a reality. Until the universe prevails as a reality the religion thrives.

Chandogya Upanishads: ~ “This universe comes forth from Brahman and will return to Brahman. Verily, all is Brahman. A person is what his deep desire is. It is our deepest desire in this life that shapes the life to come. So let us direct our deepest desires to realize the Self.

Ashtavakra Gita: ~ “The universe rises from the Soul, the innermost Self like bubbles from the sea. Thus know the ‘Self’ to be One and in this way enter into the state of dissolution."

Sage Sankara said:~A.A- 88. When the whole universe, movable and immovable, is known to be Atman (consciousness), and thus the existence of everything else is negated, where is then any room to say that the body is Atman?

The ‘Self’ is not the mind. The mind is present in the form of not the world in which we exist. The world appears as waking or dream (duality) and disappears as deep sleep (nonduality). The ‘Self’ is the Soul. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness. Consciousness pervades in everything and everywhere in all three states. Thus, diversity is created out of single stuff. That stuff is consciousness.

Consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman because there is no second thing that exists other than consciousness. From the standpoint of the Soul, the form, time, and space are one, in essence.

The universe is both real and unreal. It is real because it is a manifestation of consciousness, but is unreal, in the sense, that it is not absolute and eternal like consciousness itself.

People's approach is more practical, and they are stuck with the reality of the universe, they take it as real. That is why all the confusion.

The look of an object will depend upon the medium through which the observer views it. In fact, our mental and intellectual conditions determine the universe, which confronts us, observed, and experienced. The commoner viewing the world will see differently from a Gnani viewing the same world. Each one interprets the world that they see in terms of their existing knowledge. The commoner sees everything based on the ego, therefore, experiences the birth, life, death, and the universe as a reality, whereas a Gnani sees everything as consciousness and he is fully aware of the fact that, there is no second thing that exists other than the Soul or consciousness. Thus, all the egocentric knowledge has to be bifurcated to realize the ultimate truth, which is beyond form, time, and space.

The world in which we exist is nothing but an illusion created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

The whole universe is nothing but the Soul. Therefore, there is no second thing that exists other than the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

It is not as if something that was not consciousness suddenly becomes consciousness. Rather, "knowing the truth” means a removal of the ignorance about one's own existence as consciousness. Thus, to "know the truth” is to "be consciousness."

Consciousness is ever-present. Without consciousness, the universe, in which you exist ceases to exist. Consciousness is Self-evident. It is not established by extraneous proofs. It is not possible to deny consciousness, because it is the very essence of the one who denies it. Consciousness is the basis of all kinds of knowledge, presuppositions, and proofs.

Consciousness is everything. Thus, consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Advaita is present in the form of consciousness. Advaita is the root element of the universe.+

Advaita means the Soul, the I Self, which is second to none. The Soul, which is present in the form of the Spirit or the consciousness, is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God. Advaita is the nature of God, the Soul, the Self. Advaita is God. Advaita is the fullness of consciousness.

Yajurveda – chapter- 32:~ God is Supreme Spirit.

Vedas and Upanishad confirm the Soul, the Self, is present in the form of the Spirit or the consciousness.

Rig Veda: ~ The Atman (Soul or Spirit) is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman the innermost self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)

Rig Veda: ~ 'Prajnanam Brahma'- Consciousness is the ultimate reality or Brahman or God in truth.

Do not accept any other God other than the Soul. The Soul is God in truth,  Nothing is real but the Soul, which present in the form of consciousness. Nothing Matters but realize  God in truth. God in truth is everywhere and in everything. Let these words be inscribed in your subconscious.

God in truth is hidden by the illusory universe. God in truth alone is real and eternal and all else is an illusion.:

Brahman is merely a word to indicate the ultimate truth or God in truth.  The ultimate truth itself is God in truth.

Bible says: ~ “God is a Spirit, and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth (John 4:24)”,

The Spirit is the root element of the universe. The Spirit is present in the form of the Soul, the innermost Self. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness. From the Spirit, the universe comes into existence. In the Spirit, the universe resides. And into the Spirit, the universe is dissolved. The Spirit is the parent of all that is there is.

Even Bhagavad Gita says: ~ Brahmano hi pratisthaham- Brahman (God) is considered the all-pervading consciousness which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material (Gita 14.27)

If God is a formless Spirit, then how does man know God created the world? There is no proof. If man had seen God creating the world, he could admit it, but how could he have seen God before he came into existence? (i.e. were created).

The Spirit is the root element of the universe. The Spirit is present in the form of the Soul, the innermost Self. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness. From the Spirit, the universe comes into existence. In the Spirit, the universe resides. And into the Spirit, the universe is dissolved. The Spirit is the parent of all that is there is.

Jesus said:~Do not throw your pearls before pigs, lest they trample them underfoot and turn to attack you. (Matthew -7:6)

~Jesus meant -Knowledge of the Spirit, which is God in truth. Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana (pearls) should not be given to the ignorant populace (pigs).

Advaita is universal. Advaita is not for sale. Do not buy Advaita from the spiritual supermarket. Advaita is the nature of the Soul, the innermost Self. The world in which you exist is created out of single stuff. That single stuff is consciousness. Knowledge of the single stuff is Advaitic wisdom. To acquire the Advaitic wisdom of Sage Sankara the seeker hast to discard teachings of the Advaitic Gurus of the east and west.+

It really depends on his inborn natural capacity to understand and assimilate Advaitic wisdom.

Sage Sankara’s wisdom is a Self-examiner, to test oneself to discover how near to Gnana he has approached and what progress has already been made on the path and what still remains to be done. It sets up a criterion for Self-judgement. There are millions in search of truth but one in million will be able to grasp it.

Without Sage Sankara, there is no Advaita (nonduality). Since it was mixed up with orthodoxy there is a lot of confusion. I am highlighting all the obstacles, which is blocking one from realizing the ultimate truth or Brahman.

There are so many non-dualistic masters of the east and also from the west who expound Advaitic or non-dualistic knowledge but none of them are helpful to reach the ultimate end.

One has to know and realize the Self is Soul and identify it as his true identity to find liberation from the bondage of the illusion of birth, life, death, and the world(duality). The goal of our life is to find and realize our identity with our Soul, which is our Self.

Sage Sankara said:~ Neither by the practice of yoga nor philosophy, nor by good works nor by learning, does liberation come, but only through the realization that Atman and Brahman are one in no other way. (1) Vivekachoodamani v 56, pg. 25

To come to a more precise understanding of what non-duality is or might mean, we must return to the original linguistic and philosophic backgrounds from which the word has been translated into English.

If we limit a probe of the meaning of non-duality to Hindu Sanskrit literature, we find that the most frequently used term is “Advaita.

Advaita” is not a religious concept. Advaita is the nature of the existence hidden by the form, time, and space. The seeker has to attempt to rule out from the start a false understanding of reality by perfect understanding of ‘what is what’.

The Advaita is hidden by the Dvaita. Advaita is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. Dvaita is the universe.

Advaita is basically a denial; it is literally the negation of the dvaita. That means whatever remains by negating the universe by realizing the universe is created out of single clay and that clay is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, the hidden truth by Dvaita uncovered. Consciousness is the cause of the universe and it itself is uncaused.

Rig Veda: ~ 'Prajnanam Brahma'- Consciousness is the ultimate reality or Brahman or God in truth.

The first step is to distinguish between the real and the unreal. That is to know about the dual and nondual experience. The seeker has to discriminate between real and unreal. It means separating the subject from the object through deeper analysis.

The real is the subject and the unreal is an object. The Advaitic Gurus of the east and west cannot think of the subject because they are unaware of the fact that the subject is hidden by the object.

Without the subject, there is no object. The subject can stay without the object whereas the object is fully dependent on the subject for its existence because the object is nothing but an illusion created out of the subject.

The subject is contained in the object. Consciousness cannot apart from the object because the object is merely an illusion. Thus, the objective illusion has no value because it is non-existent without consciousness.

The dualists regard objects as a reality because they are ignorant have no idea of a subject and hence never seek it. On the Advaitic perspective, the object is also regarded as the subject because the object is nothing but an illusion created out of the subject.

The ice will not form without the water, the cloud will not form without the water, similarly, the world, in which you exist ceases to exist without consciousness.

The world, in which you exist, is created out of single stuff. The Knowledge of the single stuff is Self-Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

The world in which we exist is an object to the Soul, which is the formless subject. The object is created out of the subject. In reality, the subject and object are one, in essence. That essence is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Thus, the world in which we exist is nothing but consciousness, which is the subject.

Thus, the subject alone is real and eternal, the world in which we exist is merely an illusion.

From the standpoint of the Soul, the Self, there is neither the object nor the subject, there is unity in diversity. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Theosophy speaks of 50 to thousands-year intervals between death and rebirth. But all these are imaginations based on the false self.+

People want to know about rebirths. Theosophy speaks of 50 to thousands-year intervals between death and rebirth. But all these are imaginations based on the false self. There is no relation between the standard of measurements of one state of consciousness and another.

All such measurements are hypothetical. It must be distinctly understood that it is not the Soul that comes and goes, but the three states which appear and disappear. The three states are merely an illusion from the standpoint of the formless witness which is the Soul, the ‘Self’

Dalai Lama said: Buddhism need not to be the best religion though it is more scientific and religion and inquisitive. But Buddhism has no answer to certain questions like the existence of Atama (Soul) and rebirth. Dali Lama said that as an individual he believes in rebirth as he had come across a few cases of rebirth. Modern science, Dalai Lama hoped would unearth the mystery behind the rebirth. (In DH –dec-212009-Gulburga).

People who believe in reincarnation and rebirth theories are unaware of the fact that their belief is based on the waking entity, which is the false ‘Self’ within the false experience. The waking entity itself is the false self within the false experience, it means the present experience of birth, life, death, and the world is a falsehood.

Whatever is seen, known, believed, and experienced as the waking entity is bound to be a falsehood, because the Soul, the ‘Self’ is birthless, because it is formless. Therefore, the rebirth and reincarnation theory based on the false self’ is bound to be a falsehood.

People who are caught up with the idea of reincarnation and rebirth theories are not qualified for ‘Self’-Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana because they accepted duality as reality. Birth implies duality and the duality is falsehood from the ultimate standpoint.

Accepting in rebirth and reincarnation theory as reality is accepting false ‘Self’ (waking entity or ego) as real ‘Self’ and false experience (waking) as reality.

Self-realization is an impossibility if one accepts the present waking entity as real ‘Self’ because the ‘Self’ is neither the waking entity nor the ‘Self’ is dream entity, but the ‘Self’ is formless Soul, which witnesses the coming and going of the three states without the physical apparatus.

This imagined theory based on the waking entity (ego) is for that lower mindset which is incapable of grasping the ultimate truth or Brahman.

Deeper Self-search reveals the facts that, the waking experience itself, is an illusion. It means the present experience of birth, life, death, and the world is an illusion.

Thus the reincarnation theory based on the false ‘Self’ within the false experience is bound to be a falsehood. When the waking entity is not the ‘Self’ then whatever theories are based on the waking entity imagined theory.

Remember:~

The rebirth and reincarnation theory is based on the waking entity (ego).

The Soul, the Self has no birth because it is unborn eternal. When birth, life, and death are reality within the illusory universe or Maya then rebirth and reincarnation is a reality within the illusory universe or Maya. Since man has immersed himself in believing the illusory universe as reality, he is unaware of the Soul, the Self, which is hidden by the illusory universe or Maya.

People who are caught up with the idea of reincarnation and rebirth theories are not qualified for Self-Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana because they accepted duality as reality.

People who believe in reincarnation and rebirth theories are unaware of the fact that their belief is based on the waking entity (ego), which is the false self within the false experience.

The three states are impermanent but the soul or consciousness, which is the witness of the three states, is permanent and eternal. in reality, the three states are one in essence. and that essence is consciousness. Therefore there is no second thing that exists other than consciousness.

Thus consciousness (Soul) is second to none.

Thus the reincarnation theory based on the false self within the false experience is bound to be a falsehood.

When the waking entity is not the Self then whatever theories are based on the waking entity imagined theory.

This imagined theory based on the waking entity or ego is for those lower minds set who are incapable of grasping the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.

Only in ignorance, the universe in which we exist is an illusion created out of the Soul, the Self.

The ‘I’ is physical awareness.

The ‘I’ is present only when the mind is present.

When the mind is present then only there is awareness of the form, time, and space.

When the mind is absent then the form, time, and space are absent.

If the form, time, and space are absent then the mind is also absent.

If the form, time, and space are present then only the universe is present.

If the form, time, and space are absent then the universe also is absent.

Remember:~

The universe appears only when the waking appears.

The universe disappears when waking disappears.

The ‘I’ appears along with the waking and ‘I’ disappears along with the waking.

That is why Bhagavad Gita: ~ “The permanent (consciousness) is always there, only the transient ‘I’ comes and goes. (2.18)

The ‘I’ hides the Soul, the Self, which is present in the form of consciousness.

People think the ‘I’ without the body is the Self. The seeker has to understand the fact that ‘I’ is not the Self, but the witness of the ‘I’ is the true Self, which is eternal.

That is why Ashtavakra Gita 16:10:~ “If you desire liberation, but you still say "I," If you feel the ‘Self’ is the ‘I’, You are not a wise man or a seeker. You are simply a man who suffers.

People are stuck with the reality of the ‘I’, which they take it as real because some Gurus have propagated the Self is the ‘I’. is no need to convince such a mindset. The seeker of truth accepts only the truth nothing but the truth.

You, the world in which you exist belong to physical awareness. Physical awareness is not Self-awareness.

Realize you, the world in which you exist is created out of single stuff. That single stuff is consciousness. Knowledge of the single stuff is Advaitic wisdom or Self-knowledge.

The Advaitic wisdom becomes firm in the subconscious then Self-awareness arises on its own.

When the Soul, the Self remains in its own awareness: ~

What is this body?

What is the ego?

What is this world?

What is 'I'?

What is duality?

What is existence, nonexistence, unity, or duality?

What needs us there to say more?

Nothing from the Soul because whatever seems to emanate from it, is non-different from itself. There is no second thing other than the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. One should not mistake Self (Soul) for the ‘I’.

Those who assert the world is a reality, are still in the elementary stages of the preliminary analysis. The world is a reality within the waking experience, but the waking experience is merely an illusion. In the same way, the dream world was a reality within the dream experience. The dream became unreal when the waking took place. The same way the waking becomes unreal when Advaitic wisdom dawns. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

It is of no use in discussing the illusory experience of birth, life, death, and the world in Atmic discussion.+

The truth is not to be argued about because the truth has to be ascertained and realized by the seeker himself. Accumulated knowledge is not a yardstick to judge ‘what is truth’ and ‘what is untruth’.  Until ignorance is there the Advaitic wisdom cannot be gained.

The pursuit of truth is the pursuit of deeper verification.  Mere arguing will take one nowhere. In the Atmic path, the arguments and discussions have no place.

The argumentative attitude has to be discarded if one has to acquire the Advaitic wisdom of Sage Sankara.

That is why Sage Sankara  says:~VC-65- As a treasure hidden underground requires (for its extraction) competent instruction, excavation, the removal of stones and other such things lying above it and (finally) grasping, but never comes out by being (merely) called out by name, so the transparent Truth of the Self, which is hidden by Maya and its effects, is to be attained through the instructions of a knower of Brahman, followed by reflection, meditation, and so forth, but not through perverted arguments.

Therefore, the wise should, as in the case of disease and the like, personally strive by using soulcentric reason. 

The seeker should be receptive to receive the truth beyond the form, time, and space.  His habitual dogmatic approach has to be discarded and he has to have a rational approach if he wants Self-realization. 

Remember:~

It is of no use in discussing the illusory experience of birth, life, death, and the world, which is part and parcel of the dualistic illusion or Maya in Atmic discussion.

The one which is born, lives, and dies in this world is ‘you’. The Self is not you but the Self is the Soul because the Soul is unborn eternal. You and the world in which you exist are limited by the domain of the form, time, and space.

There is nothing to discuss or argue in the Atmic path. Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is knowledge of God in truth one without the second. Where there is no second thing then what is there to argue and discuss. When the reality is nondual the what is there to discuss and what is there to argue.

From the standpoint of the Soul, the Self, the form, time, and space are merely an illusion. If the form, time, and space are an illusion then the ‘I’ is bound to be an illusion.

If the ‘I’ is an illusion then the universe is bound to be an illusion. If the universe is an illusion then you, your experience of birth, life, and death are bound to be an illusion.

The Soul, the Self is hidden by the illusion. It is hidden by the illusion because the Soul is the use of the illusion and it itself is uncaused.

Perfect understanding of ‘what is what is needed to realize the truth, which is hidden by the ‘I’.

What is the use of finding out who you are?’ It is undeniable fact that you are the birth entity born in this world.

You think you are an individual separate from the world. You think the world existed prior to you and you are born in it but you are unaware of the fact that you and your experience of birth, life, death, and the world are a reality within the dualistic illusion or Maya. The dualistic illusion or Maya is present in the form of the ‘I’.

Remember:~

Why you are saying I AM THAT when the Self is not your but the Soul, which is hidden by the ‘I’.

You are saying I AM THAT within the world in which you exist. The world in which you exist is the dualistic illusion or Maya. What is the use of saying I AM THAT within the dualistic illusion or Maya? In reality, there is no second thing that exists other than nondualistic awareness. nondualistic awareness is not ‘I’-awareness. ‘I’-awareness is not Self-awareness.

The dualistic illusion or Maya hides the Self. Realize the ‘Self’ is not you but the Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness.

The dualistic illusion or Maya is present in the form of the ‘I’. The ‘I’ appears and disappears. The ‘Self is not the ‘I’. The Soul, the ‘Self’ is always present is hidden by the ‘I’.:~Santthosh Kumaar

If the waking is unreal then your experience of the birth, life, death, and the world within the waking experience also is unreal (illusion).+

The question is based on the waking entity (you or ego). Whatever is based on the waking entity (ego) is based on the dualistic perspective. 

You have to learn to view the worldview from a non-dualistic perspective then only you will be able to have the Soulcentric view of the worldview. 

In Advaitic Self-awareness, the ego is not considered as ego, even though the ego is present, the body is not considered as a body even though the body is present, the world which confronts him is not considered as world even though the world is present, the duality ceases even though the duality is present, because of wisdom everything is considered as consciousness. Thus, there is conscious oneness.

Only in ignorance, the world in which we exist is an illusion created out of the Soul, the Self. 

The world is both real and unreal. It is real because it is a manifestation of consciousness, but is unreal, in the sense, that it is not absolute and eternal like consciousness itself.

People's approach is more practical, and they stuck with the reality of the world, they take it as real. That is why all the confusion. 

The look of an object will depend upon the medium through which the observer views it. In fact, our mental and intellectual conditions determine the world, observed and experienced. The commoner viewing the world will see differently from a Gnani viewing the same world. Each one interprets the world that they see in terms of their existing knowledge. The commoner sees everything based on the ego, therefore, experiences the birth, life, death, and the world as a reality, whereas a Gnani sees everything as consciousness and he is fully aware of the fact that, there is no second thing that exists other than the Soul or consciousness. Thus, all the egocentric knowledge has to be bifurcated to realize the ultimate truth, which is beyond form, time, and space. 

To say the universe is an illusion without first examining it and inquiring into its nature thoroughly is to delude oneself. This world is common to every one of us; therefore the seeker of truth must begin his inquiry with it. It is only after he has inquired into the nature of the objective world, he realizes the universe which through ignorance appears as of diverse forms, is nothing else but the Soul which is present in the form of consciousness is absolutely free from all the limitations of human thought. The consciousness is the ultimate truth. Ultimate truth means Brahman. The ultimate truth is God in truth. 

Brahman: ~ ‘The English use of the word real as applied to the material world, whereas we Indians use it as applied to unseen Brahman. Hence many errors have arisen in translations from the Sanskrit. 

Brahman: ~ ‘The word Brahman or Sat has no proper equivalent in English. The nearest is ultimate reality or ultimate truth. The west, however, applies reality to individual objects or to the multiplicity of them all: whereas Gnani’s apply it to the non-duality. Brahman is called "That" because it is something not known yet by the seeker. 

It is erroneous to believe the general impression is that the universe disappears to a Gnani, that he sees nothing in Samadhi. Only deluded persons will have such an impression? Nothing is destroyed. Only ignorance disappears and the unreal nature of the universe is exposed. The universe which appears as the waking experience is the dualistic illusion. 

A Gnani has the full and firm conviction that everything is consciousness in the midst of dualistic illusion. The Soul, Self being aware of its true nature in the midst of dualistic illusion is called Self-awareness. 

The universe or the waking experience will not disappear. It is there always but the unreal nature of the waking experience is exposed in the midst of dualistic illusion through Advaitic wisdom. 

Let you be clear on one thing. The world in which you exist is mere a dualistic illusion created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. But in the reality, the world in which you exist neither exists in the past nor exists now nor going to exist in the future. Whatever existed in the past and whatever exists now and whatever is going to exists in the future is merely an illusion created out of consciousness.

All our experience of birth, life, and death is merely an illusion created out of consciousness. The only real thing in the world in which we exist is consciousness, which is the cause of this world and it itself is uncaused.
