Religion propagates Gods based on blind faith or belief as real God whereas scriptures say God in truth is not religious.+

People are misled by their inherited religion which propagates Gods based on blind faith or belief as real God whereas their own sacred scriptures prove that what people believe and worship as Gods are not God in truth.

Upanishads say in effect that: ~ If you believe that the ‘the Soul, the Self’ is one and God (Brahman) is another you cannot understand Truth.

The religion preaches that God is one and the ways to God are many. It simply tries to lead them to darkness with its dogma and idea of many Gods, which is apart from the Self.

People all over the world in the past and present accepted the idea of the existence of God. The fear of the God injected by the religion was the root cause of worship, superstitions, and dogmas. Religious belief is passed on to the populace from one generation to the next generation.

Yajurveda – chapter- 32: ~:~ God is Supreme Spirit has no ‘Pratima’ (idol) or material shape. God cannot be seen directly by anyone. God pervades all beings and all directions. Thus, Idolatry does not find any support from the Vedas.

It is for the seeker to realize what God is supposed to be in actuality. God is hidden by the universe because the universe is merely an illusion created out of God. God is in the form of Athma.

Brihadaranyaka Upanishad: ~ Brahman (God) is present in the form of the Athma, and it is indeed Athma itself.

Rig Veda: ~ The Atman is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman, the Self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)

How can you worship God? That implies two ~ the worshiper and the worshiped, whereas the God is nondual. One can worship his idea of God only or realize his unity with it when he can’t worship it as apart.

When Upanishads and Vedas declare that, “God is present in the form of the Athma, and God is indeed Athma itself” then why accept another God in place of the Atman or worship other than the Atman.

People, who worship the belief-based God, are hallucinating that they become one with such God. Veda and Upanishads condemn worshiping God other than Athma.

Brihadaranyaka Upanishad says: ~ "He who worships the deities as entities entirely separate from him does not know the truth. For the Gods, he is like a pasu (beast)". (1. 4. 10)

Even Bhagavad Gita says: ~ “Brahmano hi pratisthaham- Brahman (God) is considered the all-pervading consciousness which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (Gita 14.27)

When Bhagavad Gita says, God is considered the all-pervading consciousness which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material then nothing has to be accepted other than consciousness a God.

Bhagavad Gita Chapter: ~ “All those whose intelligence has been stolen by material desires, they worship many gods. (7- Verse)

Vedas, Upanishad, and Bhagavad Gita Bible confirm the Soul, the Self, which is present in the form of the Spirit or consciousness is God in truth.

It is for every seeker who is seeking truth must first know what God is supposed to be in actuality according to Vedas and Upanishads and reject all non-Vedic Gods to realize the Atman is real God.

Vedic, Quranic, and Biblical version of Advaita.

Advaita is the universal truth. Advaita is the universal God. All dualistic Gods of belief belong to the dualistic illusion. Realize God right now and right here ~ means right in this very life, not in the next birth or next world.

You may be a Hindu, you may be a Christian, you may be a Buddhist, you may be a Muslim, you may be a Jew but God in truth does not belong to any particular religion because God in truth is universal.

Remember, the ‘Self’ not you but the Soul, which is present in the form of the Spirit or the consciousness. The Soul, the ‘Self’ is neither a Hindu nor a Christian, nor a Buddhist, nor a Muslim because it is the formless timeless, and spaceless existence.

Remember the Soul; the Spirit is God in truth. Religious Gods are based on the belief of mythical Gods. Belief is not God. Religious God cannot be considered as the center because the Soul, the ‘Self’ is the center of all that exists.

Without the Soul the world in which you exist ceases to exist, it means the religious God is dependent on the Soul for his existence. God in truth is only the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Advaita is not a religion. Advaita is not philosophy. Advaita is not yoga. Advaita is the nature of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. Advaita is the Soul itself. Advaita is the ultimate truth. Advaita is Brahman. Advaita is God, the one without the second.

The goal of our life is to find and realize our identity with God, which is the Soul, the Self.

Realize God in truth.

Religious Gods are based on blind belief. Belief is not God. Religious God cannot be considered as the center because the Soul the innermost ‘Self’ is the center of all that exists. Without the Soul the world in which you exist ceases to exist, it means the religious God is dependent on the Soul for his existence. God in truth is only the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Bible says: ~ “God is a Spirit and they that worship God must worship God in spirit and in truth.- (John 4:24)”,

The Spirit is the root element of the universe. The Spirit is present in the form of the Soul, the innermost Self. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness. From the Spirit, the universe comes into existence. In the Spirit, the universe resides. And into the Spirit, the universe is dissolved. The Spirit is the parent of all that is there is.

There is no God but God. There is no God because the world in which we exist is merely an illusion created out of God, the Spirit. Call it with any name God is universal. God belongs to the whole of humanity.

Religion creates separation God is unity in diversity. God is one which the cause of the whole world in which humans exist. There is no God but God means the world in which we exist is an illusion the GOD is the cause of the world is real and eternal. God alone is real and all else is an illusion. There is no second thing that exists other than the Spirit, God thus, God is Advaita.

The Quranic version of Oneness or Advaita.

La illah illa Allah -- No God but Allah.

The meaning of La illaha illallah is simple, it means (La) No (illaha) God (illallah) but Allah.

The meaning of the word Allah is unique unlike English, it is purely singular in the Arabic language and cannot be made female or male despite it being a name which means Allah is free from being HE or SHE. But why scripture uses “he” is another topic up for debate. But La Illaha Illallah means (There is) No God but Allah.

This means there is no God worthy of worship in the universe but the God which is hidden by the universe and is the cause of the universe. Allah is God second to none. Allah is Advaita.

Realize yourself by realizing the Self is not you but the Soul, which is present in the form of the Spirit. The Spirit is God, which is nondual or Advaita.

Religion is regarded as sacred and real by the common people, by the wise as false, and by the rulers as useful.

Religious fanatics never understood the Spiritualistic interpretation of Anal Hak- they thought he is referring to himself as God but it is not so he was referring to the infinite existence hidden by the finite ‘I’ (Universe).

The Soul is the innermost Self. The innermost Self is God. It is not “I AM GOD, but it’s correct to say ‘the SELF IS GOD.

Before saying ‘I AM GOD’ one must realize what ‘God’ is supposed to be in actuality. Only ignorant says ‘I AM GOD’ without knowing what it means.

People say I AM GOD but when God is, how can "I" remain? Only God prevails not I. The ‘I’ exists only in the domain of the illusory form, time, and space whereas the Soul, the Self is formless, timeless, and spaceless existence. The Soul, the Self is God in truth.

There is no God in the domain of the ‘I’ because the ‘I’ is merely an illusory expression of God.

It is erroneous to use the word ‘I’ for the Self, because ‘I’ represents the illusory form, time, and space whereas the Soul, the Self is a formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.

Some people say: "I AM GOD." This presupposes that they have the same miraculous and creative powers of God. They do not, however, display possession of such power. Such is the fallacy of their logic.

People who say “I AM GOD’ are merely repeating like a parrot word, which they have read in their holy books or heard from a wandering monk or fakir. It does not prove that they have realized the ultimate truth or God in truth.

With bookish or hearsay knowledge it is unable to prove that everything is God, which is present in the form of the Spirit. One has to do lots of homework to realize God, the Self.

Jesus’s version of Nonduality or Advaita.

Jesus said: ~ Seek and ye shall find. Knock the doors shall open to you.

Why did Jesus say different things? Owing to the time and the persons, according to their readiness to listen and understand. What Jesus meant was to leave all and follow the ‘Self’; that means to know the ‘Self’ and realize the ‘Self’, which is the Spirit, the God.

The teachings that are being followed by Christians are not the real teachings that Christ gave. The priests have altered his words, added to his teachings, and spoiled them.

Jesus said: ~ Seek and ye shall find. Knock the doors shall open to you.

Gospel Thomas Logian 22: ~ Jesus saw infants being suckled. He said to his disciples, “These infants being suckled are like those who enter the kingdom.”

They said to him, “Shall we then, as children, enter the kingdom?”

Jesus said to them, “When you make the two one, and when you make the inside like the outside and the outside like the inside, and the above like the below, and when you make the male and the female one and the same, so that the male not be male nor the female is female; and when you fashion eyes in the place of an eye, and a hand in place of a hand, and a foot in place of a foot, and a likeness in place of a likeness; then will you enter the kingdom.”

Santthosh Kumaar: ~ “This above passage is Jesus’s version of Nonduality or Advaita. When one realizes the mind (matter) and the Soul (Spirit), the Self, are one, in essence, there is no place for the duality. Without duality, the universe ceases to exist. Without the universe, your existence within the universe is merely an illusion. After all, there is scope for two because everything is created out of single stuff. That single stuff is the consciousness or Spirit, the God in truth.

Vedic God is Atman is Advaita.

In Vedas, God has been described as: ~

Yajur Veda – chapter- 32: ~ God is Supreme Spirit has no ‘Pratima’ (idol) or material shape. He cannot be seen directly by anyone. He pervades all beings and all directions. Thus, Idolatry does not find any support from the Vedas.

The Vedas as a body of scripture contains many contradictions and they are fragmentary in nature. For Hindus, scriptures like the Bhagavad-Gita, Ramayana, Mahabharata, and Puranas are more attractive and appealing than the Vedas. And also, the Gods and Goddesses they worship differ considerably from the Vedic ones. The collection of hymns called Vedas are written in praise of certain deities by poets over several centuries does not seem to have much significance for the Hindus

Yajur Veda says: ~

Translation 1

They enter darkness, those who worship natural things (for example air, water, sun, moon, animals, fire, stone, etc.).

They sink deeper in darkness than those who worship sambhuti. (Sambhuti means created things, for example, table, chair, idol, etc.) (Yajurveda 40:9)

Translation 2

"Deep into the shade of blinding gloom fall asambhuti's worshippers. They sink to darkness deeper yet who on sambhuti are intent." (Yajurveda Samhita by Ralph T. H. Griffith pg. 538)

Translation 3

"They are enveloped in darkness, in other words, are steeped in ignorance and sunk in the greatest depths of misery who worship the uncreated, eternal prakrti -- the material cause of the world -- in place of the All-pervading God, But those who worship visible things born of the prakrti, such as the earth, trees, bodies (human and the like) in place of God are enveloped in still greater darkness, in other words, they are extremely foolish, fall into an awful hell of pain and sorrow, and suffer terribly for a long time." (Yajur Veda 40:9.)

So, Yajur Veda indicates that: ~

They sink deeper in darkness than those who worship sambhuti. (Sambhuti means created things, for example, table, chair, idol, etc (Yajurveda 40:9)

Those who worship visible things born of the prakrti, such as the earth, trees, bodies (human and the like) in place of God are enveloped in still greater darkness, in other words, they are extremely foolish, fall into an awful hell of pain and sorrow, and suffer terribly for a long time." (Yajur Veda 40:9.)

Then why worship and glorify the non-~Vedic Gods in place of Vedic God when Veda bars such activities and it also warns people who indulge in such activities are enveloped in still greater darkness, in other words, they are extremely foolish, fall into an awful hell of pain and sorrow, and suffer terribly for a long time.

God exists prior to the form, time, and space. The form, time, and space cease to exist as a reality when wisdom dawns. Thus, the Gods and Gurus have no place in the domain of the Advaitic reality. Advaita is the nature of the Soul, which is the real God. Thus, Self-realization is the only way to God-realization.

By worshipping the religious Gods and Gurus one will not get Self-realization or God-realization.

The Soul, the inner Guru reveals ‘what is real’ and ‘what is unreal” when the seeker is receptive and ready.

Upanishad says: ~ 'The human goal is to acquire Self-Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana and they indicate the personal gods, scriptures, worship, and rituals are not the means to Self –Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana, then why anyone should indulge in it. The religion, concept of individualized god and scriptures are the greatest obstacle to realizing non-dual truth or Self-realization because they are based on false Self. The seeker of truth has to search for the ultimate truth without losing himself in the labyrinths of philosophy, through deeper, inquiry, analysis, and reasoning and assimilate and realize it.

Sage Sankara’s Supreme Brahman (God) is impersonal, Nirguna (without Gunas or attributes), Nirakara (formless), Nirvisesha (without special characteristics), immutable, eternal, and Akarta (non-agent). God is above all needs and desires. God is always the Witnessing Subject. God can never become an object as God is beyond the reach of the senses. God is non-dual, one without a second. God has no other besides it. God is destitute of difference, either external or internal. God cannot be described because the description implies a distinction. God cannot be distinguished from any other than God. In God, there is not a distinction between substance and attribute. Sat-Chit-Ananda constituted the very essence or Svarupa of God, and not just God's attributes. The Nirguna Brahman of Sage Sankara is impersonal.

God is neither male nor female because God is nondual. God is in the form of the Athma, and it is indeed Athma itself. Athma is a formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.

All Gods with forms and names are a reality within the dualistic illusion or Maya. the real God is hidden by the dualistic illusion or Maya. the dualistic illusion is present in the form of the universe (I).

There is neither Shiva nor Shakti but only consciousness. Consciousness is God in truth. All blind belief-based Gods are not God in truth.

Bhagavad Gita: ~ Brahmano hi pratisthaham ~ Brahman (God) is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27).

When Bhagavad Gita says God is considered the all-pervading consciousness which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material then nothing has to be accepted as God other than consciousness.

Lord Krishna Says Ch ~V: ~ “Those who know the ‘Self’ in truth.". The last two words (tattvataha) are usually ignored by pundits, but they make all the difference between the ordinary concept of God and the truth about God.

The dualistic worship of "God” is only for the ignorant populace. The God in truth is only Atman, the innermost Self. In reality, there is no duality, no differentiation. Only Atman exists.

Brihadaranyaka Upanishad IV-13:~ ‘As a mass of salt has neither inside nor outside, but is entirely a mass of taste, thus indeed, has that Self neither inside nor outside but is altogether a mass of Knowledge. Just as a lump of salt has inside as well as outside one and the same saltish taste, not any other taste, so also that Brahman (consciousness) has inside as well as outside one and the same intelligence. Inside and outside are mental creations only. When the mind melts in silence, ideas of inside and outside vanish. Sages cognize one illimitable, homogeneous mass of consciousness only.

Causality taught in the Upanishads is only to enable us to understand the supreme truth of no-origination. The world is not different from the consciousness and the consciousness is not different from the Soul, the Self, and the Soul is not different from the ultimate truth or Brahman. That the consciousness appears as the diverse world is only an illusion. If it really became diverse then the immortal would become mortal.

The dualists who seek to prove the origination of the unborn, by that very enterprise try to make the immortal, mortal. Ultimate nature can never change - the immortal can never become mortal and vice versa.

Sage Goudapada quotes from the Upanishads: ~ "There's no plurality here"; "The Soul through its powers appear to be many"; "those who are attached to the creation or production or origination go to utter darkness"; "the unborn is never reborn, for what can produce it?”. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

The subject is the Soul, the Spirit and the object is the ‘I’ the matter.+

The subject is the Soul, the Spirit and the object is the ‘I’ the matter. The Soul, the Self is the Spirit. The Soul, the Self is the subject. The ‘I’ the universe is the matter.

Unless you realize ‘what is the subject?’ and ‘what is the object’? you will never be able to unfold the mystery hidden by the ‘I’.

Remember:~

Those who lack the intelligence to discriminate between formless witness (subject) and three states (object) will not be able to grasp what is real and what is unreal. Both subject and object are consciousness, not subject alone.

The truth can never change. The nature of truth is, it can never be changed under any circumstances. It may be misrepresented. It must apply to the whole of existence, to the whole of the universe. It is in the object (three states) alone that one has all changes, as deeper analysis points out.

The subject (formless witness) remains unchanged. The subject (formless witness), as such remains immortal. It can never die for it never changes. The body and the world are an object and go, but the subject or the knower of the body and the universe can never go.

The seeker has to take this principle as his guiding thread and non-dual truth becomes easy to grasp. The formless witness can never be subject to the changes of the object; it is unchanged. The mistake usually made is that the subject becomes the object, or that, the object is the subject.

If one wants to have an absence of contradictions, the absence of duality, there must be one entity, one being. If one has experience which is an object (mind), there is a contradiction between subject and object, for "mind” is an object.

The duality is a reality from the standpoint of the false ‘Self’ (ego or waking entity). The duality is a mere mirage on the base of the true ‘Self’, which is consciousness. This understanding comes only to the serious seeker, who has a real urge to know the ultimate truth, which is beyond all the teachings and teachers. There is neither teaching, nor teacher, nor a student in the realm of truth. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

The ignorant are not spiritually mature enough to receive ‘Self’-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.+

Everyone’s individual experiences are not the same. Some are so much immersed in materiality, religion, duty-bound towards their family and society, and they will not be attracted to the path of wisdom or understand and assimilate the Advaitic truth because they accepted the world (dualistic illusion) as a reality whereas the Sage Sankara says the world is merely an illusion.

In ignorance, the universe exists as a reality. In reality, the universe is an illusion.

That is why Sage Sankara says:~VC-63- Without causing the objective universe to vanish and without knowing the truth of the ‘Self’ how is one to achieve Liberation by the mere utterance of the word Brahman? — It would result merely in an effort of speech.

Sage Sankara says: ~ A buried treasure is not uncovered by merely uttering the words: “Come forth.” You must follow the right directions, dig, remove the stones and earth from above it, and then make it your own. In the same way, the pure truth of the Atman, which is buried under Maya and the effects of Maya, can be reached by meditation, contemplation, and other spiritual disciplines but never by perverse arguments.

Sage Sankara: ~ “VC~ All this universe which through ignorance appears as of diverse forms, is nothing else but Brahman (Consciousness) which is absolutely free from all the limitations of Maya.

When you finally realize the ‘‘Self’ ‘is not you but the ‘‘Self’’ is the Soul then you will realize the world in which you exist is merely an illusion created out of the Soul. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness.

Sage Sankara:~ VC-63- "Without knowing and examining the universe, one can’t know the Truth, as the idea that the external world exists, won't go. It can go only by an inquiry into the nature of the external world.

Sage Sankara says: ~ “What is accepted without a proper inquiry will not lead a person to the final goal. On the contrary, such acceptance will result only in evil, in something which is detrimental to our spiritual progress.

Sage Sankara says:~VC-47- All the effects of ignorance, root, and branch, are burnt down by the fire of knowledge, which arises from discrimination between these two—the Self and the non-Self.

Until you think you are an individual separate from the world and the world that existed prior to you and you are born in it afterward the ignorance will prevail as a reality. Till ignorance is there the universe prevails as reality.

Sage Sankara says: ~ “The exercise in discrimination between real and unreal and renunciation of the false leads to non-dualistic Self-awareness.

Perfect understanding and realization of ‘what is what’ leads to Self-awareness. By holding onto theories one remains in the realm of duality. You have to mentally go on dropping what is not the truth through deeper Self-search.

Finally when you become aware of the fact that, your ego, your body, and the world are one in essence then there is Self-awareness in the midst of duality.

Many are good at acrobatics with words, but their knowledge is limited to the domain of form, time, and space. When the inner work is in progress then the realization will happen as the conviction about the Soul, the Self, becomes firm.

A Gnani silently works to clear the ignorance through wisdom, he is fully aware of the arrows of wisdom and enters to the core of the existence and the inner process will go on silently.

The path of wisdom attracts only those who are in search of truth and they appreciate it greatly. The ignorant are not spiritually mature enough to receive ‘Self’-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. The ignorant indulge in argument and provocation and personal attack, which hinder their own realization of the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.

That is why Jesus said: - Do not throw your pearls before pigs, lest they trample them underfoot and turn to attack you. (Matthew -7:6)

~ Jesus meant ‘Self’-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or knowledge of the Spirit.

That is why Sage Sankara indicated in VC-63- Without causing the objective universe to vanish and without knowing the truth of the ‘Self’, how is one to achieve Liberation by the mere utterance of the word Brahman? — It would result merely in an effort of speech.

It is important to that this is what it means – Whoever has attained the knowledge of the Atman and his unity with it and thereby has been delivered from the illusion of individual existence into the understanding of the infinite truth, his good and evil deeds come to zilch. They are no longer his deeds, simply because he is no longer an individual. And having attained this communion, he ceases to perform any deeds or anticipate any returns from the deeds. : ~Santthosh Kumaar

The rejection of religion, which is based on blind faith or blind belief in favor of the truth is the message of Sage Sankara.+

Prayers and rituals are not the answer to achieve world peace and universal brotherhood.  Prayers and rituals based on blind faith and blind belief propagated by religion will not yield any fruit.

The time has come for us to consider seriously how to change our way of life not through prayer or religious  rituals, but through realizing God in truth.

Religion is the cause of  of  wars, violence terrorism. The problem of  wars, violence, terrorism in the name of religion and religious Gods  “cannot be resolved through prayers and rituals.

Religion is a man-made problem. Until religion is discarded from the human psyche, this problem cannot be resolved. 

We need a systematic approach to replace religion, which is based on myth  with Spirituality which is based on God in truth.

 God in truth to bring oneness and harmony in humanity.

Remember:~

Most of the orthodox people live in the prison of the inherited dogmas and superstitions. The orthodox people expect their clan to follow a certain outdated religious code of conduct (Shastras) and live dogmatically following the traditional lifestyle. 

The path of orthodoxy is meant for the ignorant populace which has the sheepish mentality and blindly accepting the inherited dogmas and superstition. From the ultimate standpoint, the concept of God itself is a superstition. Thus, all religious ideas of heaven, hell, sin, karma, are merely imaginary ideas and theories meant for the ignorant people of ancient times.

When the religion of the Veda knows no idols then why so many Gods and Goddesses with different forms and names are being propagated as Vedic Gods. Why these conceptual Gods are introduced when the Vedic concept of God is free from form and attributes. 

The founders of the different castes of Hinduism introduced different Gods and Goddesses. All these Gods with attributes are barred by Vedas.

Yajur Veda says: - those who worship visible things, born of the prakrti, such as the earth, trees, bodies (human and the like), in place of God, are enveloped in still greater darkness. Therefore, all these add-ons prove that the form and attribute basedGods are introduced by the founders of different castes of Hinduism in the past with new rituals and code of conducts in the name of Vedas are non-Vedic.

According to Sage Sankara meditation always means the critical analysis about the Self to get salvation from ignorance.

Due to the eccentric ego of the then atheists, Sage Sankara did not go beyond this since the atheists will not accept God beyond themselves.

This limitation is not due to limited knowledge of Sage Sankara but is due to the then-existing situation of the psychology of the surrounding society.

For the wise who realize everything as consciousness, what is there to meditate or not to meditate, what to speak or not to speak, what to do or not to do?

Only the Soul or consciousness is Real and all else is an illusion. Only your constant remembrance will allow you, one day, to realize what truth really is, and, in so doing realize the ‘Self.

The exercise in discrimination between real and unreal and renunciation of the false is real meditation.

Meditation is not a bridge between you and the Soul because you are the false self within the false experience.

There is no use in doing meditation without realizing the fact that you are not the Self.

You and the world in which you exist are the product of ignorance. It is of no use of indulging in meditation without getting rid of ignorance.

Without getting rid of ignorance, it is impossible to realize the world in which you exist is an illusion created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Thus, doing meditation within the illusion gives illusory results without realizing the truth of your true existence keeps the Soul in the grip of ignorance.

The nature of the Soul is meditative because it is nondual. By getting rid of ignorance through wisdom leads to nondual Self-awareness. Self-awareness is real meditation.

Sage Sankara says: ~ “The exercise in discrimination between real and unreal and renunciation of the false is real meditation, then why you are indulging in other types of meditation.

Perfect understanding and realization of "what is what’ leads to Self-awareness. By holding onto theories one remains in the realm of duality.

You have to mentally go on dropping what is not the truth through deeper Self-search. Finally when you become aware of the fact that, your ego, your body, and the world are one in essence then there is Self-awareness in the midst of duality. :~ Santthosh Kumaar
