Where there is ‘I’ there is the mind. Where there is mind there is ignorance.+

It is necessary to reflect on the same truth again and again till it becomes a reality. One needs to constantly reflect on the subject until he gets a firm conviction of what is what. Words are needed until one gets a firm conviction of ‘what is what’. People need reading and hearing the words of wisdom to think reason and reflect deeply and reach the ultimate end.

A perfect understanding of ‘what is what’ through deeper thinking and reasoning helps to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

Where there is ‘I’ there is the mind.

Where there is mind there is ignorance.

Where there is ignorance there is duality.

Where there is duality there is an illusion.

Where there is an illusion there is form, time, and space.

Where there is, form, time, and space, the world in which you exist is ever-present.

Remember: ~

If there is no ‘I’ then there is no mind.

If there is no mind then there is no ignorance.

If there is no ignorance then there is no duality.

If there is no duality then there is no illusion.

If there is an illusion then there is form, time, and space.

If there is no form, time, and space then there is no world in which you exist.

The mind, ignorance, duality, illusion, form, time, and space, the world in which you exist are present only when ‘I’ is present.

The mind, ignorance, duality, illusion, form, time, and space, the world in which you exist are absent when the ‘I’ is absent.

Where there is no ‘I’ there is no world in which you exist then the Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness alone exists. When the Soul alone remains in its own awareness is called Self-awareness.

The Soul is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth. The Soul is in the form of consciousness. The Soul is Self -evident. It is not established by extraneous proofs. It is not possible to deny the Soul because it is the very essence of the one who denies it. The Soul is the basis of all kinds of knowledge, presuppositions, and proofs. The Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness (spirit), is the ultimate truth or Brahman. Brahman means God in truth. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Realize the Self is the Soul, which is free from the sense of ‘I AM’.+

Do not hold the ‘Self’ as ‘I AM’. ‘I AM’ is the dualistic prison. Realize the Self is the Soul, which is free from the sense of ‘I AM’.

If you hold the ‘Self’ as ‘I AM then you permanently remain in ignorance of your true existence, which is beyond the form, time, and space. The ‘I AM’ represents the form, time, and space whereas the Self is the ever formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.

The Soul is not within your body but the Soul pervades the whole world in which you exist. Those gurus who think the ‘Self’ is within the body propagated the Self is to be ‘I AM and they also propagate the consciousness is limited to the physical body. They think the consciousness is not permanent because it disappears along with physical death.

When the Self is not the body but the Soul, which is birthless and deathless how can you relate the ‘’Self’ to the Soul, which the ever formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.

The ‘I-centric’ teachings are merely an imagination based on the dualistic perspective whereas the truth is based on the nondualistic perspective.

Don’t bother about anything other than the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. Stick to the Soul, the ultimate truth or Brahman or God. Mentally don’t let go of your hold on the Soul under any circumstances.

The world in which you exist, your thoughts, and your world are made on single stuff. Knowledge of that single stuff is truth, which is beyond the form, time, and space.

Mentally reduce the world in which you exist into waking experience and waking experience into mind and mind into consciousness by perfect understating of ‘what is what’.

When you realize’ what is what’ you will realize everything is nothing but consciousness. There is no second thing that exists other than consciousness. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Those who are stuck with the ‘I’-centric teaching never be able to cross the domain of the illusory form, time, and space.+

Only your intense urge to know the truth will take you to the ultimate end, but your accumulated knowledge will block you from realizing the truth, which is beyond the form, time, and space.

It is impossible for the seeker to discard the ‘I’ because they are stuck up with the idea that ‘I’ itself is the “Self’. In the past, some famous Gurus and their teachings glorified the ‘I’ people take it as a final and accepted it as the ultimate truth. Such acceptance without verifying the fact about the ‘I’, their journey is incomplete. Blind acceptance and reverence to the guru will not help the seeker to get rid of ignorance.

Firstly, doubt about this ‘I’, how it came into existence. There are no other means to the final goal is the realization of the source of the ‘I’. There is a need to understand, assimilate, and realize the nature of this ‘I’, which appears and disappears.

It is erroneous to use the word ‘I’ for the 'Self’, because ‘I’ represents the form, time, and space whereas the Soul, the innermost 'Self’ is a formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.

Bhagavad Gita: ~ “The permanent is always there, only the transient ‘I’ comes and goes.” (2.18)

To understand the false nature of the ‘I’, the Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is necessary.

The 'Self’ is not ‘I’, but the 'Self’ is the Soul which is the witness of the ‘I’. By holding the’ “Self’’ as the ‘I’ leads to hallucinations based on the imagination.

Those who are stuck with the ‘I’-centric teaching never be able to cross the domain of the form, time, and space.

All the Gurus glorified the ‘I’. Thus, it becomes very difficult to discard the ‘I’. Those who have accepted the ‘I’ based teaching refuse to accept anything other than their accepted truth. Till you hold the 'Self’  as the ‘I’, your knowledge remains skin deep.

The world in which you exist came into existence because of the ‘I’. The world, in which you exist ceases to exist without the ‘I’.

Sage Sankara: ~ “VC~ All this universe which through ignorance appears as of diverse forms, is nothing else but Brahman which is absolutely free from all the limitations of human thought”.

The ‘I’ is what the seeker begins his investigation. A perfect understanding of ‘what is what’ will help the seeker to reach the Soul, which is the  'Self’.

Sage  Sankara: ~ "VC~ if the universe is true, let it then be perceived in the state of deep sleep also. As it is not at all perceived, it must be unreal and false like dreams.

This universe is nothing but the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. From the Soul, the universe appears and when the universe disappears from the consciousness, the consciousness still remains without any division of the form, time, and space.

Ashtavakra Gita: ~ “The universe rises from the Soul, the 'Self’ like bubbles from the sea. Thus, know the ‘Self’ to be “One” and in this way enter into the state of dissolution."

To enable the seeker to steer clear of any possible doubt, the seeker should take the Atmic path. The ‘I’ is the clue and study the nature of the ‘I’ and discover its source.

The 'Self’ is not within you but the 'Self’ is hidden in the world in which you exist. The one which is born, lives, and dies is not the 'Self' because the Self' is the Soul, which the ever formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.

The Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, is nothing to do with you the world in which you exist. On the Standpoint of the Soul, the  'Self’, the world in which you exist is merely an illusion.

The 'Self' is not within you, because the 'Self’ is not the body. If the ‘“Self’’ is not you, then why you think the 'Self’ is within you. A deeper self -search reveals the fact that you and the world are within the Soul the 'Self’. a perfect understanding and assimilation lead to Self -realization.

Till you think you are an individual separate from this world you will remain in the realm of dualistic illusion. The dualistic illusion is the product of ignorance. When the Advaitic wisdom dawns, then the ignorance vanishes. When the ignorance vanishes, then the duality never remains as a reality.

First, the seeker has to know ‘what is the subject’ and ‘what is the object’. Deeper self-search reveals the fact that”: the world in which we exist is an object to the formless subject. The formless subject is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Deeper verification reveals the fact that the object and the subject are one in essence. That essence is consciousness. Thus, the object only an illusion created out of the formless subject. The subject alone is real exists eternal. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Reality means realizing the nondual Soul, the Self, which is hidden by the ‘I’.+

Reality means realizing the nondual Soul, the Self, which is hidden by the ‘I’. The ‘I’ is ignorance. The Soul, the Self, which is present in the form of consciousness, is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.

Brahman or God in truth - One without a Second.

The Vedas exclaim from time immemorial: Rig Veda, 1-164-146. Ekam Sat Vipra Bahudha Vadanti, Existence is One, Sages call it by different names

God, Brahman, Allah, Ishvara, Jehovah, Ahuramazda, etc., are one. God is the Soul, the ‘Self’. The Soul is the Supreme Being the One eternal homogeneous essence, indivisible consciousness, and intelligence, which is hidden by the illusory form, time, and space. To which the Sages describe in a variety of ways through diverse words.

The Soul is the Self’. Consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth, in the beginning, the consciousness which is One without a second alone existed.

When darkness was rolling over darkness there was Existence only. Nobody knows how this universe came into being.

You will find in Rig Veda: Who knows here, who can here state whence came all this multifarious Universe? Even the Devas are posterior to its creation, who then knows whence this came out? Rig Veda VIII-17-6.

The Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness alone, exists. The consciousness appears as the universe which we cognize just as a rope appears as a serpent. Consciousness puts on the appearance of this universe in which we exist.

Consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman. Consciousness is the substance and witness of the universe which appears as waking or dream (duality) and disappears as deep sleep (nonduality).

Consciousness is without cause and without effect, without anything inside or outside, without defect or impurity, without length or breadth, without color, shape, or form.

Consciousness is without limbs, parts, without name or caste, without hands and legs. Consciousness is an embodiment of wisdom, peace, and awareness. Consciousness shines by itself’ because it is ‘Self’-luminous.

The universes in which you exist really exist in the Soul, the innermost ‘Self’. The universe comes into existence because of the ‘Self’-effulgent Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. The whole universe exists within the Soul. The universe appears as external because of ignorance.

How can one describe the glory and greatness of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness? Consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.

Even the Vedas have sung in praise of the Brahman according to their limited capacity. No one has been able to find out its beginning or end.

The Soul walks without feet, grasps without hands, hears without ears, sees without eyes, tastes without a tongue, smells without a nose, feels without a skin, talks without a mouth, because, the Soul a mass of the pure consciousness. All hands, feet, eyes, heads, faces, and the whole world are made from consciousness.

Consciousness is all-pervading. Consciousness is beyond the reach of mind and speech because it exists prior to the form, time, and space. One cannot see the Soul with these physical eyes, but he can realize the Soul by getting rid of the ignorance through Advaitic wisdom.

The eye cannot perceive the Soul. The ego cannot reach the Soul. The gross practical man within the practical world cannot grasp the Soul, without an intense urge.

The speech cannot describe the Soul because it is beyond the form, time, and space.

The speech cannot describe the Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness of inadequate terms. People baffled in their attempts to describe the truth, which is beyond the form, time, and space; because it is indescribable.

To describe the Soul is to deny the Soul. How can a finite ego grasp the Infinite? But the Soul can be directly realized by that aspirant who has rectified his reasoning base from ego to the Soul.

Gnanis emphatically declare that Brahman or God in truth is that which is above the undifferentiated, that which is unborn either as cause or effect

The Soul is not this, not that, Neti, Neti, etc. The Soul is the real unconditioned consciousness. The consciousness is the reality of reality.

Consciousness is destitute of any other characteristics. Consciousness is entire without any sort of difference.

Brihadaranyaka Upanishad IV-13:~ As a mass of salt has neither inside nor outside, but is entirely a mass of taste, thus indeed, has that ‘Self’ neither inside nor outside but is altogether a mass of Knowledge. Just as a lump of salt has inside as well as outside one and the same saltish taste, not any other taste, so also that Brahman has inside as well as outside one and the same intelligence. Inside and outside are mental creations only. When the mind melts in silence, ideas of inside and outside vanish. The sage cognizes one illimitable, homogeneous mass of consciousness only.

The Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, is all-pervading and unattached. So it is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.

Srutis emphatically declare ~ Akasavat Sarvagata Nitya i.e., like ether all-pervading and eternal. If the pot is broken the pot-ether is not in any way affected. So it is unattached (Asanga).

The Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, is Immortal. The nature of the Soul is objectless consciousness.

The Soul is different from the knowable. The Soul is beyond the unknowable also. The Soul is incomprehensible. This does not mean that the Soul is a non-entity or void or a negative concept, or a metaphysical abstraction. The Soul is a mass of knowledge or awareness.

Consciousness is denser than stone or platinum or gold. Consciousness is the only real entity, the substratum for everything that exists within the dualistic illusion or Maya. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

People who think, the ‘I’ in everyone and everything is the Self, without realizing the ‘Self is not the ‘I’.+

People who think, the ‘I’ in everyone and everything is the Self, without realizing the ‘Self is not the ‘I’. The ‘I’ not within you but you are within the ‘I’. The ‘I’ is present in the form of the world.

The ‘Self’ is not the body.

The ‘Self’ is not within the body.

You are not the ‘Self.

You are bound by the form, time, and space.

You are bound by the experience of birth, life, death, and the world.

You are never free because the world in which you exist is the product of ignorance.

The world in which you exist created out of single clay. That single clay is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. The Soul is the Self. The Soul is not ‘I’. The Soul is the witness of the ‘I’ which appears and disappears.

The Soul is the only permanent thing and the ‘I’ is merely an illusion. If you do not understand this truth you will never be able to cross the ‘I’, which is the dualistic illusion or Maya.

The seeker has to make sure what is this ‘I’ supposed to be? The seeker has to make sure the unreal nature of the ‘I’ which comes and goes.

That is why Bhagavad Gita: ~ “The permanent is always there, only the transient ‘I’ comes and goes.” (2.18)

The ‘I’ hides the Soul, the Self, which is ever nondual.

People think the ‘I’ without the body is the Self. The seeker has to understand the fact that ‘I’ is not the Self, but the witness of the ‘I’ is the true Self, which is eternal.

That is why Ashtavakra Gita 16:10:~ If you desire liberation, but you still say "I," If you feel the ‘Self’ is the ‘I’, You are not a wise man or a seeker. You are simply a man who suffers.

People are stuck with the reality of the ‘I’, which they take it as real because some Gurus have propagated the Self is the ‘I’. is no need to convince such a mindset. The seeker of truth accepts only the truth nothing but the truth.

That is why Sag Sankara says:- VC-65- As a treasure hidden underground requires (for its extraction) competent instruction, excavation, the removal of stones and other such things lying above it and (finally) grasping, but never comes out by being (merely) called out by name, so the transparent truth of the Self, which is hidden by Maya and its effects, is to be attained through the instructions of a knower of Brahman, followed by reflection, meditation and so forth, but not through perverted arguments.

People refuse to accept anything other than their Gurus words. For them, their Gurus words are the ultimate truth. They do not accept anything else other than their accepted truth. There is no need to convince such a mindset.

Such a mindset is not fit to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. The seekers of truth accept only the truth nothing but the uncontradictable truth. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Whatever belongs to you belongs to the universe, which is the dualistic illusion or Maya.+

Sage Sankara: ~ VC~ "All this universe which through ignorance appears as of diverse forms, is nothing else but Brahman which is free from all the limitations of human thought

Ashtavakra Gita: ~ “The universe rises from the Soul, the Self like bubbles from the sea. Thus, know the Self to be One and in this way enter into the state of dissolution."

The world belongs to you. Anger belongs to you, pain and pleasure, love belongs to you, hate belongs to you wars, violence, and terrorism belong to you but you and whatever belongs to you belong to the dualistic illusion.

Remember, the Self is not you but the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. The world, in which you exist along with all the contents is merely an illusion created out of the Soul, the Self, which is present in the form of consciousness.

The Soul is the Self. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness. The Soul is the witness-consciousness that experiences the action, the actor, and the world of separate things. It is like a light that illuminates everything in a theatre, revealing the master of ceremonies, the guests, and the dancers with complete impartiality. Even when they all depart, the light shines to reveal their absence.

Whatever is real in the world in which we exist is God. All that is real in the world in which we exist is the Soul, the Self.

Thus, by realizing the Self, which is the Soul, we discover the Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness itself is God which is hidden by the ‘I’, which is the dualistic illusion.

Even Bhagavad Gita says: ~ Brahmano hi pratisthaham ~ Brahman (God) is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27).

When Bhagavad Gita says, God is considered the all-pervading consciousness which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material then nothing has to be accepted as God other than consciousness.

Even Brihadaranyaka Upanishad: ~ Brahman (God) is present in the form of the Athma, and it is indeed Athma itself.

Even Rig Veda: ~ The Atman is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman the Self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)

The world in which you exist is a dualistic illusion created out of the ‘Self’ which not you but the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. Whatever you have seen, known, believed, and experienced is within the dualistic illusion. Thus, your existence is bound to an illusion created out of consciousness, which is real and eternal.

Like an ornament made from gold is Gold, which is born out of consciousness is consciousness. Like gold is the permanent thing, in ornaments made of gold, similarly, the mind, which is in the form of the universe is born out of consciousness, is consciousness in its essence.~ Santthosh Kumaar

Mundaka Upanishad:~ These performers of karma do not know the Truth, which is hidden by the illusion.+

Mundaka Upanishad:~ These performers of karma do not know the Truth, which is hidden by the illusion.

Sage Gaudapada says: ~The merciful Veda teaches karma and Upasana to people of lower and middling intellect, while Jnana is taught to those of higher intellect.

The Advaitic wisdom is not for the ignorant people who follow the path of Karma.

First Mundaka - Chapter 2 (9):~ “Children, immersed in ignorance in various ways, flatter themselves, saying: We have accomplished life's purpose. Because these performers of karma do not know the Truth owing to their attachment, they fall from heaven, misery-stricken, when the fruit of their work is exhausted.

The theory of karma belongs to theistic Advaita is nothing to with the Advaitic wisdom. The karma theory is based on the individual experience of birth, life, death, and the world as a reality whereas Sage Sankara says the world is an illusion.

Thus, whatever karma performed within the illusory world is bound to be an illusion. The karma theory is meant for the ignorant who are the followers of the Advaitic orthodox path. The advaitic orthodox path is meant for the ignorant populace. Those who follow the Karma theory are not qualified for Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

Ish Upanishads: ~ “Avidya” is Karma and therefore a hindrance.

According to Advaita Vedanta, the Veda addresses itself to two kinds of audiences:

1. The ordinary ones who desire the transitory heaven and other pleasures obtained as a result of ritual sacrifices,

2. The more advanced seeker who seeks to know Brahman.

Thus, the Purva mimam. sa, with its emphasis on the karma kanda of the Vedas, is meant for the first audience, to help lead its followers along the way.

The Vedanta, with its emphasis on the jnana kanda, is meant for those who wish to go beyond such transient pleasures.

Ish Upanishad declares:~ Those people who have neglected the attainment of Self-knowledge and have thus committed suicide

Sage Sri Sankara: ~ “Action (karma) cannot destroy ignorance, for it is not in conflict with or opposed to ignorance. Knowledge does verily destroy ignorance as light destroys deep darkness. -Atma Bodha

Sage Sankara said:~Talk as much philosophy as you like, worship as many Gods as you please, observe ceremonies and sing devotional hymns, but liberation will never come, even after a hundred aeons, without realizing the Oneness.

In the theistic analysis, human life and behavior are explained on the basis of the theory of karma, which sets the cycle of rebirths into motion. All actions, good or bad, create their own karmic residues called vasanas, which exhibit their results over a period of time.

The Karma which has already started taking fruit is called Prarabdha Karma. This is the karma that is responsible for the current birth. The accumulated karma which is yet to take fruit is called sanchit karma. As long as the cycle of rebirths continues, more karma will be done in the future, and this is called Agamin karma. Liberation (moksha) is the way out of this endless cycle.

The most valuable contribution of Sage Sankara is that he gained general consciousness on the issue that the authoritative explanation of Upanishads, Gita, and Brahma Sutra was the final say in the matter of religion. Anything that goes contrary to the trio is not authentic. He also made a clear distinction between Vedas and Upanishads in his commentary on Gita. He stated that the Karma Kanda of the Vedas deals with the injunctions relating to the performance of duties and actions. These are for ordinary householders.

The path of religion, the path of yoga, and the path of wisdom were intended for different classes of people. The wisdom is for the advanced seekers of truth. It deals with the nature of the ultimate Truth and Reality. It is meant for superior aspirants who have an inner urge to know the truth and it is not for those who are immersed in earthly desires.

Sage Sankara’s whole wisdom can be summed up into one sentence, ‘There is nothing else but Brahma. He says that the Absolute Existence, Absolute Knowledge, and Absolute Bliss are real. The universe is not real.

Sage Sankara says that Brahma and Atman are one. The ultimate and the Absolute Truth is the Self, which is one though appearing as many in different individuals. The individual has no reality. Only the Self is real; the rest, mental and physical are but passing appearances.

In fact, Sage Sankara states a paradox- the world is and is not. It is neither real nor unreal. It leads us to recognize the existence of Maya.

Sage Sankara gave religion, ritual, karma to the ignorant masses, as well as Advaitic wisdom to those who are seriously seeking the truth of true existence.

Those who have taken the Path of wisdom or Atmic path should discard the karma theory which is meant for the orthodox ignorant populace.

The person who bases on birth, life, and death is trying to find the meaning of life. There is no meaning or purpose of life because life is merely happening within the dualistic illusion. Thus, the Karma theory based on the physical entity is based on the birth, life, and death, which is part and parcel of the dualistic illusion. : ~Santthosh Kumaar

The universe is nothing but consciousness. Universe is unreal because it is not absolute and eternal like consciousness.+

The universe is verily consciousness. Without realizing ‘what is the Mind? it impossible to get Self- realization.

The universe is not different from the Mind because the universe is the mind itself. The mind is not different from the Soul because the mind is the dualistic illusion created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Thus, the universe is nothing but consciousness. The universe is unreal because it is not absolute and eternal like consciousness.

Until you hold you and the world in which you exist as a reality you will not be able to realize the ‘Self’ hidden by you and the world in which you exist.

The world in which you exist hides the truth of the Soul, the Self, which is present in the form of consciousness.

That is why Sage Sankara says: - VC-65. As a treasure hidden underground requires (for its extraction) competent instruction, excavation, the removal of stones and other such things lying above it and (finally) grasping, but never comes out by being (merely) called out by name, so the transparent Truth of the Self, which is hidden by Maya and its effects, is to be attained through the instructions of a knower of Brahman, followed by reflection, meditation and so forth, but not through perverted arguments.

People refuse to accept anything other than their inherited religious belief. For them, their religious beliefs are the ultimate truth. They do not accept anything else other than their accepted truth. There is no need to convince such a mindset.

Such a mindset is not fit to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. The seekers of truth accept only the truth nothing but the uncontradictable truth.

Sage Sankara:- “VC~ All this universe which through ignorance appears as of diverse forms, is nothing else but Brahman (Consciousness) which is absolutely free from all the limitations of human thought.

The universe is the product of ignorance. The ignorance is present in the form of the ‘I’.

Sage Sankara says: - VC-47- All the effects of ignorance, root, and branch, are burnt down by the fire of knowledge, which arises from discrimination between these two—the Self and the non-Self.

Until you think you are an individual separate from the world and the world that existed prior to you and you are born in it afterward the ignorance will prevail as a reality. Till ignorance is present the universe prevails as reality.

Sage Sankara says: ~ “The exercise in discrimination between real and unreal and renunciation of the false is real meditation, then why you are indulging in other types of meditation.

Perfect understanding and realization of ‘what is what’ leads to Self-awareness. By holding onto theories, one remains in the realm of dualistic illusion or Maya. You have to mentally go on dropping what is not the truth through deeper self-search.

Finally, when you become aware of the fact that, your ego, your body, and the world are one in essence then there is Self-awareness in the midst of dualistic illusion or Maya. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

You have to tread the path alone to reach it alone finally nothing remains as reality other than the Athma or Soul, the Self.+

One need not renounce worldly life and become a sanyasi or monk. One need not retire from his business or corporate job and become a Guru all these religious and yogic propagated outdated ideas has to be discarded in order to realize the truth of the true existence.

Do not become a slave of all these outdated religious and yogic ideas they are not meant for those who seriously seeking the truth. There is no need to follow anyone. Self –realization becomes easy if you independently walk your path.

Atmic path is your own path. You have to tread the path alone to reach it alone finally nothing remains as reality other than the Athma or Soul, the Self.

Stop your emotionally and sentimentally getting stuck with the Guru.

That is why Bhagavan Buddha: ~ “Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders.

Sage Sankara was a Gnani. Most of the modern masters are not Gnani. And you have to understand that to be a Gnani is one thing; to be a Guru is totally different.

Out of a million people perhaps one is a Gnani. Most of the Self- realized decide to remain silent – seeing the difficulty, that whatever they have realized is impossible to convey in any possible way to others; seeing that not only is it difficult to convey, it is bound to be misunderstood too.

A Gnani never claims himself as a Gnani, he guides the seekers, not posing himself as a Guru, and he does not force his wisdom on others. A Gnani is not a religious person or Yogi.

One need not roam one mountain to another, one ashram to another, or meeting gurus or yogis in order to get Gnana. One can get Gnana and become a Gnani wherever he lives.

We all are searching for truth within the illusion of not being aware of the fact that the illusion is created out of single stuff which is the  Soul, the innermost self. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness. Thus, searching the truth in the illusion with the illusory self, within the illusory experience, has to be an illusion.

The illusion is created and sustained and finally dissolves as consciousness. There is no second thing that exists other than consciousness. The consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman. Brahman itself is God in truth.

No one becomes a Gnani by taking sanyasa or wearing religious robes or by mastering the scriptures or by identifying with the religious symbol. Religious robes and religious symbols are not the means to Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

Blind faith is an obstacle to the pursuit of truth. The seeker should not waste his time on, he should primarily reflect on the Soul, the innermost Self, not on the ‘I’.

The Soul, which is present in the form of the spirit (consciousness), is ever formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.

Shruti says: ~ "brahmavit brahmaiva bhavati" - He who knows Brahman becomes Brahman Itself. In the Advaita understanding of this statement, the "becoming" is only metaphorical. It is not as if something that was not Brahman suddenly becomes Brahman.

Rather, "realizing Brahman" means a removal of the ignorance about one's own essential nature as Brahman. Thus, to "know Brahman" is to "be Brahman".

The one who has realized the identity of the Soul, the Self with the Brahman is a Gnani, one who is liberated even while embodied. Such a realization should not and cannot just be a literal understanding of Upanishadic Mahavakya.

Remember:~

Ashtavakra: ~ The man of knowledge, though living like an ordinary man, is contrary to him and only those like him understand his state.

A Gnani is one who has realized the ultimate truth of the identity with the Soul, the Self. Thus, moksha is not a result of ritual action (path of karma a) or of devotional service (path of bhakti). These paths are egocentric paths therefore they will not help anyway to get rid of the ignorance. In fact, moksha is not a result of anything, for it always exists.

All that is required is the removal of ignorance. The path of wisdom helps the seeker to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar
