A Gnani lives within the world but he is not of this world.+

There is no need to step out of the illusion. A Gnani lives within the world but he is not of this world. At the dawn of Advaitic wisdom, life will go on as usual within the dualistic illusion but the conscious awareness of the reality always there.

For Gnani whether there is a dualistic illusion or there is no dualistic illusion makes no difference because he is free from experiencing the individual experience of birth, life, death, and the world as a reality. A Gnani sees the world in which he exists as the consciousness, just as the goldsmiths view the ornaments as nothing but the gold.

A Gnani never considers his body and his experience of the world is not different from consciousness.

A Gnani considers the world in which he exists as the Soul. And the Soul is present in the form of consciousness. Consciousness is the witness that experiences the action, the actor, and the world of separate things. It is like a light that illuminates everything in a theatre, revealing the master of ceremonies, the guests, and the dancers with complete impartiality. Even when they all depart, the light shines to reveal their absence.

Remember:~

For a Gnani, the world is both real and unreal. It is real because it is a manifestation of consciousness, but is unreal, in the sense, that it is not absolute and eternal like consciousness itself.

The common people's approach is more practical, and they are stuck with the reality of the world, they take it as real. That is why all the confusion.

In Self-awareness-- the witness and witnessed are one in essence. That essence is consciousness. There is no second thing that exists other than consciousness.

A Gnani is fully aware of the fact that whatever is seen, known, believed, and experienced as a person is a reality within the waking experience (duality) but waking experience (duality) itself is merely an illusion.

Remember:~

The universe will not vanish, when wisdom dawns, only the ignorance disappears and the unreal nature of the universe is exposed, the same way as the unreal nature of the dream exposed when the waking takes place. The wisdom dawns in the midst of duality because in reality there is no duality. Nothing is needed other than a perfect understanding of ‘what is what’ is needed.

The ultimate truth or Brahman cannot be experienced because it is prior to any experience. The experience belongs to individuality. And individuality is a falsehood. There is neither individual nor his experience in the Advaitic reality. The world in which you exist cannot exist without waking experience. Whatever we are discussing, we are discussing within the waking experience but from the ultimate standpoint, the waking experience itself is an illusion. Whatever is known, seen, believed, and experienced as a person within the dualistic illusion is bound to be an illusion?

Remember:~

Nothing ever is really born. The entire universe is only an illusion. The universe in which you exist is merely an illusion created out of consciousness.

What exists is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness only. The consciousness cannot be expressed in words because it is the existence itself. It is eternal, self-effulgent, and unblemished.

The illusion has no value. The universe is the illusory nature of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. Mentally reduce the universe into consciousness by realizing the universe is nothing but an illusion created out of consciousness.

There is no reason behind the illusion! From the ultimate standpoint, there is no illusion at all! Everything is nothing but consciousness. There is no reason behind the illusion! From the ultimate standpoint, there is no illusion at all! Everything is nothing but consciousness. :~ Santthosh Kumaar

Sage Sankara says:~"This Atman is Self-evident. This Atman or Self is not established by proofs of the existence of the Self.+

Sage Sankara says:~"This Atman is Self-evident. This Atman or Self is not established by proofs of the existence of the Self. It is not possible to deny this Atman, for it is the very essence of he who denies it. Atman is the basis of all kinds of knowledge. The Self is within, the Self is without, the Self is before and the Self is behind. The Self is on the right hand, the Self is on the left, the Self is above and the Self is below".

Satyam-Jnanam-Anantam-Anandam is not a separate attribute. They form the very essence of Brahman. Brahman cannot be described because the description implies the distinction. Brahman cannot be distinguished from any other than He.
The objective world-the world of names and forms-has no independent existence. The Atman alone has real existence. The world is only phenomenal.
Sage Sankara was the exponent of the Advaitc wisdom. His Advaitic wisdom can be summed up in the following words:
Brahma Satyam Jagat Mithya,
Jeevo Brahmaiva Na Aparah
Brahman alone is real, this world is unreal; the Jiva is identical to Brahman. Jiva is identical to Brahman means it is also consciousness.
Sage Sankara: ~ Just as the snake is superimposed on the rope, this world and this body are superimposed on Brahman or the Soul, the Self. If one gets knowledge of the rope, the illusion of the snake will vanish. Even so, if he gets knowledge of Brahman, the illusion of the body and the world will vanish.
The snake is only an idea: it disappears on inquiry but deeper Self-search reveals the fact that the rope is also an idea and its reality will be exposed when wisdom dawns. There is neither snake nor the rope in reality because from the ultimate standpoint the duality is merely an illusion created out of consciousness.
Sage Sankara’s Supreme Brahman is impersonal, Nirguna (without Gunas or attributes), Nirakara (formless), Nirvisesha (without special characteristics), immutable, eternal, and Akarta (non-agent). It is above all needs and desires. It is always the Witnessing Subject. It can never become an object as it is beyond the reach of the senses. Brahman is non-dual, one without a second. It has no other beside it. It is destitute of difference, either external or internal. Brahman cannot be described because the description implies a distinction. Brahman cannot be distinguished from any other than It. In Brahman, there is not a distinction between substance and attribute. Sat-Chit-Ananda constitutes the very essence or Svarupa of Brahman and not just Its attributes. The Nirguna Brahman of Sage Sankara is impersonal.: ~ Santthosh Kumaar

The past present and future belong to the domain of the illusory form, time, and space.+

The past, present, and future belong to you. It is foolish to say I have no past present and future. The past present and future belong to the domain of the illusory form, time, and space. The form, time, and space belong to the universe, which is the dualistic illusion.

The ‘I’ itself is the dualistic illusion or Maya. The ‘Self’ is hidden by the dualistic illusion or Maya. It means the ‘I’ hides the truth. Thus, it is necessary to realize what is this 'I' supposed to be in actuality?
The ‘I-centric’ knowledge is not the Advaitic wisdom of Sage Sankara. ‘I-centric’ Guru and their teachings are half-baked knowledge based on imagination.
It is very difficult for those who strongly believe the ‘Self’ as the ‘I’, to realize the truth. All the Gurus of the east and west hold the ‘I’, as the ‘Self’ and spin their imagination on the base of ‘I’, which leads them to hallucination.
People mistake that ‘Self’ as I’ whereas the gross bodies are many. So ‘I’ cannot be self because the ‘I’ is the universe.
By sentimentally and emotionally getting involved with ‘i-centric’ Gurus and their teachings is a great hindrance in pursuit of truth.
People hold their Guru as the ultimate authority and drop their quest of truth and indulge in their glorifying and worshiping the Gurus, which keeps them permanently in ignorance of the ‘Self' hidden by the ‘I’.
Remember: ~
First, realize the ‘Self is not within you. You are bound by the experience of the birth, life, death, and the world whereas the ‘Self is birthless and deathless because it is an ever formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.
The Soul is the Self. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness. Consciousness is the cause of the world in which you exist and it itself is uncaused. Consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.
On the standpoint of the Soul, the Self the world in which you exist is merely an illusion. Thus, the world in which exists hides the Soul, which is the real God.
Till you think the ‘Soul, the Self’ is within you, you will never be able to realize God. God is not limited to you but it pervades in everything and everywhere in the world in which you exist.
You are with the body. You are born in this world. You are living in this world and you are going to die in this world. The world itself is an illusion.
When the ‘Self’ is not you but the ‘Self is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness then what is the use of discussing the birth, life, death, and the world because the one which is born, lives and dies is not the ‘Self. The Soul is birthless and deathless because it is the ever formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.
You are the birth entity. Your existence is limited to form, time, and space. Your religion, your religious Gods your beliefs, your religious rituals and prayers, your race, your nationality are nothing to do with the Soul, the ‘Self’ because the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness itself is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.
It is not you have to establish in consciousness but by realizing you, and your experience of the world is nothing but an illusion created out of consciousness the Self-awareness raise in the midst of the dualistic illusion or Maya.
Mentally reduce the world in which you exist into consciousness by realizing the world in which you exist is nothing but consciousness. If everything is consciousness then how can anything exist which is not consciousness?
When conviction about consciousness becomes firm then everything falls into the right slot.
Self-realization is very much necessary to realize the world is an illusion. Until and unless you realize the Self is not you but the Self is the Soul, Self-realization is an impossibility. :~
Santthosh Kumaar

You are stuck to the ‘I’ by saying ‘I AM THAT’. The ‘Self’ is not an individual to identify the ‘Self’ as ‘I AM’.+

You are stuck to the ‘I’ by saying ‘I AM THAT’. The ‘Self’ is not an individual to identify the ‘Self’ as ‘I AM’. How can you identify the ‘Self as ‘I AM’ when the ‘Self’ is formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.

People say Aham Brahmasmi - I am God, I am Brahman. I AM THAT’ but when Brahman is, how can "I" remain? Only Brahman remains, not the I.

People think the ‘I’ without the body is the Self. The seeker has to understand the fact that ‘I’ is not the Self, but the Soul, which is the witness of the ‘I’ is the true Self, which is eternal.

That is why Ashtavakra Gita 16:10:~ If you desire liberation, but you still say ‘I’ if you feel the ‘Self’ is the ‘I’, you are not a wise man or a seeker. You are simply a man who suffers.

People are stuck with the reality of the ‘I’, which they take it as real because some Gurus have propagated the Self is the ‘I’. There is no need to convince such a mindset which refuses to accept anything other than their accepted truth.

The seeker of truth accepts only the truth nothing but the truth. The truth is hidden by the ‘I’ but it is without the ‘I’.

Some Gurus in the past glorified the ‘I’ without verifying what this ‘I’ is an actuality. And followers of that ‘I’ based teaching Got stuck with the ‘I’.

The ‘I’ is present only when the mind is present.

The mind is present only when the universe is present.

The universe is present only when the waking is present.

If the ‘I’ is absent then the mind, the universe, the waking, is absent.

~ It means the ‘I’, the mind, the universe, the waking, are one and the same thing.

This is very important for the seeker to know to realize the ‘I’ itself is ignorance to overcome the ignorance they have to discard ‘I’.

Then why use the word ‘I’ for the ‘Self’ when ‘I’ is the cause of ignorance.

The Soul, the Self is God. It is not “I AM GOD, but it’s correct to say ‘the SELF IS GOD because the Self is not the ‘I’ or ’I AM”.

Bhagavan Buddha: ~ “There are only two mistakes one can make along the road to truth: not going all the way... and not starting.

That is why Bhagavan Buddha said: ~

Do not believe spiritual teaching just because: ~

1. It is repeatedly recited,

2. It is written in scripture,

3. It was handed from Guru to a disciple,

4. Everyone around you believes it,

5. It has supernatural qualities,

6. It fits my beliefs anyway,

7. It sounds rational to me,

8. It is taught by a respectable person,

9. It was said to be the truth by the teacher,

10. One must defend it or fight for it.

No second thing existed prior to the appearance of the ‘I’ and ‘I’ never exists now and also ‘I’ never exists in the future. The ‘I’, which appears and disappears is merely an illusion.

Let you be clear on one thing. The ‘I’ is mere a dualistic illusion created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. But in reality, ‘I’ neither exists in the past nor exists now, nor going to exist in the future. Whatever existed in the past and whatever exists now and whatever is going to exists in the future is merely an illusion created out of consciousness.

Whatever has appeared as ‘I’ is nothing but consciousness? The ‘I’ has no value because it is merely an illusion.

If you search for the truth then you will find only the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. If you search for the Soul then you will find only the truth, which is beyond the form, time, and space. : ~Santthosh Kumaar

First, realize the truth you are searching for is hidden by the ‘I’. The Soul, the Self is hidden by the ‘I’, which is the Maya.+

Realize the ‘Self’ is not you but the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

First, realize the truth you are searching for is hidden by the ‘I’. The Soul, the Self is hidden by the ‘I’, which is the Maya. Maya means the dualistic illusion or Maya.
The dualistic illusion or Maya is present in the form of the universe. The universe appears as waking or dream (duality) and disappears as deep sleep (nonduality).
The Soul, the 'Self' remains without the waking and without the dream in deep sleep. It means the Soul, the Self, remains without you and your experience of the world.
We speak about the deep sleep experience only in the waking experience. The waking experience is the state of ignorance. The dream is a parallel waking experience and the waking experience is a parallel dream.
The one that becomes waking and the one that becomes a dream and one that remains without the waking and dream in deep sleep is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
The Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, is the substance and witness and the source of the three states.

In reality, the substance, witness, and the source are one in essence. Therefore, there is no second thing that exists other than consciousness. Thus, consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth. : ~
Santthosh Kumaar

The thoughts come to you, not to the Soul, the ‘Self’. You are the thinker.+

The thoughts come to you, not to the Soul, the ‘Self’. You are the thinker. The Soul is not the thinker because the Soul is a formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.

Some Gurus say simply ask yourself: ~

To whom do these thoughts come?

Find out the source of your thoughts?

All these thought based teachings will not yield Advaitic wisdom because they are only knowledge based on form, time, and space.

The Advaitic truth is beyond the form, time, and space.

The thoughts arise only in the domain of form, time, and space. The thoughts come to you because you exist within the domain of form, time, and space. You are the thinker. You are the false self within the false experience. Without 'you' the thoughts will not arise.

In the dream, the thoughts come to the dream entity. The dream entity is a thinker within the dream. The dream becomes unreal when the waking takes place. Similarly, the waking becomes unreal when wisdom dawns. The wisdom dawns when you realize the ‘Self’ is not you, but the ‘Self’ is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

If the ‘Self’ is not you then what is the use of asking yourself:~

To whom do these thoughts come? Find out the source of your thoughts?.

The thoughts come to you, not to the Soul, the ‘Self’ because the Soul is the ever formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.

On the standpoint of the Soul, the Self, the form, time, and space are merely an illusion.

If the form, time, and space are merely an illusion then you, your thoughts, and the world in which you exist are merely an illusion.

Thus, what is the use of finding out about the thoughts which come to you, not to the Soul, the ‘Self’?

Thus, Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana, or Atma Gnana is necessary to realize the truth, which is beyond the form, time, and space. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Finally when you become aware of the fact that, you, your ego, your body, and the world are one in essence then Self-awareness rises in the midst of dualistic illusion or Maya.+

You are ignorant of the Soul, the Self, which is present in the form of consciousness. And you assert the blissful, ever-existent consciousness, which is hidden by the illusory three states

Consciousness is present in all three states as its formless substance and witness. And it is also apart from the three states because it is not an entity and identity within the waking or dream.
It is not an entity or identity within the three states because it is an ever formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.
Once the seeker accepts the fact that, the ‘Self’ is neither the ‘I’, nor the body he realizes the fact that, the consciousness is the true Self, and he establishes himself in that conviction. Once this conviction is established the then the waking experience is absolutely non-existent as a reality.
Holding the ego (you ) as the Self is the cause of ignorance. Consciousness is the knower of the body and the universe together.
Until you think you are an individual separate from the world and the world that existed prior to you and you are born in it afterward the ignorance will prevail as a reality. Till ignorance is there the universe prevails as reality.
Remember:~
Sage Sankara says: - VC-47- All the effects of ignorance, root, and branch, are burnt down by the fire of knowledge, which arises from discrimination between these two—the Self and the non-Self.
Sage Sankara says: ~ “The exercise in discrimination between real and unreal and renunciation of the false is real meditation, then why you are indulging in other types of meditation.
Perfect understanding and realization of ‘what is what’ leads to Self-awareness. By holding onto theories one remains in the realm of duality.

You have to mentally go on dropping what is not the truth through deeper Self-search. Finally when you become aware of the fact that, you, your ego, your body, and the world are one in essence then Self-awareness rises in the midst of dualistic illusion or Maya. : ~
Santthosh Kumaar

Ignorance is present in the form of the ‘I’. the ‘I’ is present in the form of the universe.+

Gods based on blind faith or belief and Guru are part of the illusory world; therefore the devotee and disciple also are part of the illusion. Accepting the birth, life, death, and the world as reality is accepting the illusion as reality.

Accepting the dualistic illusion or Maya as a reality is the cause of ignorance.

Ignorance makes one feel the dualistic illusion or Maya as reality. The dualistic illusion makes one feel he is an individual separate from the world. This separation makes one feel the birth, life, death, and the world as a reality.

A person, who stamped his foot on the ground to refute to show the world, is real, ignore that in the dream he would do exactly the same--stamp his dream foot on the ground and assert it to be real.

The person who bases on birth, life, death and the world is trying to find the meaning of life.

There is no meaning or purpose of life because life is merely happening within the dualistic illusion or Maya. Thus the karma based on the physical entity is based on the birth, life, death, and the world which is part and parcel of the illusion.

Remember:~

Sage Sankara says the transparent Truth of the ‘Self’, which is hidden by the illusion, is to be attained through the instructions of a knower of Brahman, (Gnani) then why you are sticking a Guru who is not a Gnani.

Sage Sankara says: ~ “The exercise in discrimination between real and unreal and renunciation of the false is real meditation, then why you are indulging in other types of meditation.

The truth is hidden by ignorance. Ignorance is present in the form of the ‘I’. the ‘I’ is present in the form of the universe. The universe appears as waking or dream (duality) and disappears as deep sleep(nonduality).

The seeker has to find out: ~

‘What is it that appears as the waking?’

“What is it that appears as a dream?’

‘What is it that disappears as deep sleep?’

Deeper self-search reveals the fact that whatever appears and disappears is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

The witness of the appearance and disappearance of the three states also the Soul.

All three states are created out of single clay. And that single clay is the consciousness. in reality, the witness (Soul) and the witnessed (three states) are one in essence.

The knowledge of the single stuff is Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.: ~ Santthosh Kumaar

By inquiring Who is that you? noting is gained. The inquirer himself is the ego. Without the ego, you do not exist.+

By inquiring Who is that you? noting is gained. The inquirer himself is the ego. Without the ego, you do not exist. The Self is not you because you are the ego.

The Self is not you but the Self is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

The seeker has to drop all his egocentric accumulated knowledge and only then he is fit to grasp Self-knowledge.

The Soul, the Self is not an individual but you are an individual. It is erroneous to identify the Soul, the Self as I or YOU when the Soul pervades in everything and everywhere in the whole universe.

Remember: ~

You are not separate from the ego because you are the ego. Without the ego you and the world in which you exist cease to exist. In the awareness of the ego, the world in which you exist is a reality.

In the awareness of the ego, your individual experience of the birth, life, death, and the world experienced as a reality.

In the awareness of the ego, the form, time, and space prevail as a reality.

In the awareness of the ego, the dualistic illusion, or Maya prevails as reality.

In the awareness of the ego, the three states prevail as reality.

In the awareness of the ego, the ‘I’ prevails as a reality.

If ‘I’ prevails as reality the ignorance prevails as reality.

Self-knowledge or Advaitic wisdom is necessary to get rid of ignorance.

Without Self-awareness, the universe prevails as reality. Self-awareness means the conscious awareness of the Soul hidden by the ‘I’. In Self-awareness, the reality of the universe fades away.

Sage Sankara says:~ Liberation comes only through the realization that Atman and Brahman are one in no other way. (1) Vivekachoodamani v 56, pg 25:~Santthosh Kumaar

Humanity has to awaken itself to the reality of its true existence. Humanity is a reality within the dualistic illusion or Maya.+

The Soul is everything because whatever exists as the universe is created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Humanity has to awaken itself to the reality of its true existence. Humanity is a reality within the dualistic illusion or Maya. The Soul, the Self is the Ancient One. The Soul is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.

The Soul has to wake up from its sleep of ignorance. Ignorance is the cause of experiencing the unreal universe as reality.

The universe is in the ‘I’ because the ‘I’ itself is the universe. Do not try to find the truth in the next world because the truth is hidden by the ‘I’.

Find out what is this ‘I’ in actuality.

That why Bhagavad Gita: ~ “You must first see the ‘I’ as illusory before you see others as illusory. ~ CH.2 v.16

The Soul does not change; all the changes are merely an illusion created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

As you go deeper in self-search you will realize the fact that ‘I’ itself is an illusion.

The ‘I’ appears and disappears but the Soul, the witness of the ‘I’ witnesses the coming and going, of the ‘I’.

That is why Bhagavad Gita: ~ The permanent is always there, only the transient ‘I’ comes and goes. (2.18)

The ‘I’ hides the Soul, the Self

People think the ‘I’ without the body is the Self. The seeker has to understand the fact that ‘I’ is not the Self, but the witness of the ‘I’ is the true Self, which is eternal.

That is why Ashtavakra Gita 16:10:~ If you desire liberation, but you still say "I," If you feel the ‘Self’ is the ‘I’, You are not a wise man or a seeker. You are simply a man who suffers.

People are stuck with the reality of the ‘I’, which they take as real because some Gurus have propagated the Self is the ‘I’. is no need to convince such mindsets. The seeker of truth accepts only the truth nothing but the truth.

If the ‘I’ is an illusion then the mind is bound to be an illusion.

If the ‘mind’ is an illusion then the form, time, and space are bound to be an illusion.

If the form, time, and space are an illusion then the universe is bound to be an illusion.

If the universe is bound to be an illusion then waking is bound to be an illusion.

If the waking is bound to be an illusion then the experiencing of the birth, life, death which happens within the universe is bound to be an illusion.

The illusion is created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness is real and eternal.

Consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.

Even Bhagavad Gita says: ~ Brahmano hi pratisthaham ~ Brahman (God) is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27).

When Bhagavad Gita says, God is considered the all-pervading consciousness which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material then nothing has to be accepted other than consciousness a God.

Even Brihadaranyaka Upanishad: ~ Brahman (God) is present in the form of the Athma, and it is indeed Athma itself.

Even Rig Veda: ~ The Atman is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman the innermost self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)

The world in which you exist is a dualistic illusion created out of the ‘Self’ which not you but the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Whatever you have seen, known, believed, and experienced is within the dualistic illusion. Thus, your existence is bound to an illusion created out of consciousness, which is real and eternal.

Like an ornament made from gold is Gold, that which is born out of consciousness is consciousness. Like gold is the permanent thing, in ornaments made of gold, similarly, the mind, which is in the form of the universe is born out of consciousness, is consciousness in its essence. Your realization of the Soul as God is the ultimate realization. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar
