All the doubts and confusion are based on holding the ‘Self’ as ‘I’. The ‘I’ itself is ignorance.+

All the doubts and confusion are based on holding the ‘Self’ as ‘I’. The ‘I’ itself is ignorance. Ignorance is the cause of experiencing the dualistic illusion or Maya as reality.

All your understanding is based on the dualistic perspective whereas the truth you are seeking is based on the nondualistic perspective. When your subconscious becomes receptive to the nondualistic truth then it will discard all the dualistic knowledge and accept only the non-dualistic truth, which is beyond the form, time, and space.

It takes time for the seeker to gain the perfect understanding of ‘what is the truth’ and ‘’what is untruth’. It takes time for the Soul, the innermost Self to wake up from the sleep of ignorance, and it takes time for one realizes the truth, which is beyond the form, time, and space.

Realize what this ‘I’ is, supposes to be in reality. A perfect understanding of ‘what is what’ discards all the doubts and confusion.

Sage Sankara says: - VC-47- All the effects of ignorance, root, and branch, are burnt down by the fire of knowledge, which arises from discrimination between these two—the Self and the not-Self.

Sage Sankara says: - VC-162- There is no liberation for a person of mere book-knowledge, howsoever well-read in the philosophy of Vedanta, so long as one does not give up the false identification with the body, sense-organs, etc., which are unreal.

Without knowing ‘what is this mind?’ people talk of destroying the mind. People are stuck thinking the mind is within their body and theorize and write books speculating and creating their own theory.

A deeper self-search reveals the fact that the ‘I’ is present in the form of mind. And the mind is in the form of the universe. And the universe appears as the waking or the dream (duality) and disappears as deep sleep (nonduality).

Self-realization is necessary to realize the mind, which is present in the form of the universe is merely an illusion. The mind cannot be destroyed because it is merely an illusion. When Advaitic wisdom dawns the unreal nature of the mind is exposed, the same way the unreal nature of the dream was exposed when waking takes place.

I am highlighting all the obstacles in the inner journey and how to overcome these obstacles. All accumulated knowledge is of no use in the Atmic path.

It is for every seeker, who is in the Atmic path is to realize himself “What is the truth? “and “What is untruth?” to assimilate the Self –Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. My postings are only signposts. The seeker needs to reflect constantly on the subject until the cobwebs of his doubts and confusion get cleared. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

The whole life they wasted by following their inherited religion, praying, and worshipping the mythical God propagated by the religion.+

Religious people believe the stories of Jesus who raised the dead and Krishna who picked a mountain as a reality but Jesus who raised the dead and Krishna who picked a mountain within the universe, which is the dualistic illusion. Whatever belongs to dualistic illusion is bound to be an illusion.

Mythological God and Goddesses based on the belief. The belief is not God. The belief implies duality. From the ultimate standpoint, the duality is merely an illusion. Thus, whatever one sees, knows, believes, and experiences within the dualistic illusion are bound to be an illusion.

Mythological stories are a myth. Whatever is based on myth is merely superstition. Mythology was introduced in the past for the ignorant masses. It has to be discarded as one progresses in his spiritual advancement.

Swami Vivekananda: This bending the knee to superstitions, this selling yourself to your own mind does not befit you, the Soul. Self is infinite, deathless, and birthless. Because the Self is infinite Spirit, it does not befit you to be a slave. ... Arise! Awake! Stand up and fight! Die if you must. There is none to help you. Self is the entire world. Who can help you? -

Mythology breeds superstition, blind belief, and senseless rituals, and most irrational and gives them a divine outlook.

Swami Vivekananda: ~ If superstition enters, the brain is gone. Superstition is our great enemy, but bigotry is worse.

Mythological contains stories of people with 10 with seven heads, etc., which are fables, yet are taken seriously by pundits.  All these stories are a reality within the dualistic illusion. The waking experience is a dualistic illusion.   Thus, whatever belongs to the dualistic illusion is bound to be a falsehood. In reality, there is no duality because there is only Oneness.

That the ancient sages had miraculous occult power and books relate stories of their feats are fairy tales were meant for children, women, and those whose minds had not developed.

When ‘Self’ is not ‘you’ then whatever you have seen, known believed, and experienced as reality is bound to be an illusion. Thus, Self-realization is necessary to realize your present the world in which you exist is merely an illusion.

If the present world in which you exist is merely an illusion, then whatever you believed as a real with the world in which you exist is bound to be an illusion.

Bhagavad Gita: ~ Brahmano hi pratisthaham ~ Brahman (God) is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27).

When Bhagavad Gita says, God is considered the all-pervading consciousness which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material then nothing has to be accepted as God other than consciousness

Religious Gods are not God in truth. One must know God in truth

Lord Krishna Says Ch ~V: ~ “Those who know the Self in truth.". The last two words (tattvataha) are usually ignored by pundits, but they make all the difference between the ordinary concept of God and the truth about God.

The dualistic worship of "God” is only for the ignorant populace. The God in truth is only Atman, the  ‘Self’. In reality, there is no duality,  no differentiation. Only Atman exists.

Vedas and Upanishad confirm the Soul, the  Self is present in the form of the Spirit or the consciousness.

Rig Veda: ~ The Atman (Soul or Spirit) is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman, the Self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)

Bible says: ~ “God is a Spirit, and they that worship God  must worship God  in spirit and in truth (John 4:24)”,

The Spirit is the root element of the universe. The Spirit is present in the form of the Soul, the  Self. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness. From the Spirit, the universe comes into existence. In the Spirit, the universe resides. And into the Spirit, the universe is dissolved. The Spirit is the parent of all that is there is.

Remember:~

People think God is somewhere, up there, monitoring every act of the people, guiding the lost, and uplifting the poor.

God is the one who punishes evil and rewards the benevolent. Some people even claim of seeing them in stone idols or some conceptual belief, in inanimate or living things. Is it our faith that makes us believe that there is some supreme power above us or is it a reality, can never be answered?

Until this conviction is there one is in the grip of physicality. The physicality keeps one in the ignorance of our true existence, which is formless, timeless, and spaceless.
There is a need to verify the fact that, the Self is not you but the Self is the Soul, the Spirit, or consciousness.
When one becomes aware of the fact that the spirit is the true Self, then one realizes the fact that whatever known, seen, believed, and experienced on the base of the false self is a falsehood.
The false self is a reality within the false experience. Thus, the man and his experience of the world and his beliefs and his accumulated knowledge is a falsehood, because the waking experience is merely an illusion from the standpoint of the Soul, the Self, which is present in the form of consciousness.
The whole life they wasted by following their inherited religion, praying, and worshipping the mythical God propagated by the religion.
Because of the fear of God's wrath injected by their religion people never bothered to know what God is supposed to be in actuality.
Religion, individualized God heaven, and hell, bondage, freedom, fear are based on the false self (waking entity or you) within the false experience (waking) is nothing to do with the formless Soul, the innermost ‘Self’.
The nature of the Soul is pure Awareness. In Self-awareness, there is no division, no differences, and no separation. To what should the Soul, the ‘Self’ has to cling when the Soul is ever formless.
The Soul the Self is present in the form of the Awareness, not a person.
What is the use of arguing on the base of the birth entity, which is not the Self?
When the Soul, the Self is unborn eternal then what is the use of knowing what happens after death
What is the use of thinking of heaven and hell when the ‘Self’ is not an individual and it is never born and never dies?

Non pursuing the truth of our true existence will keep the Soul in the cage of ignorance.
Ish Upanishad declares: ~ “Those people who have neglected the attainment of Self-knowledge and have thus committed suicide.
Those people who have neglected the attainment of Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana and have thus committed suicide, as it were, are doomed to enter those worlds after death. This is a condemnation of people who do not try to attain Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. : ~

Sage Sankara’s Advaitic wisdom becomes very easy to grasp when one gains soulcentric vision of the universe.+

Sage Sankara’s Advaitic wisdom becomes very easy to grasp when one gains a soulcentric vision of the universe.

If you intend to preach or teach Advaita you will never be able to grasp the Advaitic truth. Advaitic wisdom continually shared with humanity without any expectation and helps humanity to wake up to reality. The more you share more inner grace you gain.

Swami Vivekananda says as below. Advaita encompasses everything. Since Advaita requires heavy-duty intellectualism, it had to be progressively simplified. (From 'The Complete Works of Swami Vivekananda)

People dwelling in ignorance, but thinking themselves wise and erudite, go round and round by various blind beliefs and tortuous paths and practices, like the blind led by the blind.

Swami Vivekananda said:~ "The Vedas teach that the Soul is divine, only held in the bondage of matter; perfection will be reached when this bond will burst, and the word they use for it is, therefore, Mukthi - freedom, freedom from the bonds of imperfection, freedom from death and misery."

The truth is very simple, but it is very difficult to grasp because of ignorance. You have to only realize the world in which you exist is created out of single clay. And that single clay is the Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness.

Thus, you and your body and the world in which you exist are nothing but consciousness because they are merely an illusion created out of consciousness. A perfect understanding of ‘what is what’ is needed.

Ashtavakra Gita: ~ “Truly the dualism is the root of suffering. There is no other remedy for it than the realization that all this that we see is unreal and that the Soul, the innermost Self, is the one stainless reality, consisting of the consciousness”. 2:16

The sun, the moon, the stars, planets shine because of the Soul or Spirit. The Soul shines and all things else shine as a result. Everything in the universe reflects but that light of the Soul which is present in the form of consciousness. Merely knowing the truth is not enough to escape from the tangle of illusion.

The mind is in the form of the universe. From the standpoint of the Soul the innermost Self the universe is merely an illusion. The illusion arises from ignorance. Enlightenment comes with detachment from the illusion by realizing the experience of the form, time and space are one in essence.

Ashtavakra Gita: ~ “The Self is pure awareness though through ignorance the ‘Self has imagined itself to have additional attributes. By continually reflecting like this, the Self’s dwelling place is in the unimagined. 2:17

Ashtavakra Gita: ~ “For the Self, there is neither bondage nor liberation. The illusion has lost its basis and ceased. Truly all this exists in me, though ultimately it does not even exist in the Self. 2:18

By saying I know the truth; I know Brahman is not wisdom. The Truth is found only in the Unity of understanding that is the knowledge of both matter and spirit. That is the matter and the spirit, are one in essence. And that essence is the Spirit, which is present in the form of the Soul or consciousness.

When one knows matter and spirit together, one has “Gnana or wisdom." One must have the humility to get to the very root of the matter. Instead of discussing religion, religious Gods, and yoga, the seeker should dive into deeper self-search.

Deeper self-search will reveal that all fault lies because of holding the ‘I’ as the Self. People refuse to accept anything other than their accepted truth because they have accepted some Gurus’ words or teaching as the ultimate truth. These perceptions and attitudes block their realization of the Advaitic truth, which is beyond the form, time, and space. The seeker must be ready to correct wherever it is necessary and accept the truth and drop the untruth. This and change their attitude will change their perception of seeing the world from the dualistic perspective to the nondualistic perspective and then the world, in which they exist will never remain as reality again. Same way as a dream becomes unreal when waking takes place, the world, in which they exist becomes unreal when wisdom dawns: ~ Santthosh Kumaar

You have appeared along with the world and you will be disappearing along with the world exist.+

You and the world in which you exist are a reality within the dualistic illusion or Maya. Your individual experience of birth, life, death, and the world is nothing to do with the Soul, the Self, which is present in the form of consciousness. The happiness and suffering belong to you.

You have to die one day but you are death happens within the dualistic illusion or Maya. You have appeared along with the world in which you exist and you will be disappearing along with the world in which you exist. It is impossible to separate the world in which you exist from you.

This world in which you exist will disappear along with your death sooner or later. Why not then think that the world in which you exist does not exist in reality because the world in which you exist is merely an illusion created out of consciousness. Mentally reduce the world in which you exist as consciousness and rest in consciousness.

On the dualistic perspective, the world is real. On the non-dualistic perspective, the world is non-existent as a reality.

Those who see the world on the dualistic perspective see the world as reality and their knowledge is limited to form, time, and space.

On the non-dualistic perspective, the form, time, and space are one in essence.

The Advaitic path is not meant for those who see the world as a reality but for those who want to realize the truth hidden by the universe, which is the dualistic illusion or Maya.

Advaitic wisdom exposed the unreality of the universe. The universe is nothing but an illusion created out of single clay. That single clay is the Spirit or Soul or consciousness.

When you finally realize the ‘Self ‘ is not you but the ‘Self’ is the Soul then you will realize the world in which you exist is merely an illusion created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Thus, you and your experience birth, life, death, and the world merely an illusion created out of the consciousness, the consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God.

The world is both real and unreal. It is real because it is a manifestation of consciousness, but is unreal, in the sense, that it is not absolute and eternal like consciousness itself.

People's approach is more practical, and they stuck with the reality of the world, they take it as real. That is why all the confusion.

In Self-awareness, the witness and witnessed are one in essence. That essence is consciousness. There is no second thing that exists other than consciousness.

Thus, whatever seen, known, believed, and experienced as a person is a reality within the waking experience (duality) but waking experience (duality) itself is merely an illusion.

The look of an object will depend upon the medium through which the observer views it. In fact, our mental and intellectual conditions determine the world, observed, and experienced. The commoner viewing the world will see differently from a Gnani viewing the same world. Each one interprets the world that they see in terms of their existing knowledge. The commoner sees everything based on the ego, therefore, experiences the birth, life, death, and the world as a reality, whereas a Gnani sees everything as consciousness and he is fully aware of the fact that, there is no second thing that exists other than the Soul or consciousness.:~Santthosh Kumaar

Sage Sankara’s Advaitic wisdom is nothing but science which unfolded the mystery hidden by the universe 1200 years back.+

Advaitic wisdom deals with the whole universe. Sage Sankara’s Advaitic wisdom is nothing but the science which unfolded the mystery hidden by the universe 1200 years back. Sage Sankara’s Advaitic wisdom is nothing to do with religion, sect, and yoga.

Sage Sankara says:~ Self-knowledge cannot be attained by the study of the scriptures and intellectual understanding or by bookish knowledge. Therefore, there is no use in studying the scriptures and other holy books to acquire non-dualistic or Advaitic wisdom.

Scriptures mastery, the force of religious merit--none of these lead to the realization of that Ultimate Truth or Brahman. The ultimate truth is revealed in the clear understanding and realization of ‘what is truth and ‘what is the untruth?

When one realizes the untruth (universe) is created out of single stuff, then Self-awareness rises in the midst of duality exposing the unreal nature of the universe.

Sage Sankara: ~VC- if the universe is true, let it then be perceived in the state of deep sleep also. As it is not at all perceived, it must be unreal and false like dreams.

That is why Sage Sankara says without causing the objective universe to vanish and without knowing the truth of the ‘Self’ how is one to achieve Liberation by the mere utterance of the word Brahman? — It would result merely in an effort of speech.

Sage Sankara: ~ “VC~ All this universe which through ignorance appears as of diverse forms, is nothing else but Brahman which is free from all the limitations of human thought.

Fortunate is the one who does not lose themselves in the finding meaning of the words indicate in the scriptures.

Sage Sankara himself has warned us not to use ambiguous words and to practice semantic analysis in his book "Definition of one's Self. (" Page 199, v.24 of "Sankara's Selected Works)

Fortunate is the man who does not lose himself in the labyrinths of philosophy, but he tries to get the direct realization of truth hidden by ignorance.

Sage Sankara says: ~ V C-65- As a treasure hidden underground requires (for its extraction) competent instruction, excavation, the removal of stones and other such things lying above it and (finally) grasping, but never comes out by being (merely) called out by name, so the transparent Truth of the Self, which is hidden by Maya (illusion).

Mundaka Upanishad 1.3:~ “Complete knowledge includes knowledge of the phenomenal world, the spirit behind it, and the source of both of them. When the cause of all causes becomes known, then everything knowable becomes known, and nothing remains unknown.”

Sage Sankara says: - VC-47- “All the effects of ignorance, root, and branch, are burnt down by the fire of knowledge, which arises from discrimination between these two—the Self and the not-Self.

Sage Sankara says:~ VC-162- There is no liberation for a person of mere book-knowledge, howsoever well-read in the philosophy of Vedanta, so long as one does not give up the false identification with the body, sense organs, etc., which are unreal.

Second Mundaka - Chapter 2 (10)~The sun does not shine there, nor the moon and the stars, nor this lightning, not to speak of this fire. When the ‘the Soul, the Self’ shines, everything shines after Soul; by its light, everything is lighted.

The Soul appears as the universe in waking and the universe disappears as the Soul in deep sleep. The Soul is the universe and the universe is the Soul. The universe is merely an illusion created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. The illusion and reality are nothing but consciousness. Thus, consciousness alone is real and eternal.

Sage Sankara says: ~ V.63 - "Without knowing and examining the external world, one can’t know Truth, as the idea that the external world exists, won't go. It can go only by an inquiry into the nature of the external world.

The universe is verily consciousness. Without realizing ‘this truth is impossible to get Self- realization. The universe is not different from the Mind because the universe itself is the mind. The mind is not different from the Soul because the mind is the dualistic illusion created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Thus, the universe is nothing but consciousness. The universe is unreal because it is not absolute and eternal like consciousness.

It is impossible for any human being to challenge successfully the Advaitic position, as Sage Sankara says.

Sage Sankara says you must first know what is before you. If you cannot know that, what else can you know or understand? If you give up the external world in your inquiry, you cannot get the whole truth.

Ashtavakra Gita: ~ “The universe rises from the Soul, the innermost Self like bubbles from the sea. Thus know the Self to be One and in this way enter into the state of dissolution."

The Soul appears as the universe and the universe disappears as the Soul. The Soul is the universe and the universe is the Soul. The universe is merely an illusion created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. The illusion and reality are nothing but consciousness. Thus, consciousness alone is real and eternal.

Sage Sankara: ~ VC In the dream state, even though there is no contact with the outside world, the Soul alone projects the entire dream universe of enjoyer, enjoyment, etc. Similarly, the waking state is no different. All this world of pluralistic phenomena is illusory projection.

The universe will not vanish, when wisdom dawns, only the ignorance disappears and the unreal nature of the universe is exposed, the same way as the unreal nature of the dream exposed when the waking takes place. The wisdom dawns in the midst of duality because in reality there is no duality. Nothing is needed other than a perfect understanding of ‘what is what’ is needed.

The ultimate truth or Brahman cannot be experienced because it is prior to any experience. The experience belongs to individuality. And individuality is a falsehood. There is neither individual nor his experience in the Advaitic reality. The world in which you exist cannot exist without waking experience. Whatever we are discussing, we are discussing within the waking experience but from the ultimate standpoint, the waking experience itself is an illusion. Whatever is known, seen, believed, and experienced as a person within the dualistic illusion is bound to be an illusion?

This universe is nothing but the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. From the Soul, the universe appears and when the universe disappears from consciousness,  consciousness remains without any division of the form, time, and space.

Sage Sankara’:~ VC ~293 -“The whole objective world is non-real. Neither is the ego real, for it is seen to be momentary. How then can the apparent notion "I” be true when the universe itself is momentary?

The Soul is Advaita because the Soul is one without the second. The Advaita is present in the form of consciousness. Advaita is the root element of the universe. From the Advaita, the universe comes into existence. In the Advaita, the universe resides. And into the Advaita, the universe is dissolved. The Advaita is the parent of all that is there is.

Sage Sankara: ~ “VC~ 294- “But the real ‘Self’ witnesses the universe. and is always there, even in deep sleep. "It is Unborn, Eternal," as the Sruti itself says. It is the inmost Self, different from the (relative) truth and untruth.

We have one key from Sage Sankara and to be applied to every statement or assertion or speculations: It is “Is this true?” “Where is the proof?”

In Advaitic Self-awareness, the ego is not considered as ego, even though the ego is present, the body is not considered as a body even though the body is present, the world which confronts him is not considered as the world even though the world is present, the duality ceases even though the duality is present, because of wisdom everything is considered as consciousness. Thus there is conscious oneness.

Only in ignorance, the world in which we exist is an illusion created out of the Soul, the Self.

The world is both real and unreal. It is real because it is a manifestation of consciousness, but is unreal, in the sense, that it is not absolute and eternal like consciousness itself.

People's approach is more practical, and they stuck with the reality of the world, they take it as real. That is why all the confusion.

The look of an object will depend upon the medium through which the observer views it. Our mental and intellectual conditions determine the world, observed, and experienced. The commoner viewing the world will see differently from a Gnani viewing the same world. Each one interprets the world that they see in terms of their existing knowledge. The commoner sees everything based on the ego, therefore, experiences the birth, life, death, and the world as a reality, whereas a Gnani sees everything as consciousness and he is fully aware of the fact that, there is no second thing that exists other than the Soul or the consciousness. Thus, all the egocentric (religious) adulteration has to be bifurcated to realize the ultimate truth, which is beyond form, time, and space. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

When Sage Sankara says Brahman or God is impersonal and attributeless then why to worship God with form, names.+

When Sage Sankara says Brahman or God is impersonal and attributeless then why worship God with form, names, and attributes.

When Sage Sankara says Atman is Brahman or God then why to believe and accept anything as God other than the Atman.

Vedas say May ye never turn away from the Atman the innermost self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?

Then why worship non-Vedic Gods in place of Atman the real GOD. Self-realization is the truth- realization. Truth- realization is God-realization and God-realization is real worship.

Lord Krishna says Ch ~V: ~ “Those who know the Self in truth.". The last two words (tattvataha) are usually ignored by pundits, but they make all the difference between the ordinary concept of God and the truth about God.

One must realize the difference between the ordinary concept of God and the truth about God.

Bhagavad Gita: ~ ‘Brahmano hi pratisthaham’ ~ Brahman (God) is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27).

When Bhagavad Gita says: God is considered the all-pervading consciousness which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material then nothing has to be accepted as God other than consciousness.

The dualistic worship of "God” is only for the ignorant populace. The God in truth is only Atman, the Self. In reality, there is no duality, no differentiation. Only Atman exists.

The Vedas confirm God is Atman (spirit), the innermost Self.

Rig Veda: ~ The Atman is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman the innermost self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)

God and Goddess are religious concepts. Whatever seen, known, believed, and experienced as a person within the dualistic illusion (world) is a falsehood.

Sage Sankara’s Supreme Brahman (God) is impersonal, Nirguna (without Gunas or attributes), Nirakara (formless), Nirvisesha (without special characteristics), immutable, eternal, and Akarta (non-agent). It is above all needs and desires. It is always the Witnessing Subject. It can never become an object as it is beyond the reach of the senses. Brahman (God) is non-dual, one without a second. It has no other beside it. It is destitute of difference, either external or internal. Brahman (God) cannot be described because the description implies a distinction. Brahman (God) cannot be distinguished from any other than it. In Brahman (God), there is not a distinction between substance and attribute. Awareness constitutes the very essence of the true nature of Brahman (God) and not just its attributes. The attributeless Brahman of Sage Sankara is impersonal.

All those whose intelligence has been stolen by ignorance believe God as an individual and separate from their own existence.

The Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, is the ultimate truth of Brahman or God.

Sage Sankara declaration: ~ “Brahman (Soul) is the truth The World is Unreal everything is Truly Brahman (Soul) and nothing else has any value.

In Yajurveda – chapter- 32:~ It has been said that God Supreme or Supreme Spirit.

Rig Veda: ~ The Atman (Soul or Spirit) is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman the innermost ‘Self’. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)

Brihadaranyaka Upanishad: ~ Brahman (God) is present in the form of the Athma, and it is indeed Athma itself’.

Thus it refers to formless and attributeless God, which is the Atman (Soul), the innermost ‘Self’ within the false experience. Thus, it indicates clearly all the Gods with form and attributes are mere imagination based on the false ‘Self’. Thus, Atman or Soul, the ‘Self’ is God in truth.

Vedas speak of one God that is the supreme ‘Self’ in i.e. Atman or Soul. Vedas indicate clearly all the Gods with form and attributes are mere imagination based on the false self.

Rig Veda:~ Prajnanam Brahma: - Consciousness is the ultimate reality or Brahman or God in truth.

God in truth is neither personal nor impersonal because God in truth is not dualistic. God in truth is ever free from the dualistic limitation of form, time, and space.

From God in truth perspective, the form, time, and space are non-existent

If the form, time, and space are non-existent then the ‘I’ is non-existent

If the ‘I’ non-existence then the mind is non-existent

If the mind is non-existent then the universe is non-existent

If the universe is non-existent then the waking is nonexistent

If the waking is non-existent then God alone is real and eternal.

God in truth is hidden by the ‘I’. The ‘I’ is the dualistic illusion or Maya. You are part and parcel of the dualistic illusion or Maya.

The Soul is the cause of the dualistic illusion or Maya but the Soul itself is uncaused. The dualistic illusion is present in the form of the universe.

The form, time, and space are present in the form of the universe. The universe appears as waking or dream (duality) and disappears as deep sleep (nonduality).

Your existence is limited to the illusory form, time, and space. The form, time, and space are made of the same clay. That clay is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Knowledge of the single clay is Self –knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. Self –knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana helps the seeker to unfold the truth (God) hidden by the ‘I’, which is the dualistic illusion or Maya.

You have to draw your attention back every time it turns worldliness (I) and fix it in the Soul the Brahman or God in truth. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

A person who declares himself as Self-realized is not Self-realized.+

A person who declares himself as Self-realized is not Self-realized because he is unaware of the fact that he is not the Self but the Self is the Soul.

A person who realized the ultimate truth or Brahman will never declare he is Self-realized. If a person says he is Self-realized he is still ignorant.

If you think you are self-realized, but you still say "I," and if you feel the ‘Self’ is the ‘I’, you are not a Gnani. You are simply ignorant with your accumulated dualistic intellectual knowledge accumulated from here and there.

Upanishad's say:~ "He who thinks he knows, does not know." This means that to know anything implies a second, an object of knowledge, hence duality, i.e. no Gnana.

Ashtavakra Samhita: ~ "The man of knowledge (Gnani), though living like an ordinary man, is contrary to him and only those like him understand his state.

A person who realized the ultimate truth or Brahman will throw off his religious robe and all religious identity and lives like a commoner. He never identifies himself as Gnani nor does he identify himself as superior to others. He only shares his knowledge with fellow seekers.

A Gnani never identifies himself as a Guru or a Yogi or someone disciple. The one who accepts himself as a Guru or someone’s disciple is not a Gnani.

There is no liberation for a person of mere bookish -knowledge, howsoever well-read in the philosophy of Vedanta, so long as one does not give up the false identification with the body, sense-organs, etc., which are unreal.

Even friends and family members of a Gnani will not know him as the Gnani. Due to ignorance, people will not be able to recognize a Gnani. Outwardly the Gnani behaves as an ordinary person behaves. A Gnani talks and jokes like others, but he is not understood as he really is. People may regard him as an exceptional person, but only a few can recognize him as a Gnani.

Sage Sankara himself said: ~ A Gnani "bears no outward mark of a holy man" (Stanza 539).

Thus, it proves that the intellectual who declares himself he is self-realized, the religious Gurus and yogis are not Gnanis because they identified themselves as holy people. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar
