Realizing God in truth in this very life is your goal. God-realization itself is real worship.+

To realize the ultimate truth or Brahman or God is the prime goal. All the scriptures indicate that Atman is Brahman, and Brahman is the ultimate truth. Therefore, the Soul, which is in the form of consciousness, is the ultimate truth. Thus, to realize the ultimate truth is the prime goal.

As indicated in ISH Upanishads: ~ “By worshipping Gods and Goddesses you will go after death to the world of Gods and Goddesses. But will that help you? The time you spend there is wasted because if you were not there you could have spent that time moving forward towards Self-knowledge, which is your goal. In the world of Gods and Goddesses, you cannot do that, and thus you go deeper and deeper into darkness.

It clearly indicates that:-If the human goal is to acquire Self-Knowledge then why one has to indulge in rituals and glorifying the conceptual Gods, Goddesses, and Gurus to go into deeper darkness. Instead spend that time moving forward towards Self-knowledge, which is one’s prime goal.

"There is no higher or lower goal within the dualistic illusion (world). There is only one goal, Self-Realization."

India is the ancient land, where wisdom made its home India whose soil has been trodden by the feet of the greatest sages of truth like Bhagavan Buddha, Sage  Sankara, and Sage Goudpada.

India is the fountainhead of Advaitic wisdom. Advaitic wisdom is brighter, greater which unfolds the mystery of the universe, which contains the whole of humanity.

Today the humanity needs universal brotherhood and peace for the whole of humanity to live with love and harmony not to indulge in the blood bath in the name of protecting religion and its religious Gods.

The goal of every human being is to realize God in truth. The truth is inherent in every seeker of truth. The truth does not come from outside, it is hidden within the world by which we exist. Thus, humanity has to wake up and seek the truth.

Tattireya Upanishad: ~ “The Self in man and in the sun is one. Those who understand this see through the world and go beyond the various sheaths of being to realize the unity of life.

The path of Knowledge is nothing to do with japa or repetition of a mantra. All the japa and japa or mantras based on mythical God will not yield fruits.

If sow neem seed and expect mango to grow on neem tree is a hallucination. You must sow only mango seed to get a mango tree to get mangos from the mango tree.

Similarly, you must know what God is supposed to be in actuality and sow the right seed in your subconscious in order to realize God in truth.

Gradually one becomes aware of God in truth by getting rid of the ignorance and will be able to establish the Soul, the real God in the subconscious.

All the form and attributes based gods are a myth. Worshipping such Gods barred by Vedas.

God in truth is not tasty and it is a bitter pill to swallow. Religion made its God tasty with its mythical toppings. Every region has created its own myth and propagated its own GOD to the ignorant populace. Religion is the cause of separation of the humanity. Today humanity is facing wars, violence, terrorism, in the name of religious God and religion.

Democracy and religion will not go hand in hand. Democracy has its own code of conduct and religion has its own. So there is always conflict. Religion is outdated to suit modern society.

Until and unless the whole of humanity is made aware what God is in truth is the truth of true existence not what we believe and worship.

God in truth is not religious. God is universal and belongs to the whole of humanity. All Gods of the beliefs are mere imaginary.

Bible says: ~ “God is a Spirit, and they that worship God must worship God in spirit and in truth (John 4:24)”,

The Spirit is the root element of the universe. The Spirit is present in the form of the Soul, the innermost Self. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness. From the Spirit, the universe comes into existence. In the Spirit, the universe resides. And into the Spirit, the universe is dissolved. The Spirit is the parent of all that is there is.

Yajurveda – chapter- 32:~ God is the Supreme Spirit.

Vedas and Upanishad confirm the Soul, the innermost Self, is present in the form of the Spirit or the consciousness.

Even Rig Veda: ~ The Atman is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman the innermost self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)

Even Brihadaranyaka Upanishad: ~ Brahman (God) is present in the form of the Athma, and it is indeed Athma itself.

Even Bhagavad Gita says: ~ Brahmano hi pratisthaham ~ Brahman (God) is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27).

When Bhagavad Gita says, God is considered the all-pervading consciousness which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material then nothing has to be accepted as God other than consciousness.

Brihadaranyaka Upanishad:~ "He who worships the deities as entities entirely separate from him does not know the truth. For the Gods, he is like a pasu (beast)". (1. 4. 10)

It is time; humanity has to become fanatics of the truth to bring universal brotherhood and universal peace. The truth is the only thing that can cure all myths propagated by the belief system, which has become the cause of concern for humanity.

Remember:~

The Advaitic truth is very simple. It is very difficult to realize because it is lost in the dualistic knowledge we inherited, collected from different sources, different masters’ different Gurus, different philosophies, different ideologies, different books, and scriptures. All this accumulated knowledge is a mere hill of Garbage.

Nothing is needed other than realizing the knowledge of the single stuff. The single stuff is the cause of the world in which we exist. And that single stuff itself is causeless. That single stuff is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

The Soul is the Self. Knowledge of the Soul, the Self, is Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. Atma Gnana is knowledge of God in truth.

Realizing God in this very life is your goal. God-realization itself is real worship.

A perfect understanding of ‘what is what’ is needed. Only an intense urge to know the truth, humility sincerity, and patience are the only qualifications to realize God in this very life and in this very world.

All your religious-based accumulated knowledge will block you from realizing the truth, which is beyond the form, time, and space. Be more rational in your thinking. Your religious conditioning will not allow you to cross the domain of the ‘I’.

Until you hold all the religious ideas the Soul will remain in the cage of ignorance. Drop your entire accumulated knowledge drop all the physical Gurus, the Soul the inner Guru, is waiting for you to take the first step for you to realize there are no more steps.

You will realize you, your body, and your experience of the world is nothing but consciousness. Thus, you will realize the God (Soul) is the fullness of consciousness. Everything is God nothing but God. Do not waste time attending sermons and Satsang. Real Satsanga is reflecting on Soul, which is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God.

All my writings are an inner revelation to show the truth hidden under the garbage of religion and theories, beliefs, and ideology.

There is no need to condemn religion, and theories, beliefs, and ideology, but the seeker’s aim is to drop what is not the truth and accept only the truth beyond the form, time, and space. Whatever belongs to form, time and space are not the truth because the nature of the Soul is the formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.: ~ Santthosh Kumaar

The truth unfolds very gradually as the seeker spiritually matures.+

Bhagavad Gita: ~ Brahmano hi pratisthaham ~ Brahman (God) is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27).

Rig Veda:~ 'Prajnanam Brahma'- Consciousness is the ultimate reality or Brahman or God in truth.

There is nothing that exists prior to consciousness. The ‘I’ cease to exist without consciousness. The Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.

The world in which we exist is nothing but an illusion created out of consciousness. The seeker gradually becomes aware, the truth as he gets spiritually matured.

The seeker is not conscious of the truth which is hidden by the world in which he exists until he seeks the truth of his true existence. The truth unfolds very gradually as the seeker spiritually matures.

The seeker gets established in Soul awareness when he realizes the Self is not the ‘I’ but the ‘Self’ is the Soul. The Soul is the fullness of consciousness without the division of the form, time, and space.

The seeker must realize the ‘I’ is the cause of ignorance. Without the ‘I’ the world in which he exists ceases to exist.

On his own effort, the Secker will be able to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

My main intention is to divert the seeker's attention to the source from where the mind (universe) rises and subsides.

Reading and reflecting on my blogs and postings gradually, the seekers will start assimilating and realizing ‘what is the truth’ and what the untruth is. Repeated reading my blogs and postings make the seeker, Soulcentric, and the inner dialogue will start and clear all the doubts and confusion.

When there are no doubts and confusion, then they have realized the truth that the form, time, and space are one in essence. And that essence is consciousness.

There is no use in wasting time in questioning and arguing same time and effort has to be used to make the seeker more independent and without external spoon-feeding, he can reach the inner core, which is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

The words that mean different things to different people, it is what's behind the words, between the lines that matter. Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is meant for the class, not for the mass. : ~Santthosh Kumaar

A Gnani sees the universe which confronts him as consciousness.+

Mundaka Upanishad:~ As rivers flow into the sea and in so doing lose name and form, so even the wise man, freed from name and form, attains the Supreme Being, the Self-luminous, the Infinite. He who knows Brahman becomes Brahman. ~ 3.2.8-

A Gnani sees the universe which confronts him as consciousness. Gnani sees everything he sees as consciousness because he is fully aware of the fact his body and the world in which he exists are merely an illusion created out of consciousness. Consciousness is nothing but God in truth.

In Self-awareness, There is neither seer nor seen. In Self-awareness, the Soul remains in its own awareness in the midst of the dualistic illusion or Maya.
The Soul is the fullness of consciousness without the illusory division of illusory form, time, and space.
Like an ornament made from gold is Gold, that which is born out of consciousness is consciousness. Like gold is the permanent thing, in ornaments made of gold, similarly, the mind, which is in the form of the universe is born out of consciousness, is consciousness in its essence.
The Soul is everything and is everything is nothing but consciousness. The Soul is infinite and the dualistic illusion filled by the infinite.
A Gnani sees consciousness everywhere and everything in the universe, which is the dualistic illusion. A Gnani is fully aware of the fact that the world in which he exists is nothing but an illusion created out of consciousness.
Advaita is the hidden secret wisdom of the Sages of truth. We contemplate that reality in which everything exists, to which everything belongs, and from which everything has emerged, which the cause of everything is, and which everything is.
A Gnani sees only unity in diversity, just like a goldsmith estimating the gold in various items of jewelry sees only gold. When one identifies the Self with the form then only the form, time and space are present. But when one transcends the form, time, and space the duality never remains as reality. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

In reality, there is neither the ‘Seer’ nor the ‘Seen’ because the ‘Seer’ and ‘Seen’ are one in essence.+

Whatever is the ‘Seen’ or ‘Known’ is the Soul. The ‘Seer’ or the knower also is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. In reality, there is neither the ‘Seer’ nor the ‘Seen’ because the ‘Seer’ and ‘Seen’ are one in essence.
Consciousness alone remains after one gets rid of ignorance. Consciousness is only the ‘Seer’; it is not Brahman that is an error. It becomes Brahman only after ignorance vanishes through Advaitic wisdom.

 The Seer and the Seen.

The Seer is the subject and Seen is an object.

The Seer is the Soul, the  Self.

The Seen is the ‘I'.

The ‘I’ appears and disappears.

The Soul sees the appearance and disappearance of the ‘I’.

The Soul is permanent and real.

The ‘I’ is impermanent because it appears and disappears.

This is your bondage, that you hold the Self as the ‘I'.

That is why Bhagavad Gita: ~ The permanent (consciousness) is always there, only the transient ‘I’ comes and goes. (2.18)

The ‘I’ hides the Soul, the Self.

Bhagavad Gita: ~ “You must first see the ‘I’ as illusory before you see others as illusory. ~ CH.2 v.16

Sage Sankara says the transparent Truth of the Self, which is hidden by the illusion, is to be attained through the instructions of a knower of Brahman, (Gnani)

~ then why you are sticking to a Guru who is not a Gnani.

Sage Sankara says ~ “The exercise in discrimination between real and unreal and renunciation of the false leads truth realization.

Atman is Brahman. The Atman is the Self is non-dual because there is no second thing that exists other than the Atman. Atman is present in the form of consciousness. Consciousness is the only true reality, and everything else, which appears as form, time, and space is merely an illusion.

There is nothing that exists prior to consciousness. The ‘I’ cease to exist without consciousness. The Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

When the conviction about consciousness becomes firm then everything falls into the right slot.+

If you hold the Self as you then the ignorance will be more and more deep-rooted. Whatever you hold, whatever you cling, whatever you stick it is within the dualistic illusion or Maya.

The dualistic illusion or Maya is nothing to do with the Soul, the Self, which is present in the form of the consciousness

Remember: ~

First, realize the ‘Self is not within you. You are bound by the experience of the birth, life, death, and the world whereas the ‘Self is birthless and deathless because it is an ever formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.

The Soul is the Self. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness. Consciousness is the cause of the world in which you exist and it itself is uncaused.

The consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God. On the standpoint of the Soul, the innermost Self the world in which you exist is merely an illusion. Thus, the world in which exists hides the Soul, which is the real God.

Till you think the ‘Soul, the Self’ as you, you will never be able to realize God in truth.

God in truth is not limited to you but it pervades in everything and everywhere in the world in which you exist.

You are with the body. You are born in this world. You are living in this world and you are going to die in this world. The world itself is an illusion.

When the ‘Self’ is not you but the ‘Self is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness then what is the use of discussing about the birth, life, death, and the world because the one which is born, lives and dies is not the ‘Self. The Soul is birthless and deathless because it is the ever formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.

You are the birth entity. Your existence is limited to form, time, and space. Your religion, your religious Gods your beliefs, your religious rituals and prayers, your race, your nationality are nothing to do with the Soul, the ‘Self’ because the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness itself is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.

It is not you have to establish in consciousness but by realizing you, and your experience of the world is nothing but an illusion created out of consciousness the Self-awareness raise in the midst of the dualistic illusion or Maya.

Mentally reduce the world in which you exist into consciousness by realizing the world in which you exist is nothing but the consciousness. If everything is consciousness then how can anything exist which is not consciousness?

When the conviction about consciousness becomes firm then everything falls into the right slot.

Self-realization is very much necessary to realize the world is an illusion. Until and unless you realize the Self is not you but the Self is the Soul Self-realization is an impossibility. :~Santthosh Kumaar

You have to mentally reduce the universe as consciousness by realizing the world in which we exist is nothing but consciousness.+

Some Gurus say go within and discover 'what you are not, nothing else matters. Such statements misdirect your quest for truth.

By knowing 'what you are not' hidden by the ignorance will not be revealed.
You have appeared along with the universe, therefore, you must include the universe in your inquiry.
The Self not you to find out who you are but you must find out the truth of the universe.
Sage Sankara says ~ “VC~ 63. Without causing the objective universe to vanish and without knowing the truth of the ‘Self’ how is one to achieve Liberation by the mere utterance of the word Brahman? — It would result merely in an effort of speech.
Sage Sankara says ~ A. A 88- When the whole universe, movable and immovable, is known to be Atman, and thus the existence of everything else is negated, where is then any room to say that the body is Atman?
You have to mentally reduce the universe as consciousness by realizing the world in which we exist is nothing but consciousness.
Sage Sankara: ~ “VC~ All this universe which through ignorance appears as of diverse forms, is nothing else but Brahman (Consciousness) which is absolutely free from all the limitations of Maya.
When you finally realize the ‘‘Self’ ‘is not you but the ‘‘Self’’ is the Soul then you will realize the world in which you exist is merely an illusion created out of the Soul. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness.
SageSankara: ~ VC~.63: "Without knowing and examining the universe, one can’t know the Truth, as the idea that the external world exists, won't go. It can go only by an inquiry into the nature of the external world.
Sage Sankara says: ~ “What is accepted without a proper inquiry will not lead a person to the final goal. On the contrary, such acceptance will result only in evil, in something detrimental to our spiritual progress.
Go within means think, reason, and reflect deeply and find out how this world in which you exist came into existence. The world in which you exist is not different from the Soul, which is present in form of consciousness because the universe is made of consciousness. Thus, consciousness alone is and all else (universe) is merely an illusion. Thus, the illusion is not different from consciousness, which the ultimate truth, or Brahman or God in truth.
Perfect understanding of ‘what is what leads to the realization of the truth, which is beyond the form, time, and space.:~ Santthosh Kumaar

Many centuries back orthodoxy barred and restricted women from studying scriptures restricted women only to household and bearing children.+

Many centuries back orthodoxy barred and restricted women from studying scriptures restricted women only to household and bearing children. In modern days, women are capable has more capable of grasping truth as in the Vedic era.

Rig Veda is the only scripture among those of all religions in which the Divine Truths are revealed to women sages also and some of these hymns describing the revelation find a prominent place in the Rig Veda Samhita like the hymn (10.125) (tenth mandala, 125 sūkta or hymn) attributed to the woman sage Vāk Ambriņi. There are more than thirty women Sages in Rig Veda with specific hymns associated with them.

In all the Semitic religions, there is no mention of any revelation to women, and no woman is listed among the prominent disciples of the founders or prophets of those religions.

There are numerous hymns in the Rigveda indicating the high status accorded to women in the Vedic society. Rig Veda (10.27.12) explicitly states that the practice of a lady choosing her own husband was in vogue.

The hymn (10.85), the marriage hymn, explicitly states that the daughter-in-law should be treated as a queen, sāmrājni, by all the family members especially the mother-in-law, husband, father-in-law.

In Rig Veda (10.85.26) the bride was exhorted to address the assembly; to be asked to address the assembly was regarded as an honor by most of the Sages. Women were not oppressed in Vedic times. First, one has the Hinduism is not the ancient Vedic religion or Santana Dharma.

It is in Hinduism we find women were oppressed. Women were not oppressed in the Vedic times, but high status accorded to women in the Vedic society.

Even today, some Orthodox persons deny the right of chanting the Veda to women. However, they cannot cite any authoritative Scripture to support their views. Any book in Sanskrit cannot be accepted as scripture or divine revelation.

Women Sages:~

Women saints and sages of India have been given less importance, for several reasons obvious to anyone studying history...

In the medieval period, women were confined to homes and according to some moral codes, women were not allowed to study scriptures and chant mantras while mantras were invoked as female deities or Goddesses.

The Vedic rishis had wives who were learned women and took part in philosophical discussions. The crippling social practices for women, considering them as inferior, unfit for scriptural studies were introduced by male-dominated societies...While women monastics or nuns were introduced in Buddhism; it was not a common practice to have nuns in Hindu monastic orders until recent times.

Sage Sankara has philosophical disputes and debates with an equally great scholar, Mandana Mishra. Mishra's learned wife Bharathi served as the umpire.

Sage Sri, Sankara says ~ in Mand.P.351 and also in Vivekachoodamani, that even women can realize truth if they persist.

Thus, it proves that Sage Sankara wanted even women to acquire Advaitic wisdom whereas the Orthodox Advaitins Bars women from indulging in the path of wisdom.

Sage Sankara says:~ that even women can realize the truth if they persist. (Mand.P.351 and also in Vivekachoodamani)

Some of the quotations given by these critics are from the period of the sutra books which are dated more than two thousand years later than the Rigveda. Naturally, these critics suppress quotations that speak of the high status of women in the society of the Rig Vedic period and the period of Upanishads.

There is no evidence to support the orthodox claims that Veda bars study scriptures and chant mantras. Women confined to homes. The Vedic culture is different than the Hindu culture.

Hinduism is the groups of caste and creed with diverse beliefs and culturally diverse is nothing to do with ancient Vedic religion or Santana Dharma. It is an error to identify the Vedic religion as Hinduism because Hinduism is the non-Vedic belief system. :~

Rigveda prohibits: ~ “The very concept of castes by birth, upper/lower castes, superior/inferior castes, outcastes, untouchables, Dalits.+

It is argued that the purushasukta hymn of the Rig Veda (X.90) which is often referred to in order to give a religious sanction to the caste system was a later interpolation.

Rigveda prohibits: ~ “The very concept of castes by birth, upper/lower castes, superior/inferior castes, outcastes, untouchables, Dalits,
Bhagavata clearly says in 7.11.35 that: ~ “Just because one is born to a Brahmin doesn’t automatically make him a Brahmin. But he has more chances of becoming a Brahmin by acquiring Self- knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. Self- knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is the only qualification of Brahmin to become a Brahmin. If a person born to a non-Brahmin who acquires Self- knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana possesses he/she should be immediately accepted as a Brahmin.”
In the Vedic era, a Brahmin was a person who had acquired Self- knowledge or Brahma Gnana Atma Gnana. This was an extremely difficult path of the discipline of body, mind, and intellect, and people irrespective of their birth or class, who dedicated to such an austere life, were recognized as Brahmins.
A great example of this tradition (that a person becoming a Brahmin, rather than born as one) in the case of Vishwamitra, a warrior (Kshatriya), who became a Brahmin after attaining Atma Jnana or Self-Knowledge.
A Smritis or code of conduct composed by sage Atri defines Brahminhood very clearly.
"By birth, every man is a Shudra (an ignorant person). Through various types of disciplines (samskaras), he becomes a dwija (twice-born). Through the studies of scriptures, he becomes a vipra (or a scholar). Through the realization of supreme spirit (Brahmajnana), he becomes a Brahmin.”
The belief that people born in the Brahmin caste, automatically become Brahmins, is a much later concept in very ancient India. Thus, Brahmin means not a caste but one who has attained Atma Jnana or Brahma Jnana.
By birth everyone is Shudra only with Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Brahma Gnana it is possible for every Shudra to become a Brahmin. Those who identify themselves as Brahmins caste without Brahmajnana are not Brahmins.
Religion and caste and creed are nothing to do with God. Humanity itself is a religion. Love and peace and equanimity are much necessary to discard the religion and sect which breeds hatred, violence in the name of God and religion.

Santana Dharma deserves to be treated on its own as a distinct religion with its own sacred texts and practices without inter-linking it with Hinduism.

Remember:~
It is for the Prime Minister of India and the Indian Judiciary to recognize all the castes which come under Hinduism are entitled to get minority status because all the castes of Hinduism indulge in believing, worshipping non-Vedic Gods and non-Vedic rituals, and having their own code of conducts. The Vedas and Sanatana Dharma are nothing to do with the present caste infected Hinduism.
The word Hindu holds all the caste together. By removing the Hindu tag from castes all the present minority religions become the majority and all the Hindus belonging to the castes become a minority. :~Santthosh Kumaar

The Vedic religion or Sanatana Dharma, which existed prior to Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism.+

The Vedic religion or Sanatana Dharma, which existed prior to Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism.

The Vedic religion or Sanatana Dharma is nothing to do with present-day Hinduism.
The goal of the Vedic religion or Sanatana Dharma is to realize that the consciousness (Atman) is actually nothing but Brahman or God in truth.
The Vedic pantheon of Gods is said, in the Vedas and Upanishads, to be the only higher manifestations of Brahman. For this reason, "ekam sat" (all is one), and all is Brahman.
Thus, the goal is to realize Atman, which is present in the form of consciousness as the Self. If Atman or consciousness is nothing but Brahman and by realizing Atman (consciousness) as Brahman or the ultimate truth is the truth- realization or Self-Realization, then there is no need to follow a religion, study scriptures or glorifying Gods or Gurus and follow the path of doubts and confusion by losing oneself in the labyrinths of philosophy, when there is an easier path.
By mentally tracing the source of the mind from where it rises and subsides one becomes aware of the fallacy of the mind, which rises as waking or dream and subsides as deep sleep. The mind raises from consciousness and subsides as the consciousness.
Brihadaranyaka Upanishad: ~ “The Self is indeed Brahman, but through ignorance, people identify it with intellect, mind, senses, passions, and the elements of earth, water, air, space, and fire. This is why the Self is said to consist of this and that and appears to be everything.
In the Vedas, God has been described as: ~
Rig-Veda 1-164-46 and Y.V 32-1 clearly mention that God is “One”.
Rig Veda: ~ The Atman is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman the innermost self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)
Yajurveda – chapter- 32:~ God is Supreme Spirit has no ‘Pratima’ (idol) or material shape. God cannot be seen directly by anyone. God pervades all beings and all directions.

Thus, Idolatry does not find any support from the Vedas.
Thus, it refers to formless and attributeless God, which is the Atman (Soul), the innermost Self within the false experience. Thus, it indicates clearly all the Gods with form and attributes are mere imagination based on the false self. Thus Atman or Soul, the innermost ‘Self’ is God.
The Vedas do not talk about idol worship. In fact, until about 2000 years ago followers of Vedism never worshiped idols. Idol worship was started by the followers of Buddhism and Jainism. There is logic to idol worship. Vedas speak of one God that is the supreme Self in i.e. Atman or Soul but Hinduism indulges in worshiping 60 million Gods.
Yajurveda says: - If one worships anything else as God in place of real God. :~
Translation 1

They enter darkness, those who worship natural things (for example air, water, sun, moon, animals, fire, stone, etc.).
They sink deeper in darkness those who worship sambhuti. (Sambhuti means created things, for example, table, chair, idol, etc.) - (Yajurveda 40:9)
Translation 2
"Deep into the shade of blinding gloom fall asambhuti's worshippers. They sink to darkness deeper yet who on sambhuti is intent. ("Yajurveda Samhita by Ralph T. H. Giffith pg 538)
Translation 3
"They are enveloped in darkness, in other words, are steeped in ignorance and sunk in the greatest depths of misery who worship the uncreated, eternal Prakriti -- the material cause of the world -- in place of the All-pervading God, But those who worship visible things born of the Prakriti, such as the earth, trees, bodies (human and the like) in place of God are enveloped in still greater darkness, in other words, they are extremely foolish, fall into an awful hell of pain and sorrow and suffer terribly for a long time." -(Yajur Veda 40:9.)
So, Yajur Veda indicates that:-
They sink deeper in darkness those who worship sambhuti. (Sambhuti means created things, for example, table, chair, idol, etc. - (Yajurved 40:9)
Those who worship visible things born of the Prakriti, such as the earth, trees, bodies (human and the like) in place of God are enveloped in still greater darkness, in other words, they are extremely foolish, fall into an awful hell of pain and sorrow, and suffer terribly for a long time."-(Yajur Veda 40:9.)
The Hindus believed in polytheism, believing all of their Gods to be separate individuals, which were introduced much later by the founders of Hinduism which contains diverse beliefs caste, and creed.
When the religion of the Veda knows no idols then why so many Gods and Goddesses with different forms and names are being propagated as Vedic Gods. Why these conceptual Gods are introduced when the Vedic concept of God is free from form and attributes. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar
