Sage Sankara says:~ All the effects of ignorance, root, and branch, are burnt down by the fire of knowledge.+



Deeper self-search reveals the fact that the ‘I’ itself ignorance.

If the ‘I’ is ignorance then the mind also is ignorance.

If the mind is ignorance, then the universe also is a state of ignorance.

If the universe is ignorance then waking also is the state of ignorance.

If the waking is ignorance then the individual experience of the birth, life, death, and the world also is the state of ignorance.

If the individual experience of birth, life, death, and the world is the state of ignorance then the duality also is the state of ignorance.

Realize the fact that ‘I’ is the cause of ignorance. Therefore, getting rid of the ‘I’ is getting rid of ignorance.

Without realizing what is this ‘I’ it is impossible to get rid of the ignorance without getting rid of the ignorance Advaitic wisdom will not Dwan.

What is Advaitic Gnana? Advaitic Gnana is Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

Advaitic Gnana is knowledge of the single stuff. The stuff is consciousness. Consciousness is only one. One becomes many and many become One. That is the Soul (Self) becomes the mind (universe) and the mind becomes the Soul.
The universe is present in the form of matter and the Soul is present in the form of the Spirit. The Spirit becomes the matter and matter becomes the Spirit. The matter and the Spirit are one in essence. The matter is unreal and impermanent.
The Spirit (consciousness) is real and permanent. There is no second thing other than the Spirit. The Spirit is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God or God in truth.

The Spirit (Soul or consciousness) is the innermost Self. Therefore, The Soul, the  Self is Brahman or God in truth.

Sage Sankara says: ~ Atman is Brahman. The Atman alone is real is not religious truth. Sage Sankara declared this Advaitic truth, which the ultimate truth to the whole world, many centuries back is the rational truth, scientific truth, and the ultimate truth.

Thus, the Soul (Atman) which is present in the form of consciousness is real and eternal, the world in which we exist is merely an illusion.

The garbage of the religious beliefs dogmas superstition is confounded with the human imagination. The great reality of the glory of the religious Gods is hyped and obscured by so much tinsel and commercialism.

Spirituality is not theology. Advaita is not a philosophy but Advaita is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God. Advaita is Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana or knowledge of the Spirit or GOD.

The word “Advaita” means one without the second. Advaita essentially refers to the Atman and the whole existence. Advaita is the fullness of consciousness without the division of the form, time, and space.

Theology is nothing to do with spirituality. Advaita is pure spirituality. The theological Advaita is nothing to do with the Advaitic wisdom, which is based on the Spirit the Atman.

Theological Advaita is conceptual having its own doctrine is nothing to do with the Gnanic Advaita because Gnanic Advaita is Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

Both approaches are not working together because the theological Advaita is based on the birth entity (ego) Gnanic Advaita is based on the Atman (Soul).

Thus, the theological Advaita has to be discarded without mercy to get Advaitic Gnana.

“Advaita” is a term used variously to express the unity of reality. Advaita is unity in diversity.

The seeker has to begin by defining "What is real?" "What is unreal? to establish in Advaitic reality by sheer reasoning alone.

The reasoning is the right way to realize the truth, which is beyond form, time, and space. People must first know what is the truth? and what is untruth’.

Sage Sankara’s wisdom is not teaching or philosophy but Advaita is the universal wisdom. Advaitic wisdom is neither a teaching nor a theory but it is mere guidance to those who are seriously seeking the ultimate truth or Brahman. Grasp the ultimate truth anytime, any age, if the seeker has the spiritual maturity and capacity to grasp it.

It really depends on his inborn natural capacity to understand and assimilate it. Sage Sankara’s wisdom is a Self-examiner, to test oneself to discover how near to Gnana he has approached and what progress has already been made on the path, and what still remains to be done. It sets up a criterion for Self-judgement. There are millions in search of truth but one in million will be able to grasp it.

Without Sage Sankara, there is no Advaita (nonduality). Since it was mixed up with orthodoxy there is a lot of confusion. I am highlighting all the obstacles, which is blocking one from realizing the ultimate truth or Brahman. There are so many non-dualistic masters of the east and also from the west who expound Advaitic or non-dualistic knowledge but none of them are helpful to reach the ultimate end.

One has to know and realize his innermost Self is Soul and identify it as his true identity to find liberation from the bondage of the illusion of birth, life, death, and the world(duality). The goal of our life is to find and realize our identity with our Soul, which is our innermost Self.

Sage Sankara said:~ Neither by the practice of yoga nor philosophy, nor by good works nor by learning, does liberation come, but only through the realization that Atman and Brahman are one in no other way. (1) Vivekachoodamani v 56, pg. 25

To come to a more precise understanding of what non-duality is or might mean, we must return to the original linguistic and philosophic backgrounds from which the word has been translated into English.

If we limit a probe of the meaning of non-duality to Hindu Sanskrit literature, we find that the most frequently used term is “Advaita.

Advaita” is not a religious concept. Advaita is the nature of the existence hidden by the form, time, and space. The seeker has to attempt to rule out from the start a false understanding of reality by perfect understanding of ‘what is what’.

The Advaita is hidden by the Dvaita. Advaita is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. Dvaita is the universe.

Advaita is basically a denial; it is literally the negation of the Dvaita. That means whatever remains by negating the universe by realizing the universe is created out of single clay and that clay is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, the hidden truth by Dvaita uncovered. Consciousness is the cause of the universe and it itself is uncaused. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Sage Sankara denies emphatically any one book contain all the truths about Brahman or God in truth.+

A donkey with a load of holy books is still a donkey. A person who mastered scriptural knowledge is still a scholar, not a Gnani.

Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana cannot be surmised by merely reading the Vedas and Upanishads.

Ashtavakra:~There is no wisdom whatsoever in the scriptures-just a collection of words.

The seeker should not bother about finding the meaning of what is written in the scriptures.

It is impossible to realize the Self through bookish knowledge. A feeling of profound respect for physical Guru is still more difficult to uphold. If you are seeking truth know must not cling to any physical Guru or his teaching.

Sage Sankara himself had often said that his philosophy was based on Shruti, or revealed scripture. This may be because, Sage Sankara addressed the ordinary man, who finds security in the idea of causality and thus, in the idea of God—and Revelation is indispensable to prove the latter. He believed that those of superior intelligence, have no need of this idea of divine causality, and can, therefore, dispense with Shruti and arrive at the truth of Advaita by pure reason.

Sage Sankara says: ~ VC-162- There is no liberation for a person of mere book-knowledge, howsoever well-read in the philosophy of Vedanta, so long as one does not give up the false identification with the body, sense organs, etc., which are unreal.

Tripura Rahasya: ~ Second-hand knowledge of the Self-gathered from books or Gurus can never emancipate a man until its truth is rightly investigated and applied; only direct realization will do that. Realize yourself, turning the mind inward. (18: 89):

If you are trading the Atmic path then remember: ~

Sage Sankara says: ~ there is no need to study the Scriptures, in order to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman

~ then why you indulge in studying the scriptures.

Sage Sankara says: ~ there is no need to study philosophy, in order to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman

~then why you indulge in studying philosophy.

Sage Sankara says: ~ there is no need to indulge rituals, in order to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman

~then why you indulge in rituals.

Sage Sankara says: ~ there is no need to indulge yoga, in order to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman

~then why you indulge in yoga.

Sage Sankara says the transparent Truth of the Self, which is hidden by the illusion, is to be attained through the instructions of a knower of Brahman, (Gnani)

~ then why you are sticking a Guru who is not a Gnani.

Sage Sankara says: ~ “The exercise in discrimination between real and unreal and renunciation of the false leads truth realization.

Atman is Brahman. The Atman is the innermost Self is non-dual because there is no second thing that exists other than the Atman. Atman is present in the form of consciousness. Consciousness is the only true reality, and everything else, which appears as form, time, and space are merely an illusion. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

The scholar will remain as scholars and philosophers will remain as philosophers arguing on their point of view.+


A Gnani is neither a scriptural scholar nor he is a philosopher. A Gnani is neither a teacher nor he has any teaching. A Gnani silently works and helps the fellow seekers inspiring them guiding them towards inner reality in his own way.
The scholar will remain as scholars and philosophers will remain as philosophers and intellectual remains as intellectuals arguing on their point of view.
A Gnani never propagates any philosophy because philosophy is nothing to do with the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.

A Gnani points out, the obstacles, which are blocking everyone’s realization.

Science may give the scientific answers, religion the religious answers, the yogi will give yogic answers but in pursuit of truth the seeker absorbs all views and he rejects them if they are based on the false self and illusion.

Thus, the path of wisdom is the only means. Then it is no use going roundabout way, trace the Brahman which is the formless substance and the witness of the universe (mind). By tracing the source of the mind, or the universe one will be able to realize the Brahman.

That why Sage Sankara said:~Talk as much philosophy as you like, worship as many gods as you please, observe ceremonies, and sing devotional hymns, but liberation will never come, even after a hundred aeons, without realizing the Oneness.

Sage Sankara says: ~ “What is accepted without a proper inquiry will not lead to the final Goal”. (Commentary on Vedanta Sutra)

Nothing has to be accepted as truth without deeper verification.

Sage Sankara is the only sage who has final authority on the Advaitic truth. The Advaitic truth is rational truth and scientific truth without dogma.

Advaitic wisdom is nothing to do with orthodox Advaita, which is dualistic. Orthodox Advaita is a sect, which blindly accepts and follows dogmas and superstitions.

Modern science is the dualistic wisdom which is capable of unfolding only the mystery of objects contained within the universe but the Sage Sankara’s Advaitic wisdom unfolded the mystery hidden by the universe by declaring the Atman is Brahman and the universe is merely an illusion created out of Brahman. And everything is nothing but Brahman.

It means the Soul, the Spirit or consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman.

The universe is merely an illusion created out of the Soul, the Spirit, or consciousness.

Thus everything is nothing but the Soul, the Spirit, or consciousness, which is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.

Consciousness in you and consciousness in the whole universe are one and the same. Those who realize this truth finds unity in diversity in their understanding and cross the ocean of ignorance.

Consciousness is the cause of the three states and it itself is uncaused.

On the standpoint of the Soul, the Self, the three states are merely an illusion created out of the Soul itself.

Science deals only with immediate causes, not the ultimate cause. Such a process is on the physical plane, good for worldly life.

Advaitic wisdom does not begin with ultimate truth just by holding some philosophical declaration as truth, the truth has to be proved, not assumed.

Remember:~

People who take philosophies for granted are mere scholars who have mastered philosophy without verifying the validity and parroting their philosophical knowledge, not the truth.

People think philosophical mastery is wisdom but it is merely played of words. Philosophical knowledge is not a means to nondual wisdom.

The seeker has to mentally grasp the Soul, the ‘Self’ or “consciousness” which is beyond the reach of words and thought, and it is the formless substance and witness of all the three states.

The means to the attainment of Self- Knowledge is:~ discrimination between things permanent [real/ non-dual] and impermanent [unreal/duality], and the urge for spiritual freedom.

They alone in this world are endowed with the highest wisdom who are firm in their conviction of the sameness and birthlessness of the Self/Spirit. The people who are not sharp and receptive does not understand their way

The intricate maze of the philosophy of different schools claims to clarify matters and reveal the Truth, but in fact, they create more confusion where no confusion needs to exist. To understand anything there is a need for perfect understanding and assimilation of ultimate truth or Brahman. Why worry about the physical body, ego, logic creation, creator, saints and sages, and the world, which are part and parcel of the illusion.

All conceptual divisions were invented by philosophers by their excessive analysis on the dualistic perspective. All these dualistic concepts lead to more and more doubts and confusion. First, they create confusion and then explained spinning the yarn of their imagination.

Fortunate is the seeker who does not lose himself in the labyrinths of philosophy but investigates the Source from which the universe rises and subsides. [

They think and assume or speculate and come to a logical conclusion on the dualistic perspective. Dualistic knowledge is intellectual knowledge based on the ego. Therefore, intellectuality is egocentric.

Egocentricity is the greatest obstacle in grasping the non-dualistic truth hidden by the dualistic illusion or Maya.

Remember:~

There is no need to study the philosophies of Berkeley, Kant, Hume, and other western and eastern philosophers; they are not the means to acquire Self-Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

They are in fact an obstacle in the pursuit of truth because they are based on the dualistic perspective. There is no necessity to study the philosophy of any great thinkers to ensure firm realization.

Philosophical Authoritarianism merely assumes as true what another says, but what has yet to be proved.

Many Gurus will teach “Who am ‘I’? but none have deeply analyzed it scientifically, none can prove it.

The rational proof is needed in pursuit of truth, so that one can arrive at knowing truth i.e. Wisdom; theirs is mere dogma, parrotism, repetition of what they read in scripture, or accumulated knowledge from different sources.

The philosophical argument leads nowhere. If a philosopher says the ’Self’ is formless “another will reply, "No, Self has a form! If one says "his adopted philosophy has a higher value than all other philosophy” another will say, "No, that is lower and there are many philosophies higher than that." It is impossible to get anywhere with such talk because both sides are merely assuming and imagining.

There is no need for any philosophy to verify the truth of the Self. All that is intellectual wealth, useful in explaining doubts and difficulties if others rise them if he himself encounters them in course of thinking. But to attain realization, all that is not necessary.

The seeker of truth should not hold any philosophy as a yardstick. One needs fresh water to drink, but he does not require all the water of the whole lake to quench his thirst for truth. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar 

Unless we bifurcate Buddha from Buddhism and Sage Sankara from Hinduism,the Advaita hidden by the Dvaita will not be revealed.+


Buddhists and Hindus are more concerned about protecting their culture and tradition or paramaparas and myths than the truth. 

Unless we bifurcate Bhagavan Buddha from Buddhism and Sage Sankara from Hinduism the Advaita (Soul), which is hidden by the Dvaita (ignorance) will not be revealed.

There is no need to argue Bhagavan Buddha is wrong and Sage Sankara is right but the seeker must find out where he is going wrong in understanding the great Sages of truth.

Bhagavan Buddha was a Gnani, not his followers. Bhagavan Buddha’s wisdom was lost, it is because it is mixed up and messed up with other religions in Asia wherever it existed. Bhagavan Buddha started the quest and Sage Sankara completed the journey.

India is the ancient land, where wisdom made its home India whose soil has been trodden by the feet of the greatest Sages of truth like Bhagavan Buddha, Sage Sankara, and Sage Goudpada.

India is the fountainhead of Advaitic wisdom. Advaitic wisdom is brighter, greater which unfolds the mystery of the universe contains the whole humanity.

The goal of the truth-seeker is to acquire Self- knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. Self- knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is inherent in every seeker of truth. Self- knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana does not come from outside, it is hidden within the world in which we exist.

Buddha is not physical. Buddha is the state where which is empty of the illusory division of form, time, and space. Buddha is the fullness of consciousness.

Buddhism is nothing to do with Bhagavan Buddha because Buddhism is physical. Buddhism is based on form, time, and space whereas Buddha is a formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.

On a Nondualistic perspective, nothingness or emptiness is the real nature of the Soul the innermost Self. The Soul the innermost Self, is identified as nothingness or emptiness because it is a formless, timeless, and spaceless existence. Everything is nothingness. Nothingness is everything and everything is nothingness. Nothingness is nonduality and everything is duality.

Nothingness is the real nature of the Soul the innermost Self and everything else is the unreal nature of the Soul. Nothingness is eternal because there is no second thing that exists other than nothingness, which is the nature of the Soul.

Dalai Lama said:~ Buddhism need not be the best religion though it is most scientific and religion and inquisitive. But Buddhism has no answer to certain questions like the existence of Atama (Soul) and rebirth. Dali lama said that as an individual he believes in rebirth as he had come across a few cases of rebirth. Modern science, Dalai Lama hoped would unearth the mystery behind the rebirth. (In DH –dec-212009-Gulburga).

The Buddhists are unaware of the fact that the Soul is Self-evident. It is not established by extraneous proofs. It is not possible to deny the Soul because It is the very essence of the one who denies It. The Soul is the basis of all kinds of knowledge, presuppositions, and proofs. Self is within, the Self is without; the Self is before, the Self is behind; the Self is on the right, the Self is on the left; the Self is above and the Self is below. The Soul is everything. Thus, the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, is the ultimate truth or Brahman.

Buddhists believe in emptiness but they are unaware of the fact that emptiness is the nature of the Soul.

The Soul is the Self. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness. The Soul is the witness-consciousness that experiences the action, the actor, and the world of separate things. It is like a light that illuminates everything in a theater, revealing the master of ceremonies, the guests, and the dancers with complete impartiality. Even when they all depart, the light shines to reveal their absence.

Bhagavan Buddha gave nondualistic wisdom whereas Buddhism has many teachings. Bhagavan Buddha’s wisdom was lost because it is buried under the diverse teaching of Buddhism.

Buddhism has not proved the truth of Nonduality whereas Bhagavan Buddha pointed out the unreality of the world and he told people they were foolish to cling to it. But he stopped there. He came nearest to Advaita in speech but not to Advaita fully.

Buddhism did not prove the truth of nonduality because they do not believe in the existence of the Soul. Without the existence of the Soul talking of nonduality is like building a castle with the air.

Sage Sankara disagrees with Buddhists who say, there is nothing - a nonentity. Sage Sankara believes there is some reality, even though things are not what they appear to be. If one knows the truth, he will know what to do to find inspiration for action. The seeker of truth‘s subject is to know what is it that is Real.

Buddhism says: all things are illusory and nothing exists. However, Advaita avers that it is not so. It says that the universe, of course, is illusory, but there is Brahman (consciousness), that exists forming the very substratum of all things (illusion or universe).

Advaitic Sages disagree with Buddhists only on the Ultimate question, but they agree with their idealism fully.

Even when you say "I am not" you are thinking. Hence, every thought means positing some existence. To exist is to be thought of hence our criticism of Sunyavada which says there is nothing. In saying "There is nothing" they are unconsciously positing something. The thought of nothing is existence itself. Hence only by refraining from thought can they state their case. The thought itself is an object. The negation of existence is a thought.

The presence of an object means duality. Hence, this proves that the Sunyavadins never understood non-duality, i.e. Brahman.

Buddhism agrees in thinking that the ego sees itself; they do not admit there is anything that sees the ego: they say there is no proof that any witness exists. When thoughts are there, thoughts become conscious of them. Skandhas which appear and disappear are the object only Buddhists are unaware of the subject.

Only when we independently search the truth without the religion and its doctrine then we will be able to realize the truth beyond form, time, and space.

Sage Sankara and Bhagavan Buddha have given the world a common message. The essence of both the Sages is: ~ The entire world which one perceives is illusionary; it is just an appearance of unreality and there are only one indeterminate and attributeless truth at the root of this world".

Bhagavan Buddha, Sage Sankara, and Sage Goudpada have declared nondualistic truth centuries back. The seeker has to reach the destination with scientific (rational investigation, not through punditry and intellectuality.

The seeker must do his homework, and verify the validity of all the claims, rather than blindly believe, what others expound as knowledge, till; the un-contradicted truth is obtained.

The seeker must have the courage of Bhagavan Buddha to accept the truth and reject the untruth. Since Bhagavan Buddha rejected religion, the idea of God and scriptures, therefore, it is evident that he has gone through every aspect and verified and found them to be inadequate and useless for the pursuit of truth.

That is why Bhagavan Buddha said: ~ “Believe nothing because a wise man said it, Believe nothing because it is generally held. Believe nothing because it is written. Believe nothing because it is said to be divine. Believe nothing because someone else said it. But believe only what you yourself judge to be true.

Bhagavan Buddha:~ There are only two mistakes one can make along the road to truth: not going all the way... and not starting.

One has to mentally reach the final conclusion then only the conviction becomes firm. Without the firm conviction, wisdom will not dawn. Therefore, there is a need to know consciousness is real all else is a myth, which Sage Sankara declared as the world is myth Brahman alone is real.

Sage Sankara says Atman is Brahman and everything is Brahman is a scientific declaration not religious or yogic. Sage Sankara and Sage Goudpada are more scientific than anyone else in the world. Since the real Advaitic essence is hidden it cannot be got without the inner (mental) journey.

Sage Goudpada says:~The merciful Veda teaches karma and Upasana to people of lower and middling intellect while Jnana is taught to those of higher intellect.

Gnana here is knowledge uncontradictable truth or scientific truth. Thus their scientific truth of the whole, not the part is declared by Sage Sankara many centuries back and thought only to those of higher intellect. Thus, karma, Upasana, and yoga, and orthodoxy have to be bifurcated in order to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.

Advaitic Wisdom is for those who are capable of inquiring into their own existence to know and realize the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth. : ~Santthosh Kumaar

Only your intense urge to realize the truth will take you to the ultimate end, but your accumulated knowledge will block you from realizing the truth+

It is impossible for the seeker to discard the ‘I’ because they are stuck up with the idea that ‘I’ itself is the “Self’.

In the past, some famous Gurus and their teachings glorified the ‘I’ people take it as a final and accepted it as the ultimate truth. Such acceptance without verifying the fact about the ‘I’, their journey is incomplete. Blind acceptance and reverence to the guru will not help the seeker to get rid of the ignorance.

Firstly, doubt about this ‘I’, how it came into existence. There are no other means to the final goal is the realization of the source of the ‘I’. There is a need to understand, assimilate, and realize the nature of this ‘I’, which appears and disappears.

It is erroneous to use the word ‘I’ for the “Self’, because ‘I’ represents the form, time, and space whereas the Soul, the innermost “Self’ is a formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.

Bhagavad Gita: ~ “The permanent is always there, only the transient ‘I’ comes and goes.” (2.18)

To understand the false nature of the ‘I’, the “Self’-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is necessary.

The ‘Self’ is not ‘I’, but the ‘Self’ is the Soul which is the witness of the ‘I’. By holding the’ “Self’’ as the ‘I’ leads to hallucinations based on the imagination.

Those who are stuck with the ‘I-centric teaching never be able to cross the domain of the form, time, and space.

All the Gurus glorified the ‘I’. Thus, it becomes very difficult to discard the ‘I’. Those who have accepted the ‘I’ based teaching refuse to accept anything other than their accepted truth. Till you hold the ‘“Self’’ as the ‘I’, your knowledge remains skin deep.

The world in which you exist came into existence because of the ‘I’. The world, in which you exist ceases to exist without the ‘I’.

Sage Sankara: ~ “VC~ All this universe which through ignorance appears as of diverse forms, is nothing else but Brahman which is absolutely free from all the limitations of human thought”.

The ‘I’ is what the seeker begins his investigation. A perfect understanding of ‘what is what’ will help the seeker to reach the Soul, which is the “Self’.

Sage Sankara: ~ "VC~ if the universe is true, let it then be perceived in the state of deep sleep also. As it is not at all perceived, it must be unreal and false like dreams.

This universe is nothing but the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. From the Soul, the universe appears and when the universe disappears from the consciousness, the consciousness still remains without any division of the form, time, and space.

Ashtavakra Gita: ~ “The universe rises from the Soul, the innermost “Self’ like bubbles from the sea. Thus, know the ‘Self’ to be “One” and in this way enter into the state of dissolution."

To enable the seeker to steer clear of any possible doubt, the seeker should take the Atmic path. The ‘I’ is the clue and study the nature of the ‘I’ and discover its source.

The 'Self' is not within you but the 'Self' is hidden in the world in which you exist. The one which is born, lives, and dies is not the ‘“Self’’ because the 'Self’ is the Soul, which the ever formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.

The Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness, is nothing to do with you the world in which you exist. On the Standpoint of the Soul, the innermost “Self’, the world in which you exist is merely an illusion.

The 'Self' is not within you because the 'Self' is not the body. If the ‘“Self’’ is not you, then why you think the 'Self’ is within you. Deeper Self-search reveals the fact that you and the world are within the Soul the 'Self’. a perfect understanding and assimilation lead to “Self’-realization.

Till you think you are an individual separate from this world you will remain in the realm of dualistic illusion. The dualistic illusion is the product of ignorance. When the Advaitic wisdom dawns, then the ignorance vanishes. When the ignorance vanishes, then the duality never remains as a reality.

First, the seeker has to know ‘what is the subject’ and ‘what is the object’. Deeper self -search reveals the fact that”: the world in which we exist is an object to the formless subject. The formless subject is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Deeper verification reveals the fact that the object and the subject are one in essence. That essence is consciousness. Thus, the object only an illusion created out of the formless subject. The subject alone is real exists eternal. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

The seeker has to make sure what is this ‘I’ supposed to be? The seeker has to make sure the unreal nature of the ‘I’ which comes and goes in order to realize the truth; which is beyond the form, time, and space.

That is why Bhagavad Gita: ~ “The permanent is always there, only the transient ‘I’ comes and goes. (2.18)

The ‘I’ hides the Soul, the Self, which is present in the form of consciousness.

People think the ‘I’ without the body is the Self. The seeker has to understand the fact that ‘I’ is not the Self, but the witness of the ‘I’ is the true Self, which is eternal.

That is why Ashtavakra Gita 16:10:~ “If you desire liberation, but you still say ‘I’ if you feel the ‘Self’ is the ‘I’, you are not a wise man or a seeker. You are simply a man who suffers.

People are stuck with the reality of the ‘I’, which they take it as real because some Gurus have propagated the Self is the ‘I’. There is no need to convince such a mindset. The seeker of truth accepts only the truth nothing but the truth.

That is why Sage Sankara says: ~ VC-65-. As a treasure hidden underground requires (for its extraction) competent instruction, excavation, the removal of stones and other such things lying above it and (finally) grasping, but never comes out by being (merely) called out by name, so the transparent Truth of the Self, which is hidden by Maya and its effects, is to be attained through the instructions of a knower of Brahman, followed by reflection, meditation and so forth, but not through perverted arguments.

People refuse to accept anything other than their Gurus words. For them, their Gurus words are the ultimate truth. They do not accept anything else other than their accepted truth. There is no need to convince such a mindset.

Such a mindset is not fit to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. The seekers of truth accept only the truth nothing but the uncontradictable truth. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

There is no need to follow anyone. Self-realization becomes easy if you independently walk your path.+
