Some Gurus say I and you are one without knowing how we are one. Such imaginary theories are not Advaitic wisdom.+

Some Gurus say I and you are one without knowing how we are one. Such imaginary theories are not Advaitic wisdom. Playing with the emotions of the seeker with ornamental worlds is the biggest sin. Emotions keep you locked in the prison of ignorance.

Emotions belong to the dualistic illusion. If you get stuck with the physical guru, then you are stuck to ignorance. Unless until you come out o Gurudom and guru sticking business you will never be able to realize the truth hidden by ignorance.

The Guru is not needed in pursuit of truth because the truth has to be ascertained by the seeker himself. Advaitic Wisdom will not rise from intellectual spoon-feeding, but it arises only from deeper self-search to the sincere and serious seeker who has an intense urge to know the ultimate truth or Brahman.

If you are seeking truth nothing but the truth, then you have to discard this Guru/disciple business.

The guidance comes from within because the Guru is within. People think the Self is the body, they think their Guru also has the body and the Guru would do something tangible to them.

People who are stuck with branded Masters and Guru and takes their Guru’s word as final without verifying the validity of their Guru’s teaching. They are stuck with their egocentric intellectuality, which is the greatest hindrance in realizing the ultimate truth or Brahman.

Sage Sankara says: ~ What is accepted without a proper inquiry will not lead to the final Goal. (Commentary on Vedanta Sutra).

Nothing has to be accepted truth without verification. Nothing is needed for acquiring Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana other than perfect understanding, assimilation, and realization of ‘what is what.”

By just saying we are one, we do not become one. We must know on what standpoint, we are one.

Only from the standpoint of the Soul, the   Self, there is unity in diversity. Therefore, perfect understanding ‘what is what’ is very much necessary in the path of wisdom.

Religious and yogic gurus are not Gnanis. Religious path and yogic path and all other paths and practices are meant for the ignorant populace who has a firm conviction that the world in which they exist as a reality.

Sages of truth restrained themselves parting the Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana to the mass and only a selected few. It was hidden from the people who were not qualified and receptive to it.

Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana was not written down but was imparted orally to the chosen few.

Thus, religion was given to the mass, and knowledge of the spirit is given only selected a few. Thus, we find traces of the knowledge of the spirit in the religious books in the form of parables.

Katha Upanishad says: ~ This Atman is attained by him alone whom It chooses. To such a one Atman reveals Its own form. (II -23-P-20)

Upanishads: ~ Fools dwelling in darkness, but thinking they wise and erudite, go round and round, by various tortuous paths, like the blind led by the blind. (Upanishads Nikilanada - Ch II-5 P-14)

So-called spiritual paths are useless unless it causes us to seek the truth of our true existence. All controversies about creation, the nature of the universe, evolution, the purpose of God, etc., are useless in the Atmic path.

Bhagavan Buddha: ~ There are only two mistakes one can make along the road to truth: not going all the way... and not starting.

Throw the mental garbage and start NOW and start afresh.

Swami Vivekananda:~ This bending the knee to superstitions, this selling yourself, to your own mind does not befit you, the Soul. Self is infinite, deathless, and birthless. Because the Self is infinite Spirit, it does not befit you to be a slave. ... Arise! Awake!

Sage  Sankara said: ~ Neither by the practice of yoga nor philosophy, nor by good works nor by learning, does liberation come, but only through the realization that Atman and Brahman are one in no other way. (1) Vivekachoodamani v 56, pg 25

Why you are waiting, conquer the truth on your own independently. That is what Sages of truth wants you to do.: Santthosh Kumaar

The ancient peoples of India belong to the Vedic religion or Santana Dharma, therefore they have nothing to do with the present-day Hinduism.+

Mark Twain: ~ "India is, the cradle of the human race, the birthplace of human speech, the mother of history, the grandmother of legend, and the great-grandmother of tradition. Our most valuable and most instructive materials in the history of man are treasured up in India only."

India takes pride in being the descendants of the Sages of truth who gave the Advaitic wisdom. The Advaitic wisdom unfolds the mystery of the universe.

One must remember that for all periods the Vedas are the final goal and authority, and if the Puranas differ in any respect from the Vedas, the Puranas are to be rejected without mercy.

If you feel Puranas says something and the Vedas say something else, reject the Puranas and believe in the Vedas. The Puranas are just a myth.

Origin of the word 'Hindu’:~

As we peep into the annals of the religious history of India we find:~

Swami Vivekananda says: - The word Hindu is a misnomer; the correct word should be a Vedantins, a person who follows the Vedas.

The word Hindu is derived from the Indo-Aryan and Sanskrit word Sindhu, which means "a large body of water", covering "river, ocean". ... The term 'Hindu' in these ancient records is an ethno-geographical term and did not refer to a religion. The Arabic equivalent Al-Hind likewise referred to the country of India.

Many scholars and historians have concluded that the word 'Hindu' was coined by the ancient invaders who could not accurately pronounce the name of the River Sindhu. According to Sir Monier Williams, the famous Sanskrit lexicographer, the words 'Hindu' and 'India' evidently do not possess...

Interestingly the word "Hindu" came into existence because of mispronunciation of a Sanskrit word by the ancient Persians some 3000 to 4000 years ago. The word "Hindu" is not a Sanskrit word. It is not found in any of the thousands of native dialects and languages of India. Neither is it a religious word. It is a secular word...

Hindu means nothing. Hindu and word Hinduism were given by Irani and Persian people who can’t pronoun Sandhu, so they call people opposite side of river Sandhu as HINDU & Hinduism was given by Britishers.

The word 'Hindu' has no meaning actually. Hindu is derived from the word Sindhu in Sanskrit, the historical local name for the Indus River. The word 'Hindu' occurred first as a Persian geographical term for the people who lived beyond the river Indus. Hindu was a geographical term and did not refer to a religion.

The word Hindu was used initially to describe the people of India; it was never used to describe religion. Thus, Hinduism is not a religion it is the way of life of Indian people of different caste, creed, culture, tradition, and ideology of different part of India under a single roof.

Hinduism is not Vedic Religion or Sanatana Dharma.

The word 'Hinduism' has become a common word in the modern world. The real fact is that words like Hinduism, Hindu, etc. never appear in any of the ancient scriptures! So to know our religion, the first step is to know what dharma means.

The ancient peoples of India belong to the Vedic religion or Santana Dharma, therefore they have nothing to do with the present-day Hinduism.

The ancient peoples of the Indus Valley of undivided India were not identified themselves as Hindu.

Hindu idol or deity or temple is nothing to do with the Vedic religion. Vedic people ate beef. The Hindu practices of idol worship and temple worship ban on beef-eating introduced many centuries later.

As one peeps into the annals of religious history he finds that the Hinduism which exists today is not a continuation of the Vedic religion or Aanatana Dharma, and it has no real historical foundation. Hinduism is of a much later origin.

As per the researchers, the two faiths the Hindu belief system has drifted miles away from the Vedic faith so that the two seem to be two distinct faiths. It is not difficult to discover that there is no noticeable continuity of Hinduism from the religion of the Vedas.

The distinctive characteristics of the Hindu belief system cannot be traced in the Vedic literature. Besides, although the Vedas are revered as sacred texts, there are many people in India who do not know what ‘belief in the Vedas’ means. In most cases, the acquaintance of the Hindus with the Vedas is limited to the few hymns that are recited in temples and household liturgies.

To be considered an orthodox Hindu one need only accept the authority of Shruti, however, there is no universal agreement among Hindus what constitutes Shruti. Vedantins consider the Vedanta, i.e., the Upanishads as Shruti but also include the Bhagavad-Gita and Brahma Sutras as authoritative. For some Vaishnavas, the Bhagavata Purana is to be considered Veda. Some consider the Tantras are considered Veda. Thus we find that there is ample scope for different philosophies and practices under the very broad umbrella of Hinduism. Hindus indulge non-Vedic beliefs such as idolatry, ancestor worship, pilgrimages, priestcraft, offerings made in temples, the caste system, untouchability, and child marriages. All these lack Vedic sanctions, therefore, Hinduism is not Ancient Vedic religion or Santana Dharma. And all Hindus indulge in non-Vedic practice barred by the Vedas introduced by the different founders of the different sects of Hinduism at a different time, whereas the Vedic religion or Santana Dharma is ancient and has no founder. Thus to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana, the seeker has to realize his inherited religion is adulterated in the past and it becomes a great obstacle is realizing the ultimate truth or Brahman.

Hinduism is based on myths and thus people of Indian are unaware of the facts of their inherited religious history. The Vedic Culture and Vedas are complete in themselves but Hinduism which is a non-Vedic belief system with all rituals and conduct oriented practices has been contributed largely by the orthodox priests to suit their convenience!

Supreme Court of India:~ Hinduism, as a religion, incorporates all forms of belief without mandating the selection or elimination of any one single belief,“ It is a religion that has no single founder, no single scripture, and no single set of teachings. It has been described as Santana Dharma, namely, eternal faith, as it is the collective wisdom and inspiration of the centuries that Hinduism seeks to preach and propagate,” ---Hinduism has no single founder or scripture: SC, The Times of India (Delhi) Dec 17, 2015

Hindus are idol worshipers of a large number of Gods and Goddesses whereas in Vedas the God has been described as:-

Max Müller says: ~ "The religion of the Veda knows no idols; the worship of idols in India is a secondary formation, a degradation of the more primitive worship of ideal gods."

Hindus are idol worshipers of a large number of Gods and Goddesses whereas in Vedas the God has been described as:-

Yajurveda – chapter- 32:~  God is Supreme Spirit has no ‘Pratima’ (idol) or material shape. God cannot be seen directly by anyone. God pervades all beings and all directions.

Thus, Idolatry does not find any support from the Vedas.

Rig Veda: ~ The Atman (Soul or Spirit) is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman the innermost self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)

Vedas itself says: May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman? Thus, to know the real God Self-realization is necessary. Self-realization is God-realization. Self-realization itself is real worship.

Brihadaranyaka Upanishad: ~ Brahman (God) is present in the form of the Athma, and it is indeed Athma itself.

Thus, it refers to formless and attributeless God, which is the Atman (Soul), the innermost self within the false experience. Thus, it indicates clearly all the Gods with form and attributes are mere imagination based on the false self. Thus Atman or Soul, the innermost Self is God. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Ashtavakra:-You may often speak of various scriptures or hear them but cannot be established in the Self unless you forget all.+

Ashtavakra said: ~ “16-1~ “My child, you may often speak upon various scriptures or hear them, But cannot be established in the ‘Self ‘unless you forget all.

Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana cannot be surmised by merely reading the Vedas and Upanishads.

Scriptures are meant for ignorant people who are in preliminary stages. Scriptures are of no use to establish in the ultimate truth of Brahman. The seeker has to strive for getting certainty, irrefutable proof of ‘Self’ in truth not dogmatic assertion in order to get rid of the ignorance.

Yoga Vasistha says: ~ Self-knowledge or knowledge of truth is not had by resorting to a Guru (preceptor) nor by the study of scripture, nor by good works: it is attained only by means of inquiry inspired by the company of wise (Gnani). One’s inner light alone is the means, naught else. When this inner light is kept alive, it is not affected by the darkness of inertia.

Ashtavakra:~There is no wisdom whatsoever in the scriptures-just a collection of words.

The seeker should not bother about finding the meaning of what is written in the scriptures. The scriptures are self-contradictory only you have to pick only those insights which are signposts, which indicated the reality, which is beyond the form, time, and space. The subconscious goal of your search is Self- awareness.

Mundaka Upanishads:~ So-called spiritual pundits and learned are called children because a child takes whatever it thinks as truth. The question never occurs to children “Is what I have seen or thought really the truth?" (P.334 line 9)

Scriptures are not needed in pursuit of truth. Even the Upanishads and the sages of truth declare the same.

Mundaka Upanishad:~ The study of the Vedas, linguistics, Rituals, astronomy, and all the arts can be called lower knowledge. The higher is that which leads to Self-realization. The eye cannot see it; the mind cannot grasp it. The deathless Self has neither caste nor race, neither eyes nor ears nor hands nor feet. Sages say this Self is infinite in the great and in the small, everlasting and changeless, the source of life.

The ultimate truth has to be ascertained without the scriptures by realizing the Self is neither the waking entity nor the dream entity but the Self is Soul which is present in the form of consciousness. In the realm of truth the form, time, and space are created out of single stuff. That single stuff is consciousness. Realizing the single stuff as the ultimate truth is Self-realization or truth realization. To realize this truth there is no need for the scriptures.

Sage Sankara says ~ VC-162- There is no liberation for a person of mere book knowledge, howsoever well-read in the philosophy of Vedanta, so long as one does not give up the false identification with the body, sense organs, etc., which are unreal.

The ultimate truth has to be realized first then only it is possible to know what the scriptures are saying.

Scriptures are being added from time to time. This process will go on. There is the final authority among them? One contradicts the other: duality reigns supreme.

I quote Scriptural citation only after verification reality and proved the truth, to point out that the scriptures teach the same thing. If one quotes them before having demonstrated truth, then it is scholasticism.

That is why Sage Sankara:~ VC~.61. For one who has been bitten by the serpent of Ignorance, the only remedy is the knowledge of Brahman. Of what avail are the Vedas and (other) Scriptures, Mantras (sacred formulae), and medicines to such a one?

VC- v6~ Let erudite scholars quote all the scripture, let Gods be invoked through sacrifices, let elaborate rituals be performed, let personal Gods be propitiated---yet, without the realization of one‘s identity With the Self, there shall be no liberation for the individual, not even in the lifetimes of a hundred Brahmas put together

Self-knowledge cannot be attained by taking sanyasa, by the study of the scriptures and intellectual understanding, or by bookish knowledge. Therefore there is no use in studying the scriptures and other scriptures in order to acquire non-dualistic wisdom. That is why Buddha rejected the scriptures, and even Sage Sankara indicated that the ultimate truth lies beyond religion, the concept of God, and scriptures.

There is only one Reality to be known, the same for all seekers, but the ways to it, are hidden by the religion. Self-discovery is the only way, towards non-dual Absolute without any religious doctrines, which will help the seekers to unfold the mystery of the illusion in which we all are searching for the truth of our true existence.

That is why Sage Sankara says: ~ VC- 56- Neither by Yoga, nor by Sankhya, nor by good work, nor by learning, but by the realization of one's identity with Brahman is Liberation possible, and by no other means.

58. Loud speech consisting of a shower of words, the skill in expounding the Scriptures, and likewise erudition - these merely bring on a little personal enjoyment to the scholar but are no good for Liberation.

59. The study of the Scriptures is useless so long as the highest Truth is unknown, and it is equally useless when the highest Truth has already been known.

60. The Scriptures consisting of many words are a dense forest that merely causes the mind to ramble. Hence men of wisdom should earnestly set about knowing the true nature of the Self.

61. For one who has been bitten by the serpent of Ignorance, the only remedy is the knowledge of Brahman. Of what avail are the Vedas and (other) Scriptures, Mantras (sacred formulae), and medicines to such a one?

62. A disease does not leave off if one simply utters the name of the medicine, without taking it; (similarly) without direct realization one cannot be liberated by the mere utterance of the word Brahman.

63. Without causing the objective universe to vanish and without knowing the truth of the Self, how is one to achieve Liberation by the mere utterance of the word Brahman? — It would result merely in an effort of speech.

64. Without killing one’s enemies, and possessing oneself of the splendor of the entire surrounding region, one cannot claim to be an emperor by merely saying, ‘I am an emperor’.

65As a treasure hidden underground requires (for its extraction) competent instruction, excavation, the removal of stones and other such things lying above it and (finally) grasping, but never comes out by being (merely) called out by name, so the transparent Truth of the Self, which is hidden by Maya and its effects, is to be attained through the instructions of a knower of Brahman, followed by reflection, meditation and so forth, but not through perverted arguments.

66. Therefore the wise should, as in the case of disease and the like, personally strive by all the means in their power to be free from the bondage of repeated births and deaths.

Then there is no need for the scriptures, religion, and idea of God. One has to be more rational to realize the Advaitic truth, which is the ultimate truth or scientific truth.

Sage Sankara says:~ Keep the scriptures for children but throw them on the fire for wise seekers.

Truth realization or God's realization is not for the religious people who are stuck with their religion.

Until you have the firm conviction of the truth you will not be able to realize God, which is hidden by the illusion. You will realize the truth if you are sincere and serious in your quest. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

If you are serious and sincerely seeking truth then that very seriousness sincerity will help you to realize what is truth and what is untruth.+

Going beyond Vedas means going beyond religion. Going beyond religion means, going beyond the belief of God. Going beyond the Vedas, religion, and belief of God mean going beyond illusion. That is the end of the Vedas (Veda –ante). That is why Buddha rejected Vedas, religion, and belief in religious God and got enlightenment.

When one goes into the annals of history it looks like the true Advaita expounded by Sage Sankara and Sage Goudpada was hidden from the ignorant populace. The orthodoxy Advaita is not Sage Sankara's wisdom. Advaitic orthodoxy meant for the ignorant.

The Advaitic Orthodoxy talks of Advaita but their practice is dualistic. The orthodoxy is nothing to do with Sage Sankara's Advaitic wisdom. Advaitic orthodoxy is based on the experience of the birth entity whereas Advaitic wisdom is based on the Soul, the Self which is ever birthless and deathless and wordless.

Advaitic Orthodoxy holds the individual experience of birth, life, death, and the world as a reality whereas the Sage Sankara says the world in which the individual exists is an illusion.

Sage Sankara’s wisdom is not teaching or philosophy but Advaita is the universal wisdom. Advaitic wisdom is neither a teaching nor a theory but it is mere guidance to those who are seriously seeking the ultimate truth or Brahman. Grasp the ultimate truth anytime, any age, if the seeker has the spiritual maturity and capacity to grasp it.

Sage Sankara says: ~ VC-47 All the effects of ignorance, root, and branch, are burnt down by the fire of knowledge, which arises from discrimination between these two—the Self and the not-Self.

It really depends on his inborn natural capacity to understand and assimilate it.

Sage Sankara’s wisdom is a Self-examiner, to test oneself to discover how near to Gnana he has approached and what progress has already been made on the path, and what still remains to be done. It sets up criteria for Self-judgement. There are millions in search of truth but one in million will be able to grasp it.

Without Sage Sankara, there is no Advaita (nonduality). Since it was mixed up with orthodoxy there is a lot of confusion.

I am highlighting all the obstacles, which is blocking one from realizing the ultimate truth or Brahman. There are so many non-dualistic masters of the east and also from the west who expound Advaitic or non-dualistic knowledge but none of them are helpful to reach the ultimate end.

One has to know and realize his innermost Self is Soul and identify it as his true identity to find liberation from the bondage of the illusion of birth, life, death, and the world(duality). The goal of our life is to find and realize our identity with our Soul, which is our innermost Self.

If you are serious and sincerely seeking truth then that very seriousness sincerity will help you to realize what is truth and what is the untruth. Self-discovery leads to self-awareness.

Upanishads:~ Fools dwelling in darkness, but thinking they wise and erudite, go around and round, by various tortuous paths, like the blind led by the blind. (Upanishads Nikilanada - Ch II-5 P-14)

The Scriptures mastery, the force of religious merit--none of these leads to the realization of that Ultimate Truth or Brahman. The ultimate truth is revealed in the clear understanding and realization of ‘what is truth and ‘what is untruth'. When one realizes the untruth (universe) is created out of single stuff, the ‘Self’-awareness rises in the midst of duality exposing the unreal nature of the form, time, and space.

People think by studying Vedanta thoroughly, they are under the delusion and conclude that they have become Gnanis. By becoming adept in Advaita Vedanta does not mean that one has become Gnani. One gains thereby a mere intellectual understanding of the truth. The truth is e beyond the intellect.

Sage Sankara said:~Neither by the practice of yoga nor philosophy, nor by good works nor by learning, does liberation come, but only through the realization that Atman and Brahman are one in no other way. (1) Vivekachoodamani v 56, pg 25

Fortunate seekers are the one who does not lose themselves in the labyrinths of philosophy. conceptual divisions invented by the Advaitic Gurus of the east and the west by their excessive analysis. there is no end for concepts, they create more confusion. the serious seeker is the one who does not lose himself in the labyrinths of philosophy but searches the 'Self' independently and realizes it.

Among thousands of people, scarcely one strives for perfection; and of those who strive and succeed, scarcely one knows the ‘Self’ in truth. The truth is beyond the form, time, and space.

Come ye slow, or come ye fast; it is but the Soul that reveals itself at last.: ~ Santthosh Kumaar

There are so many Advaitic Gurus and Masters from the east and west but their wisdom is not Sage Sri, Sankara Advaitic wisdom.+

The ‘I-centric’ and ‘you-centric’ and accumulated knowledge from different Gurus are not the Advaitic wisdom of Sage Sankara.

The knowledge accumulated from intellectual spoon-feeding collected from the intellectual the wise men is not the Advaitic wisdom. The persons who are propagating only half-truth as the absolute truth are playing emotions of the seeker with their skill of ornamental words. The seeker must unlearn what he has learned from all the Advaitic Gurus of the east and west start afresh if he is seriously seeking the truth, nothing but the truth.

Sage Sankara says ~ VC-162- There is no liberation for a person of mere book knowledge, howsoever well-read in the philosophy of Vedanta, so long as one does not give up the false identification with the body, sense organs, etc., which are unreal.

People dwelling in the ignorance, but thinking themselves wise and erudite, go round and round by various blind beliefs and tortuous paths and practices, like the blind led by the blind.

The people who are stuck with half-truth think they have already realized the truth and they try to snub others and expect to follow their own terms without realizing they have not yet completed the journey.

If one has understood what ‘truth ‘really is “then there is no necessity to know ‘Who am I? or ‘I am that’. ‘WHO AM I?’ or ‘I AM THAT’ reveal only half-truth because they are limited to individuality and reveals only the unreal nature of the ego.

The ego is individual whereas the ‘Soul’, the innermost ‘Self’ is not an individual because it is a formless, timeless, and spaceless existence. Thus, the journey is incomplete. The seeker has to go much deeper to know the full truth about the ‘Self', which is beyond form, time, and space.

Sage Sri, Sankara’s wisdom is not teaching or philosophy but Advaita is the universal wisdom. Advaitic wisdom is neither a teaching nor a theory but it is only guidance to those who are seriously seeking the ultimate truth or Brahman. Grasp the ultimate truth anytime, any age, if the seeker has the spiritual maturity and capacity to grasp it.

The seeker has to realize the Self is not ‘I’ or ‘you’ but the Soul and identify the Self as Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness to find liberation from the bondage of the illusory experience pf the birth, life, death, and world(duality). The human goal is to find and realize the ‘Self’ hidden by ignorance.

Sage Sankara said:~ Neither by the practice of yoga nor philosophy, nor by good works nor by learning, does liberation come, but only through the realization that Atman and Brahman are one in no other way. (1) Vivekachoodamani v 56, pg. 25

To come to a more precise understanding of what non-duality is or might mean, we must return to the original linguistic and philosophic backgrounds from which the word has been translated into English.

If we limit a probe of the meaning of non-duality to Hindu Sanskrit literature, we find that the most frequently used term is “Advaita”.

Advaita” is not a religious concept. Advaita is the nature of the existence hidden by the form, time, and space. The seeker has to attempt to rule out from the start a false understanding of the reality by perfect understanding of ‘what is what’.

The Advaita is hidden by the dvaita. Advaita is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. Dvaita is the universe.

Advaita is basically a denial; it is literally the negation of the dvaita. That means whatever remains by negating the universe by realizing the universe is created out of single clay and that clay is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, the hidden truth by dvaita uncovered. The consciousness is the cause of the universe and it itself is uncaused. ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Who is not a Gnani?+

The Knower of the ultimate truth or Brahman or God is Brahma Gnani. A Brahma Gnani has realized the knowledge beyond the form, time, and space.

A person who realized the ultimate truth or Brahman will throw off his religious robe and his religious identity and becomes Avadhuta and live as he wishes.

Many people are struck with awe or reverence at the outer indications of renunciation, and thus blindly accept a religious Guru or Godmen to be a Gnani. The two have no connection. Because he has no wife, no family, and no possessions" they think a man who has merely repressed these desires as though these things had anything to do with the wisdom, he is a religious man.

People are quite incompetent to judge who is a Gnani between Godmen, intellectuals, and yogis. A Gnani is neither Godmen, nor a yogi, nor an intellectual.

A Gnani vision of the world, in which he exists, is, beyond time and space, embracing the Soul, ultimate reality. The universe in which you exist is within the Soul.

A Guru who speaks about religious God, scriptures, rituals, and religion is not a Gnani.

A yogi who is immersed in yogic samadhi is not a Gnani.

A Godman who indulges in miracles is not a Gnani.

An intellectual who argues on his own speculated theories is not a Gnani.

A man who has mastered the scriptural knowledge is not a Gnani.

A man who propagates sex as the means of liberation is not a Gnani.

A Gnani is the one who shares knowledge and guides the seeker towards the source of the mind (I) is real Gnani. A Gnani never claims himself a teacher nor does he accept anyone as a disciple.

Sage Sankara himself said: ~ A Gnani "bears no outward mark of a holy man" (Stanza 539).

Sage Sankara: ~ "Though I wear these robes of a sanyasin, it is only for the sake of bread."

So he wore a Guru's robe only for the sake of the ignorant. So, he was identified as Guru with parampara by religious people. For the truth seekers, Sage  Sankara is a Brahma Gnani.

Thus, it proves that the religious gurus and yogis are not Gnanis because they identified themselves as holy people.

Sage Sankara was a Gnani. The modern Gurus are not Gnanis. And you have to understand that to be a Gnani is one thing; to be a Guru is totally different.

Out of a million people perhaps one is a Gnani. Most of the Self- realized decide to remain silent – seeing the difficulty, that whatever they have realized is impossible to convey in any possible way to others; seeing that not only is it difficult to convey, it is bound to be misunderstood too.

A Gnani never claims himself as a Gnani, he guides the seekers, not posing himself as a Guru, and he does not force his wisdom on others.

People cannot distinguish between reasoning and intellect as a Gnani does. Egocentric reason applied only to practical life within the practical world is called logic, intellect.

Soulcentric reason is the Spiritualistic reason is necessary to unfold the truth of the whole.

A Gnani knows both egocentric reason (logic) and Soulcentric reason. He uses the egocentric reason (logic) in practical life within the practical world and uses the Soulcentric reason to know the truth beyond for, time and space.

Logic is very much necessary for a practical purpose. But the logic cannot be applied to discover the truth because logic implies duality and the ultimate truth is based on the non-dualistic perspective.

A Gnani is not a religious person. A Gnani does not depend on the scriptures. A Gnani is the fountainhead of Gnana. The Advaitic Gnana is the only indication to recognize a Gnani.

Sage Sankara says the transparent Truth of the ‘Self’, which is hidden by the illusion, is to be attained through the instructions of a knower of Brahman, (Gnani) then why you are sticking a Guru who is not a Gnani.

For Gnani the world is an illusion. Viewed from the absolute, there's neither birth nor life nor death, neither the appearance nor the disappearance, neither the production nor the destruction, neither the bondage nor the liberation.  In reality,  there is neither seeker nor seeking nor freedom nor liberation - this is the highest truth because the reality is non-dual

A Gnani knows that there's neither unity nor plurality - the world is neither one nor many. Just as a piece of rope is mistaken for a snake, the Atman is mistaken, as this diverse world. The duality is an illusory appearance and the non-dual Atman is the real truth.

Manduka Upanishads: - It is very difficult to find out who is a Gnani because he bears no external mark. Neither nudity nor the yellow robe has anything to do with him.

A Gnani cannot have the idea of renouncing the world or giving up something of the practical world because that would connote the idea of duality. Duality is merely an illusion from the ultimate standpoint. Knowing no second thing at all there remains nothing to be given up.

The one who identifies himself as a swami, a Guru or yogi, is not a Gnani. A Gnani never identifies himself as swami, Guru, pundit, or yogi. Swami, Guru, pundit, or yogi belongs to the religious or the yogic path not to the path of wisdom. : ~Santthosh Kumaar

There is no need to follow anyone. Self-realization becomes easy if you independently walk your path.+
